It would appear that there has been some criticism of Covenant University’s high tuition fees, and in this morning in Jos, Dr David Oyedepo, the Bishop of the Living Faith Church which owns the private university in a telecast to a pre-Shiloh 2016 Convention said critics of the university’s high fees should will incur the wrath of God.
He also said the issue of school fees was approved by God. He said,
The school fees has Gods approval and is in accordance with the quality of facilities provided by the university in meeting the educational needs of the nation
He also cited the example of one such critic who he says was smitten with a strange plague of chronic mouth odour over for the act and only received spiritual pardon following his confession and what the Bishop called, “my intervention before he was restored to dignity”.
News of the Bishop’s warnings to critics about inciting the wrath of God and getting plagued by mouth odor has gone viral on social media and the reactions have been heavily critical of Bishop Oyedepo.

The church is meant to help the less privileged growing in faith, rather they chase them away with high school fees, now the world and unbelievers are the one rescuing the less privileged, and later you go preach to them, I remember contributing toward building deeper life high school when I was a member, every parent then was happy that their children will be able to attend the school, but what a happened, they later made that school fee 150k per term, tell me is that God’s will?? Some parent left their work and went to clear and work in the site where the school was being built but later the fee was discouraging, please think before saying things.

Dear nobody is forcing us to attend the school. There are school whereby a child of primary school and secondary pay up to 2000k. Some go abroad to school so my advice work hard pray for God favor to also enjoy life. It’s fair that the price will be high, however the church need to have a scholarship board that gives 100 percent scholarship to some exceptional students within their congregation and then subsidized scholarship for many others in various forms. That’s how to give back and run a for profit organization owned by a non profit organization _the church.
