Nigerian mum shares hilarious reply to son’s school after they asked her to pick him up at closing time (Watch)

A Nigerian mother has sparked laughter online after her amusing conversation with her son’s school following the end of the school day.

In a screenshot of the WhatsApp chat, the school politely informed her that her son, identified as Iremide, had closed for the day and asked her to come and pick him up.

Rather than rushing over, the mother jokingly replied that the school should keep him for a while.

“You people should hold him now. Is he not your child too?” she wrote, adding that she wanted to relax and would come for him later.

Her humorous response quickly caught the attention of social media users, many of whom found the exchange relatable.

While some parents admitted they had secretly wished to send such a message after a long day, others joked that the school staff willingly accepted the parents’ response.
