Big Brother Naija “All Stars” housemate, Adekunle Olopade and Venita Akpofure, have confirmed that they are in a romantic relationship.
The on-show couple, who evidently have something special going on between them, officially confirmed their relationship status during the live eviction show on Sunday, August 27.
The show host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, had questioned the nature of their relationship, while referencing Angel’s claim that the 29-year-old housemate is Venita’s ‘boy toy’.
“Is he [Adekunle] your boy toy? What actually is the situation?”, Ebuka asked.
In response, Venita vehemently denied using Adekunle as her ‘boy toy’. She further clarified that he is her boyfriend and expressed her wish for their love to extend beyond the four walls of Big Brother house.
The mother of two said, “He is definitely not a boy toy. He is my boyfriend. We are starting a friendship that will hopefully extend beyond this House.”
Again, Ebuka asked, “Are you official as well?”
The 36-year-old reality TV star responded, “Yeah, I will say I am on my end but we haven’t discussed it. This [pointing to Adekunle] is my number one guy right now.”
This time, Ebuka turned to Adekunle and asked, “So, Adekunle, is she [Venita] your girlfriend? Are you her boyfriend?”
Adekunle replied, “Yes!”
