A man has thr3atened to bre@k up with his partner if she decides to take a job offer overseas.
Apparently, the couple had been dating since school days, for six years now.
The man proposed and she said yes.
Weeks later, a job she’d tirelessly been working towards in Canada finally clicked.
Excited, she called her man and broke the good news to him.
After a long silence he said, “you know you can’t relocate. My business is here”
The lady said they could do long distance while they figured things out.
He disagreed.
She suggested they talked about it, but he concluded there was nothing else to talk about.
In his words, if she left she was choosing her career over their future.
Her defense was that, when he expanded his business to Abuja she supported him.
“That was different”, he said.
Unfortunately for him, she chose the job.
He tells her that if she does, he’d be left with no other choice but to end things with her.
Her friend asked her,
“for six years you’ve been dating this man,
and you two never had this discussion
of your passion to work and further your
studies in Canada?”
Concluding on her state of dilemma she sent the man a voice note:
“I’ve thought about it.
I’m going.
I hope you find someone who is willing
to shrink for you. I’m not her”
Since then she has refused to pick his calls.
This has left the man in limbo.
