A Nigerian immigration officer has cried out anonymously after her husband ordered her to quit her job because it involved her wearing trousers.
The message which was shared on the microblogging platform X, has generated different reactions from internet users.
According to the lady, she and her husband her newly married and he made these demands a few months after their wedding.
Claiming that the outfit she wears to do her job is against his religion, though they are both Muslims.
The lady who got annoyed by her husband’s request revealed that it was her late dad who made it possible for her to work as an immigration officer and she was a lv12 officer.
Her message read;
“I work with Immigration and I just got married recently. Yesterday my husband made it clear to me that I have to stop working the job that my late father found for me. I am also a level 12 officer and he said he doesn’t like me wearing trouser. I am angry [sic]”
While some netizens flooded the comment section with their opinions, others asked her not to quit her job.
