Nollywood actress and body positivity advocate, Monalisa Stephen has gotten her fans worried after she penned a rather disturbing note on social media.
In what seemed like a suicide note, the plus-size model stated that she would finally be free from the pain and voices.
She hinted that she was betrayed because she trusted someone too much and too quickly.
In the now-deleted post, Monalisa wrote,
“These moments before my departure, I feel more clarity than I have ever felt, finally I will be free. I will be free from the voices, from the pains, and from you”. I can’t stand betrayals. I trust too much and too quickly. This is not what I want but I can’t help it, I am just too weak. So I quit.”
Shortly after the post was taken down, her management team released a statement saying that the actress had a low moment and they would be in charge of her social media page till she’s fully well.
A while ago, Monalisa Stephen revealed that she prefers dating men who are 60 years and above.
Speaking in an interview with DailySun, the plus-sized model said if she eventually decides to get married, she would love to marry an older man.
She also disclosed that she doesn’t intend to bear children of her own and plans to go through the adoption route.
