Popular Nollywood actress, Annie Idibia, has sparked reactions after she shared a cryptic post on social media.
In the post presumed to be a dig at her detractors and the so-called “perfect people,” Annie, wife of legendary singer 2Baba, highlighted the rare qualities of strong individuals like herself.
According to her, she lives her life on her own terms and does not care about the opinions of her detractors. However, should they decide to make things right, their apologies should be as loud as the disrespect they give out.
She pointed out that simple text messages cannot undo the damage they caused.
Her words,
“Dammmmmmm. This has been me for a very longgggg Time… and Still me… I wish al of una (perfect pple) well o. But I no send Una! Your apologies should be as LOUD as the disrespect !!! Text messages does not fix the evil you did n d disrespect !! But hey !!! I bin hear say “karma” is a Bi**h.”
Meanwhile, Nigerian singer, Paul Okoye’s girlfriend, Ifeoma has taken to social media to address jealous people.
Taking to her Instagram story, the model called out people who are always filled with rage whenever they see other people doing well.
According to Ifeoma, jealous people should understand that nobody was trying to spite them with their success as they did not know the struggle people faced to get to their current status.
In her words;
“When you see someone doing well, rather than let your emotions become jealousy, rage and eventually, lead to depression, see it as a form of inspiration, or a reason to keep going/ do better…
Nobody is trying to “pepper” you, you’re the one seeing it that way
And you don’t know exactly what the person had to go through to get there
It’s normal to feel bad about yourself when you feel “stuck”, and it seems someone else is doing so much better, but after sulking and hating yourself, what exactly would it solve?
That person is not your enemy”
