Commissioner of Police in Lagos state, Edgal Imohimi, on Tuesday September 19th, salvaged a couple from a ritualist shrine in Ikorodu in Lagos state.
The couple, seen in the photos, had reportedly gone to the town for spiritual help but on getting to there, they met with the herbalist, Adedeji James, who had an ulterior plan to use them for ritual purposes.
Acting on a tipoff, the state police commissioner then stormed the shrine and rescued the couple – the discovery necessitated yesterday’s demolition of three shrines in the area.
