A lady has stirred up discussion on social media after a recruiter asked her to change her outfit during a job interview.

The young woman, who was excited about the opportunity, had arrived at the interview dressed in a white T-shirt, a thin jacket, and a pair of black shorts.

However, to her dismay, the recruiter requested that she go and change into something different.

Visibly frustrated, the lady took to social media to vent her frustration.

“I cannot believe that the recruiter asked me to change my interview clothes and then come back,” she said.

“I look very neat and professional, so no!”

The incident has sparked conversation online, about workplace dress codes and the perceptions surrounding attire.

Some social media users have rallied behind the lady, arguing that her outfit should not have been a factor in her qualifications for the role.

Others, however, have defended the recruiter’s decision.

Regardless of the differing opinions, the lady’s experience has since gone viral, leading to a wave of mixed reactions, and debates online.

A Nigerian lady has expressed displeasure over the pitiful state of her sneakers after her neighbor had worn them for an occasion.

The lady who identifies as @classicdsmith stated that she lent her neighbour her colourful sneakers for an occasion but the borrowed sneakers returned resembling bleached footwear.

She revealed a picture of herself wearing the sneakers for her sign-out day, which she wore twice before lending her neighbour.

The lady mentioned that her neighbour refused to return the sneakers after two days, leaving no choice but to crash her neighbor’s house.

The aftermath of the borrowed sneakers is evidence that her neighbour probably soaked the coloured sneakers in bleach.

Internet users claim the lady purchased fake sneakers while others advise against giving out her personal belongings.

A Nigerian lecturer receives accolades online for generously gifting his students in class money for their breakfast.

The video that a student of his had made when the lecturer was distributing cash to the students has now gone viral, with many pleasantly surprised at the man’s good deed.

The students who were obviously studying law judging by their black and white dress code, were seen flaunting the money received to the camera.

It was speculated that the students might have impressed the man by arriving early to the tutor’s class or coming at an uncomfortable fixed time. Some suspected the class might have been an impromptu one.

Either way, the lecturer has unanimously collected the ‘Lecturer of the Year’ award online from netizens who saw the man as a breath of fresh air from the stereotypical Nigerian lecturers.

There are a few exceptions though as a netizen, @Clara Chiaka would say, “I know one lecture in my dept that can do that …. Chiamaka Faith Orji Adaezem Ugo guess the lecturer” to which @Adaezem Ugo responded, “yes oo Prof O”.

Online outrage has trailed a certain job posting made by a Facebook user, Jesuit Miracle Chinwendu, offering to pay thirty thousand naira for a live-in maid.

Among those who found the pay offensive is a Facebook influencer by the name of Brian Jonah Dennis who gave a counter-post saying, “If I’m working as a maid in your house in this economy and you pay me N30k per month, I will sleep with your husband”

A lady has taken to social media to share how her husband messed up the kitchen after cooking spaghetti for lunch, leaving the kitchen utensils unclean.

In the video shared online, the lady @tasha_ikem expressed gratitude towards her husband’s cooking effort but felt irritated with the state he left the kitchen after cooking lunch for the family.

Revealing in the video, several kitchen utensils were displayed on the cabinet, creating a mess in the area. The number of kitchen utensils used in cooking the spaghetti made it resemble the aftermath of cooking for a party.

The lady was in dilemma of whether or not to lament over the untidy kitchen with unclean utensils.

Many wondered about the situation of the kitchen if her husband had cooked a local delicacy while others suggested she correct her husband.
