A father moved guests to tears with his touching message to his daughter’s groom at a wedding ceremony that held recently.
A video from the wedding that surfaced online captured the emotional moment when the father gave his daughter’s hand in marriage to her groom, accompanied by a powerful message.
In the video, as he placed his daughter’s hand in the groom’s hands, he acknowledged that he knows how much the groom loves her and prayed for the love they share to be everlasting.
However, tearfully, he pleaded that if there ever comes a time when the groom falls out of love with her, he should not hurt her but instead bring her back to him.
“If one day you ever have a change of heart, if you no longer love my daughter, please don’t hurt her. Just bring her back to me,” he said in part.
