Cleaner Who Returned $10,000 Gives Allah As A Reason For His Actions.
The Nigerian cleaner working for the handling company at the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport, who shocked the internet by returning the $10,000 he found while cleaning an Egyptian aircraft, has given Allah as the reason for his actions.
In an interview with the Daily Trust, the cleaner named Ahmed Dankade said that contrary to people’s expectations the action wasn’t a difficult one for him to do.
He cited his belief in Allah and the teachings of his parents as the motivating factor for his remarkable actions. In his words;
“I have been trained not to take what does not belong to me. Anything you take unlawfully, you will be held accountable for in the hereafter.
My parents taught us to be content with whatever we have, and this upbringing made it easy for me to return the money,”
Many netizens have commended him for his actions, as they point out that returning $10,000 which was equivalent to 15 million Naira was no easy feat.
Many have called for the man to be rewarded for his actions. They advised whoever was the owner of the $10,000 to reward the man for returning the money.
