A lady expressed her excitement after receiving an unexpected payment from an old friend, 12 years after she helped him financially.
In her words, she initially didn’t read the message attached to the payment because he thought the alert was from one of her clients.
However, after opening the message, she discovered it was from an old Facebook friend who wanted to thank her for her kindness years earlier.
The friend reportedly reminded her that she had been there for him during one of the lowest points in his life and had sent him ₦2,000 at the time.
He then sent him money, describing it as the “ROI” on the ₦2,000 he received 12 years ago.
The man revealed that his former friend is now a tech professional living in the United States, making the unexpected gesture even more touching.
