A pastor’s wife who judged a lady over her indecent outfit reflected after she received similar judgment.

According to her story, prior to her wedding with her pastor-husband, they had driven to a particular junction when they came across “the most n@kedly dressed” lady she had ever seen in her life. The lady had a beach gown that exposed her back and revealed her undergarments. Seeing the lady like that p!ssed and disgusted her, that she rained !nsults on her while they drove home.

A couple of weeks later, while she stepped out in a pair of shorts to get foodstuffs, she met a certain woman who was wearing a turban over a long dress and holding a Bible at the shop. As she noticed the woman disgustingly staring at her, she realized it was because of the shorts she was wearing, and it made her piss3d and uncomfortable.

When she got home, and reflected on the incident and the lady she had judged, she became convicted. She realized that when people encounter others who are dressed in an “indecent” way, they get on their high horses to judge them. It dawned on her that it mostly not the person’s intent to s3duce people with their bodies, but the perception of the viewer. When she and her husband saw the half-dressed lady, her husband just laughed, but she insult3d the lady. She concluded that she was just projecting her insecurities; the girl had curves that could fit into the dress and she had the audacity to do it. She is not suggesting that indecency is okay dressing is okay, but whenever people critique others over their dressing, they should first ask where is that judgment is coming from.
