A woman has shared an incident in which she slept through the day and forgot she had a 3-month-old baby.
Her husband wasn’t around that night so it was just her and the baby who wouldn’t sleep. She breast fed, rocked and sang to her but her eyes remained wide open.

The baby started dozing off at about 4am when the mother was battling a headache. It became worse by the hour, that she had to call her mother who lived closed by come to her aid:” Mummy abeg come carry your grandchild before your daughter runs m@d”

The mother rushed down immediately. She carried the baby, her clothes and some food and left. Immediately she stepped out the mother went straight to her bed and slept from 6am to 4pm.
When she woke up, she just picked up her phone and got busy replying customers. During that moment it totally skipped her mind that she has a baby, “normal me, the first person I would call is my mum to ask, ‘hope she didn’t disturb you?’, but this time, nothing. I was just pressing phone like single lad”.

It was after her husband called and asked about the baby that she remembered that, “I have a child!”. She quickly called her mother and the mother asked if she had forgotten that she had given birth. She stylishly replied that she had just woken up.
She confessed that till this day, she hasn’t told her husband or mum, because she still can’t believe that she forgot her own child.
“All this while… I didn’t remember I had a baby o.
Normal me, the first person I would call is my mum to ask:
“Hope she didn’t disturb you?”
But this day, nothing. I was just pressing phone like single lady.
Then my husband called and said:
“Omo mi nko?”
I said: “Omo wo?” 😭
He paused and said,
“Are you joking? Oloriire nko?”
That was when it clicked…
Ah.
I have a child.😂😂😂
I quickly called my mum and said,
“Omo yin nko?”
My mum said jokingly,
“Oti gbagbe pe o bimo abi?”
If only she knew that was exactly what happened. 😂😂
I just said,
“No oo, I just woke up.”
Till today, I’ve not told my husband.
I’ve not told my mum.
Because even me, I’m still in denial that I forgot my own child. 😂😂”
