A man has rebuked his father for calling him out for carrying his child while his wife held a small hand bag.
The child was four months old when they decided to go visit the husband’s family.
The husband carried him in a carrier while she held a small hand bag.
On getting there, they shared pleasantries with the parents – the husband’s mother even backed the child.
When it was time to go, the husband took the baby from the mother and placed him in the carrier.
It was then that his father snapped.
That why is he the one carrying the baby? That it is the work of his wife and not his, besides she’s only having a little bag with her.
The wife, sh0cked, moved to take the baby but her husband told her to stop right there.
Turning to his father he said,
“With all due respect sir
this is my family, my wife,
my son, my future.
This is how I chose to run my home,
she carried him for 10 months,
went through so much pa!n
to bring him forth,
and now
it is my turn to also do my part”
The father responded with an apology.
There, the wife was glad she married him:
“Imagine if he had supported his dad?
many spouses don’t protect their
partners from their family members.
However you treat him or her before
your family is the exact same way
they will reciprocate.”
