A Nigerian Twitter user has taken to the platform to reveal that he is ready to change his surname to Otedola, if billionaire daughter, DJ Cuppy is willing to marry him.
The Twitter user identified as Alofokhai Samuel, stated he’s ready to snub the tradition where the wife takes the husband name, but joyfully take up the singer’s surname if she ever considers him.
According to him, he doesn’t care about tradition and his ancestors will be at peace with his decision.
In his words,
“If Dj Cuppy and I get married, to hell with tradition and history, I’m changing my surname to Otedola… My ancestors will be alright”
