Oyindamola, the brother of businessman IVD’s late wife, Bimbo Ogbonna, has revealed his family members did everything possible to make his sister leave her toxic marriage, but all proved abortive.
The bereaved brother, while responding to comments on his Instagram page after he called Bimbo’s husband, IVD, out accusing him of killing his sister, said his family tried all they could to make Bimbo leave IVD, including taking her to rehab, but she kept on going back to him.
According to him, Bimbo started dating IVD when she was 18 years old. He said at the time that Bimbo would give all her school fees to her lover, IVD, and eventually dropped out of school.
He said that after several failed warnings for them to stop seeing each other, Bimbo’s family took her to Abuja to live. However, IVD contacted her and told her that he was going to kill himself if she did not come back.
He said Bimbo ran down to Lagos to be with him. Oyindamola added that their family even offered to pay IVD money to stay away from young Bimbo at the time, but they continued their relationship.
He said he believes Bimbo and IVD had a blood covenant because she kept going back to him even though he allegedly tortured her in the marriage.
“We did everything this matter didn’t start from now it started form when she was 18 years droping out of school and giving him all her school fees”. He wrote in part.
