Ex-beauty Queen and mother-of-one, Anna Ebiere, has admonished mothers to never be ashamed of their stretch marks, but rather embrace the beautiful memories that are associated with it.

Some people have tattoos that are worse than stretch marks yet in their ignorant mind they go about showing it off proudly cos to them that’s is what is in Vogue. They are not ashamed of it. I use to wonder if some people were born with such horrible tattoos if they would have been happy. If they show off their horrible tattoos why should I feel ashamed of my beautiful stretch mark which is the mark of honour as a woman, a mother who went conquered and came back victorious with my beautiful trophies.
