A man took to social media to share his mother’s hilarious response after sending a video of himself at a wedding.
In their WhatsApp conversation, the man sent his mother a video showing off his well-tailored agbada while grooving and enjoying himself at the event.
Rather than simply complimenting his outfit, his mother encouraged him to use the opportunity to find a potential partner. She advised him to look out for a bridesmaid he liked and make his intentions known.
The woman also cautioned her son against being shy or frightened when approaching a lady, noting that women do not like men who lack confidence.
According to her, attending social events like weddings is one of the simple ways people meet and get to know potential partners.
However, her son found her advice amusing and jokingly suggested that she wasn’t aware of who she had raised.
Sharing the conversation online, he captioned it, “My mama no sabi who she born sha. She dey teach me how to toast woman,” implying that he already knows how to approach and talk to women without his mother’s intervention.
