Davido’s cousin, Clark Adeleke has confirmed that the relationship between popular Nigerian singer, Davido and his baby mama, Chioma has indeed gone sour.
Clark made this revelation in his emotional speech at Chioma’s birthday dinner last night, after weeks of break up rumours between the “assurance lovers”.
In his speech, Davido’s cousin urged the estranged lovers to remember they were friends before anything, regardless of what happened between them.
In his words,
“No matter what happened between you and my brother remember you guys were friends before anything, and remember that you have a beautiful son together.

Actress Bukky Black has defended alleged child-molester, Baba Ijesha over his much publicized case against comedian Princess’ foster daughter.

17-year-old secondary school graduate, Victory Yinka-Banjo, was offered more than $5 million dollars’ worth of scholarship money for an undergraduate program of study, according to admission documents and estimates of financial aid awards.
“It still feels pretty unbelievable. I applied to so many schools because I didn’t even think any school would accept me,” Victory told CNN.
Born to Nigerian parents, mother Chika Yinka-Banjo, a senior lecturer at the University of Lagos, and Father Adeyinka Banjo, a private sector procurement and supply chain executive, Victory was given potential full scholarships from the Ivy League schools, Yale College, Princeton University, Harvard College, and Brown University.
Other US scholarship offers included those from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Stanford University, Johns Hopkins University and the University of Virginia.
In Canada, Victory was offered the Lester B. Pearson scholarship from the University of Toronto and the Karen McKellin International Leader of Tomorrow (KMILOT) scholarship from the University of British Columbia.
Victory, who was a senior prefect in secondary school, added: “Their admissions processes are extremely selective. They only accept the best of the best. So, you can imagine how, on a daily basis, I have to remind myself that I actually got into these schools. It is surreal!”

Online auditions for the Big Brother Naija reality television show, season 6 will take place from Monday, May 3 till Sunday, May 16, 2021.

The Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Team (DSVRT), has revealed it is actively following the Baba Ijesha alleged rape case.
Recall that the veteran actor, Baba Ijesha, has been accused of molesting a 14-year-old girl since she was seven.
In a statement released on Friday, April 30th, DSVRT says it is following up on the case and has absolute confidence in the criminal justice system in the state.
The statement reads,
This is to inform members of the public that the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Team is actively following up on the Baba Ijesha’s case, we are also in direct contact with the complainant with a view to providing the necessary support.
We confirm that the duplicate case file has been forwarded to the Directorate of Public Prosecution (DPP) for legal advice. For avoidance of doubt, the following allegations are being considered:
(1) Sexual Assault by Penetration- S 261 of the Criminal law of Lagos State, 2015 punishable by Life imprisonment
(2) Attempted Sexual Assault by Penetration-S262 of the Criminal law , punishable by 14 years imprisonment
(3) Sexual Assault- S263 of the Criminal Law, punishable by 3 years imprisonment
(4) Indecent treatment of a child- S135 of the Criminal Law punishable by 7 years imprisonment
We have absolute confidence in the criminal justice system, as well as social support structures in Lagos State in ensuring justice is served in this matter and most importantly, the survivor receives the relevant support on her journey towards healing.

Nigerian singer, Uchenna Odoh Paul aka Ogene Malaysia, has reportedly been shot dead by unknown gunmen in Awka, Anambra state.
The singer was reportedly killed on Friday, April 30, by assailants suspected to be cultists in Amansea area of Awka North LGA of the state.
Meanwhile, friends of the deceased have taken to social media to mourn his demise.

Popular Instagram comedian and social media influencer, Mr. Macaroni has taken to social media to condemn the prevailing sex for roles culture in the Nigerian movie industry.
According to the comic actor, the practice of demanding sex or bribe in exchange for a favour has become prevalent at different sectors in the country.
He stated that “sex for roles” in the creative industry has become a norm, leaving great talents who adamantly refuse to offer their bodies in exchange for favours struggling and may never find an opportunity to prove themselves.
Taking to Twitter, he wrote,

Clergyman, Ituah Ighodalo has opened up on getting married again following the untimely death of his wife, Ibidun, in June 2020.
In a recent interview on STV, the show host inquired about when his congregants should be expecting a new “Mrs Ighodalo” to support his ministry.
The Senior Pastor of Trinity House gave an humble response to the question as he revealed that he doesn’t have much to give anyone because he gave his late wife everything.
“My late wife, Ibudunni and I had a phenomenal relationship and I gave her everything, I don’t have much to give to anybody”, he said.
He added that his major focus is raising his children and his future.
A Nigerian lady has narrated the bizarre story of how she found out that a strange man has been living in her apartment and eating her food without her knowledge.
The businesswoman, identified as @CiraNzube, took to Twitter to make the shocking revelation.
She alleged that the man had a spare key to her apartment and goes in whenever she leaves for work, sleeps on her bed, eats her food and leaves the flat before she returns home.
She revealed that this has been going on for a over a year and she only just discovered, even though she had a suspicion before the man was caught.

“He’s had the key to the apartment for the past 1 year plus. He enjoys sleeping on my bed so he goes in whenever I’m out to enjoy the bed (Hey God). This man turned me into a crazy person because I couldn’t understand why gas, noodles, etc would finish so early. And he isn’t even sorry he stole.
“All he’s been saying is “I didn’t steal your money”, “I’ll beat you if you call me a thief again”, “no dey video me, I no be thief”, etc. The guts!!! Everyday is for the thief, but one day is for the owner of the house and the day for the owner is always honourable. I thank God.”

A Nigerian Twitter user has taken to the platform to raise alarm after her friend who went for a job interview in Akwa Ibom went missing.
According to the lady identified as Umoh Uduak, her friend Iniobong was invited for an interview at an undisclosed location along airport road in Uyo, on Thursday, April 29th.
About two hours later, she reportedly made a distraught phone call to Uduak, and was heard screaming before the call was abruptly ended. Her phone line has been switched off ever since.
Sharing photos and last chat with the missing friend, the Twitter user wrote,

Grandson of viral elderly woman who Bobrisky promised to help has reacted, after the crossdresser called him out and tagged him a scammer.

Recall that Bobrisky pledged to change the life of the elderly woman and her grandson after she declared her love for the crossdresser. Bob stayed true to his promise and had them flown from Calabar to Lagos.
However, Bob was called out on social media for allegedly abandoning the old woman and failing to fulfil his promise.
In a video shared on his Instagram page, Bob has responded to the allegations as he narrated what truly transpired between him and the woman’s grandson, identified as Goodluck.
She accused Goodluck of being a terrible guy and a big time scammer because he didn’t utilise the money he gave him for the intended purpose.
According to Bobrisky, he gave Goodluck N200k to fix their leaking rook in Calabar but he didn’t send any proof of fixing the roof.
Bob lambasted him for requesting for N1 million he promised them when he couldn’t account for the N200k. He added that he is not a yahoo girl or a politician and must get value for every money he spends.
