Susan Waya, mother of Big Brother Naija evicted housemate, Kiddwaya, has stated that her son’s love interest Erica, is a sweet lady as she finally reached out to her.

Mrs Waya, who spoke with Erica on phone, described the evicted BBNaija housemate as a “sweet lady”, adding that their conversation lasted for about 10 minutes.

She disclosed this to The Boss, a newspaper owned by Dele Momodu, on Monday.

Kidd’s mum, who lives in Essex, United Kingdom, revealed that she’s looking forward to meeting Erica.

In her words,

“She’s such a sweet lady… I’m looking forward to meeting her and can’t wait to see my son very soon in Lagos.”

However, Kiddwaya’s billionaire father earlier revealed that his son’s beau, Erica has not been picking his calls or responding to his messages.

He made this disclosure in an exclusive interview with BBC News Pidgin on Instagram. The billionaire said that he tried reaching Erica after her disqualification to encourage and empathize with her, but she refused to take his calls.

He said in pidgin,

“I con send message to her to tell her to take am easy, that it is not the end of the world because since she left she has not been taking calls, so I sent her a text message to calm down and Kiddwaya’s senior brother is talking to her, so that is not a problem.

“At least she con show my son love for there, so personally I don’t have a problem with her”.

Sanwo-Olu, Amaechi visit train crash site in Oshodi

The Lagos state governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Minister of Transportation, Hon. Rotimi Amaechi payed a visit to the scene of the tragic accident involving a train and a vehicle on Monday, Sept 15.

The accident occurred around 8am on Monday Morning.

According to the DG of Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, the passenger bus with registration number GGE 972 GE veered onto the train tracks while crossing the rail at PWD inward Oshodi, Lagos. The bus was then dragged along for a stretch of the journey before the train managed to come to a complete halt.

Quick responders from the agency was able to successfully extricate the passengers. Six people sustained minor injuries and were provided with on-site medical care while two males were severely injured and were taken to LASUTH for further treatment. Two of the passengers unfortunately lost their lives in the accident.

Sanwo-Olu sympathised with the families of the victims, describing the accident as regrettable.

This accident happened on the day stakeholders reached a consensus to close the gates into the arena at the railway line because of safety concerns.

Big Brother Naija Lockdown housemate, Ozo has stated that he is presently pissed at his love interest, Nengi.

This is coming after the relationship between the two housemates became very sour with Ozo complaining about the fact that Nengi never congratulated him for surviving Sunday night eviction.

Ozo made this revelation in a conversation with vee.

In his words,

“I am so pissed at Nengi. I had my bath, talked with Dorathy for a while, Nengi came in and saw us talking and she dropped the pictures of me that I gave to her on my bed and didn’t speak to me again.”

Meanwhile, Nengi has earned herself a spot in the grand finale of the year’s edition after emerging the Head of House on Monday.

After a fierce competition with five other housemates, Nengi emerged as winner of this week’s challenge and will now be the Head of the house for the penultimate week of the fifth edition of the series.

Nengi now has immunity from this week’s eviction process and has access to the executive Head of House lounge and all of the benefits that comes with it.

Super Eagles defender, Kenneth Omeruo and his wife, Chioma, have welcomed their second child.

The new father took to his Instagram page to share the news of the arrival of his daughter. He praised his wife for blessing him with the priceless gift.

Sharing photos of his newborn daughter, the excited father wrote,

“Another reason to be grateful to God. Thank you, my superwoman @oma_omeruo, it will take the grace of God to stop oh if u keep giving me gorgeous kids like this. I Love you”.

The couple had their traditionally marriage on December 30th, 2017, and their white wedding on May 15th, 2018.

22 year old girl makes miraculous recovery after jumping from eighth-floor balcony to escape abusive boyfriend

A 22 year old lady, Georgia Brodrick, who is a dancer, miraculously recovered after she hurled herself off the eighth-floor of a building in a desperate attempt to escape her abusive boyfriend.

According to the Daily Mail Australia, Brodrick beckoned on her dad on the morning of July 17 from her apartment in Melbourne, Australia, begging him to come and pick her up.

She had just found out her boyfriend had cheated on her despite his physical abuse towards her. When she waited for dad her and he didn’t make it on time she jumped off the balcony and landed on a fence, with her body bouncing into a nearby ditch.

She was rushed to the hospital where she was reportedly put into an induced coma for emergency surgery. Her injuries were so bad that doctors gave her just a 10% chance of survival, as she spent three weeks on the trauma ward being fed through a tube.

She miraculously survived, although she has no memory of the traumatic moments before she jumped. She’s with her family as she recuperates.

She’s now bravely opened up about the emotional abuse she suffered at the hands of her ex.

“If I tried to leave him he would sit at the front door and wouldn’t let me out of the apartment,” she said

“My family tried to warn me because they could see through his manipulation, so he constantly put them down and blamed them for my insecurities.

“He made me feel like he was the only person who truly loved me.”

Recall that, yesterday Davido replied a Twitter follower who criticized his latest single,Fem.

According to the critic, Davido’s latest song, Fem is not really worth the hype, and Davido just pulled the biggest heist on YouTube with the song.

The critic identified as Seyi OG on the platform said,

A lady has taken to Twitter to share a very bizarre story of how a lady was rushed to the emergency room after her dog allegedly tore her vagina.

According to her, she got the information from her friend at the emergency room (ER).

It was alleged that the patient makes her dog perform cunnilingus on her occasionally, but on this unfortunate day, she was forcing the dog to go faster when it tore her skin.

The twitter user with handle @missy_onix wrote,

Lung cancer patient caught while allegedly sneaking out of hospital to smoke

A Nigerian doctor has recounted the interestingly odd encounter with a lung cancer patient at a hospital.

The doctor Identified as @drpenking on Twitter, revealed that the patient who has lung cancer attempted to sneak out as early as 5am to smoke.

He said the patient tried heading to the back of the ward to attempt smoking weed (Igbo) but was intercepted in the process.

@Drpenking who highlighted what doctors usually go through, pointed out that “Nigerian patients will frustrate you.”

In his words,

“Patient with Lung Cancer was caught sneaking behind ward to smoke igbo by 5 a.m. Nigerian patients will frustrate you.”

In other news, Another medical doctor identified as Drlotenna on Twitter, recently took to the platform to recount the story of a female doctor, that was beaten and stabbed by a patients father on the claim that she was wasting his child’s blood.

Drlotenna narrated the ordeal, as he discussed the “hazards” medical doctors are exposed to.

He wrote,

“The kind of hazards Drs are exposed to is staggering! In Nigeria, added to the well known hazards, we have assault from patient relatives added! A female Dr was slapped & stabbed with a syringe (of unknown origin & use) in our Children Emergency by a patient’s father. For what?

“The young Registrar on call took a blood sample from the man’s child and asked him to take it to the lab. The lab scientists (as they sometimes do) said the sample was inadequate. The man returned angry. “Where is that Dr that is wasting my child’s blood?” Gbas gbas gbos.

Nollywood actress, Onyii Alex has shared her observation on the double standard approach in how celebrities and reality TV stars are judged.

According to her, the reality show contestants are celebrated and applauded after going naked or fornicating on TV, while the same yardstick is not used to judge random women or celebrities who pose nude on Instagram.

She said those housemates come out as idols, legends, kings and queens after doing questionable things on the show, while random people are labelled “prostitutes” for doing the same thing.

A Nigerian bride simply identified as Titi has gone viral after a video of her mother presenting her with a car as a wedding gift was shared online.

After the exchange of vows with her husband, Titi’s mum asked her and her beau to come out of the church and presented the car gift to them.

She expressed her utmost delight in her daughter and described Titi as more than a daughter, more than a friend and more than a sister to her.

The mother who spoke in Yoruba said her daughter is well deserving of the gift as she has lived with her, loved her, served her, made her proud, accepted and served Jesus along with her.

Titi, who couldn’t hide her joy got all emotional and broke down in tears as her mother eulogized her.

Shy away from people who prematurely announce your greatness – actress, Ireti Doyle advises

Nollywood veteran actress, Ireti Doyle has taken to twitter to pen down words of advise to her fans and followers.

In her tweet, Ireti stated that one should stay away from people who prematurely announce their greatness because there is much to be gained from the learning ropes. She added that without being baked to the right degree, one can leave even before they arrive.

In her words,

“Shy away from people who prematurely announce your “greatness”… There’s much to be gained from learning the ropes, starting from the bottom up and being baked to the right degree. Otherwise, you leave before you even/ever arrive”.

The Nigerian writer, recently shared her thoughts on the new habit of people bringing their private issues to public space, Twitter, in a bid to be heard or get some sort of justice.

According to the veteran thespian, Nigerian Twitter is less about justice and is focused more on destruction.

Her tweet reads,

“With the exception of a few small but mighty spaces truly out here doing the Lord’s work, Twitterng is very rarely about justice. It is about destruction. Know this, know peace and tread accordingly”.

Passengers narrowly escape death as bus rams into moving train in Lagos

Many passengers narrowly escaped death in Lagos on Monday when a bus rammed into a moving train in the Oshodi area of the state.

The Director-General of Lagos State Emergency Management Agency Dr. Femi Oke-Osantintolu, who confirmed the incident said the situation which happened around 8.am, had been brought under control with no loss of life recorded.

In his words,

“The agency received distress calls on the above. Upon arrival at the scene, it was discovered that a passenger bus with registration number GGE 972 GE, had veered onto the train tracks while crossing the rail at PWD inward Oshodi, Lagos.

“The bus was then dragged along for a stretch of the journey before the train managed to come to a complete halt.

“Subsequently, the agency was able to successfully extricate the passengers and note that there was no loss of life.”

Similarly, The Lagos State Traffic Management Autorithy (LASTMA), announced the accident via its Twitter account.

LASTMA tweeted,

“A train ran into a Volkswagen T4 bus at the ARENA crossing, pushing it to Oshodi U-bridge. Onlookers causing more harm than good. Men on ground, Necessary Agencies.”
