A woman shares a frightening journey that took an unexpected turn after passengers allegedly discovered that their bus driver was intoxicated and struggling to stay awake behind the wheel.
According to her, the situation became alarming when the driver nearly hit three children who were attempting to cross the road. Passengers reportedly noticed that he appeared drunk and was dozing off while driving, putting everyone on board at risk.
Fearing for their safety, several passengers demanded that the journey be stopped immediately and considered getting off the vehicle.
Just when it seemed the trip might be abandoned, one passenger stepped forward and volunteered to take over the wheel to ensure everyone arrived safely at their destination. The volunteer was the woman’s husband.
She explained that the driver initially refused to hand over the vehicle’s key despite concerns raised by passengers. However, other passengers eventually intervened and insisted that they would not continue the journey unless someone else drove the bus.
Faced with mounting pressure, the driver reluctantly surrendered the key, allowing the woman’s husband to take control of the vehicle.
The husband then safely conveyed the passengers to their destination before returning the key to the driver afterward.
