Moesha Boduong is a curvy Ghanaian actress.
She has come under intense criticism from Ghanaians after an interview she had with CNN’s Amanpour.
In the interview, the actress stated that the economy in Ghana has made many women dependent on men for their upkeep.
She went further to state that she’s having sex with a guy because he can afford to take care of her financial needs.

Moesha Boduong: In Ghana our economy is such that you just need someone to take care of you because you can’t make enough money as a woman here
Amanpour : Why because you can’t make enough money?
Moesha Boduong: You can’t make enough money as a woman here. Because if you want an apartment, you have to pay for two years in advance and i just started working…where will i get money to pay…
Amanpour: Are you basically telling me you are having sex with this guy essentially to pay your rent? (Shock in her eyes)
Moesha Boduong: Because he can afford to take care of me…
Amanpour: OKkkkkayhhrrrrrrrh
Moesha Boduong : He takes care of me, my financial stuff, my car, my rent, etc…
This interview didn’t sit well with most Ghanaians who took to her Instagram page to point to her how she embarrassed Ghanaian women in the interview.
rasvyrus: How can you be sleeping with peoples husbands and blame it on economy? How about our hard working women who are making it in their own small way despite the hardship. In my opinion you could have answered the question in a different and matured way because of your social status. Girl grow up!! If you chop 40 and no man marries you, who will you blame? Don’t be a home wrecker and breaker. Because of the likes of you some-of these sponsors are not taking care of their families because you scoop everything and jump to the next man. Shame on you!
