Mixed reactions have trailed a viral clip shared online showing rainwater pouring into a serviced apartment in Lekki Phase 1.
The lady who shared the video on X, formerly Twitter, had disclosed that she was recording a studio session in the apartment when it began to rain indoors.
In the video, water could be seen flowing freely from the light fixtures attached to the POP ceiling, spilling onto the tiled floor and bed.
Panicked and unsure of what to do, they tried to contain the flooding while calling the management of the serviced apartment.
The tweet attached to the video read;
“It started raining just now inside a service apartment where we are recording music. This is inside Lekki phase 1 btw! Crazy!”
Since the video surfaced online, users have flooded the comment section with their opinions.
However, the lady who posted the clip is yet to reveal whether the issue was resolved or how it was handled.
Below are some of the comments;
“Y’all better be careful so you don’t get electrocuted. Please turn off everything.”
“Instead of you to get a bucket and collect clean water. You might not get a cleaner one there.”
“Developers go to the village Recruit small children, carry them to Lagos Use them to build houses and pay them peanuts And sell for egregious prices. I saw it with my eyes, questioned them, some were 14/15 Whenever it rains my apartment turns to a pool, I fix tire.”
