Veteran Nollywood actor, Richard Mofe-Damijo otherwise known as RMD, is currently under fire on social media over his comment about marriage.
The actor paid a visit to the Naija Hood Rep reality show and addressed the contestants on the topic of Marriage.
While speaking to them, the 60-year-old actor advised the female contestants to do whatever they want to do because the era where a woman is defined by marriage and having children has passed.
According to him, women can go ahead to have children out of wedlock if they so desire because marriage is no longer important.
His words, “The time that marriage used to define a woman has passed. The time that being a mother defines the woman has passed. If it’s a mother that you want to be, go ahead and be the mother.”

The video shared online by media personality, Daddy Freeze, didn’t sit well with a lot of people and they dragged RMD for the kind of advise he was giving to the younger generation.
