BBNaija housemate, Laycon has reacted to insults he received from fellow housemate and former ‘bestie’, Erica, just after the Saturday night party.

Erica after Saturday night confronted Laycon over his claim that she tried to kiss him twice. SHe could only affirm one of such time she tried to, but only happened because she was drunk.

She asks him to pin point the other time she tried to kiss in the house, which must have caused last night brawl between the former best friends

Angered by his refusal to address the situation, Erica called Laycon ‘ugly and broom stick’ who has nothing to offer. She said he is using her to trend because he is manipulative and ugly.

According to her, she was only attracted to his brain but his brain is wicked. However, Laycon remained silent and did not engage Erica.

Reacting to the development, Laycon said he was not bothered by the insults Erica rained at him.

“If you claim to know me, you will know I don’t argue with people and when I say I don’t want to address anything, I mean it.

“Insult will not remove money from my bank account, I will just watch you insult me and be quiet,” he stated.

BBNaija lockdown housemate, Erica has said she doesn’t care if she is disqualified from the reality TV show.

Erica made this statement on Sunday morning after the drama between her and Laycon.

Erica is on the verge of being disqualified from BBNaija show for threatening Laycon and making some derogatory remarks on Saturday night.

The actress, who seems not to be bothered if issued a third strike and disqualified, told Kiddwaya that the reality show will be boring when she leaves.

In her words,

“Big Brother is boring without me. I’m tired and I know I will go home tomorrow.

“The show will be boring when they have diplomatic stupid people like Prince,” Erica added.

Recall that, Erica after the Saturday Night Party on the 5th of September, lost her cool and confronted Laycon over a comment Ebuka made last Sunday.

Ebuka had quizzed Laycon about ‘his claims’ where he explained to Vee how Erica tried to kiss him after one of their Saturday Night party. Laycon had told Ebuka and the house that he believes Erica tried to kiss him because she was intoxicated.

And now, it’d seem as though Erica may have not gotten over Laycon’s comments.

“Idiot, Short fool. Chicken. Your whole body is like a drumstick of chicken. Right now your brain is evil, so I’m not attracted to anything about you. Stop talking about me. Idiot.”

“That thing that Ebuka said last week is still botherig me. You keep telling me, you’re not ready to talk about it. It’s almost a week.. Are you still being a p***y. 1 week. That’s because he’s scared. He’s f*****g scared, because he knows he lied.. He cannot back it up. 1 week has passed, he has not backed up the claim that I tried to kiss him, at what point did I try to kiss you? You fool, Laycon.. As skinny and ugly as you are, at what point am I gon be attracted to you. How will I be attracted to you? Idiot.”

Face mask suffocates security guard to death in Abeokuta

A 50-year-old security guard identified as Solomon Ede has died after he allegedly slept wearing his face mask in his place of work in Alako area of Abeokuta, Ogun state on Friday, August 28.

The Nation reports that Solomon was well known in the area for never failing to wear his face mask as part of measures to protect himself from contracting the dreaded Coronavirus.

However, on Friday, the security guard had a few glasses of local gin popularly known as Ogogoro before going to bed and slept with his face mask on.

His lifeless body was discovered face down, suggesting that he died of suffocation from the face mask.

Neighbors who came to fetch water at the compound of the house where the deceased worked, banged on the gate of the building endlessly but late Solomon did not come out to grant them access to the tap.

It was said that, the noise at the gate of the building alerted Solomon’s boss who opened the gate for the visitors and decided to check on Ede in his room.

The boss noticed that the door was locked so he forced it open only to find Ede lying face down on the bed lifeless and with his face mask in place. The boss was said to have raised the alarm which attracted other residents to the building, with many blaming the deceased’s tragic death on his obsession with alcohol.

A source said,

“But for the noise from those who came to fetch water in the early hours of the day, no one would have known that a tragedy had occurred.

It was when the deceased failed to come out of his apartment to attend to those fetching water in the premises of the house that his boss came out and discovered his body.”

Shocked by the discovery, the deceased’s employer reported the matter to a police division at Kemta, Idi Aba.

Residents of the area claim the deceased took to alcohol after suffering depression. He was said to have been warned by his employer and others to desist from his habitual abuse of alcohol.

A resident who spoke on condition of anonymity revealed that people advised the Late man to remove his face mask before going to bed.

He said,

“He usually removed his face mask before going to bed. But he took some ogogoro late in the evening and was downcast. Those who saw him at the entrance of his apartment asked him to remove the mask on his face and go to bed, but he refused.

”However, he went to bed forgetting to remove his face mask and slept face down. He was probably choked to death by the face mask”

According to these reports, the couple weren’t able to resolve the differences they have, thus leading the latter to move out of their home with his son, in the United States.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Lagos zonal office, has arrested 13 suspected internet fraudsters, around the Alagbado axis of Lagos State.

The suspects are Olowosoke Temidire; Oladoyin Tolulope; Adeyemi Toyese Jubril; Agbeluyi Olusola; Olayinka Azeez; Abdullahi Olalekan; Gbenga Ade; Nwokeso Innocent; Obodoukwu Godstime; Mba Emmanuel; Oluwadare Ibisiola, Damilola Ogunsemire and Christopher Ubong

The suspects were arrested on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 by operatives of the Commission at Plot 109 Obas Street off AIT Estate, Lagos State, and some other areas within the axis, following credible intelligence received from concerned members of the public on their criminal activities.

In a recent post, Nengi and Ozo expressed their wish to use one of the condoms in the house as it keeps reducing each day without knowing those who use it.

Ivorian plus-sized model, Eudoxie Yao has talked about her relationship with small sized Guinean musician, Grand P.

Popularly referred to as “African Kim Kardashian” on social media, Yao said she doesn’t care what trolls tell her online, as she is seriously in love with the popular small statured Guinean musician.

Grand P, with real name Moussa Sandiana Kaba, was born with progeria, an extremely rare genetic disorder that has affected his physical stature.

Since Yao and Grand P came public with their relationship, netizens have been trolling them saying that the loved-up couple are only together as a marketing stunt for the musician while some claim she is with the musician for money.

Eudoxie Yao maintains that her relationship with the musician is strong, and that “size does not matter”. Videos shared on their social media pages shows the pair swamped by photographers when out in public in their countries.

Taking to Instagram, where she boasts nearly one million followers, Eudoxie wrote: “We are happy together, and this is the most important thing.

“Thank you, everyone, for your support.

“I was sent by God to kill him” – Pastor who murdered native doctor reveals

A 21-year-old self acclaimed pastor who murdered a native doctor has revealed that it was God who sent him to do it.

The pastor, identified as Uchenna Chukwuma, has been apprehended by the Anambra police command, for reportedly killing a native doctor, Oliver Chukwudi Ugwu, 60, in Umusiome Nkpor, Idemili North LGA.

It is reported that the suspect who hails from Amagunze in Nkanu East LGA of Enugu, committed the crime on Thursday, Sept. 4, 2020 and claimed that he was sent by God to kill the native doctor .

He further alleged that the victim was disturbing him spiritually and did not allowed him to progress financially.

According to the State’s Police Spokesperson,Haruna Mohammed , police detectives were alerted of the crime and quickly rushed to the scene and found the victim in a pool of blood .

They rushed him to Iyi Enu hospital, where he was certified dead by medical personnel .

He further stated that the machete used in perpetrating the crime was recovered as exhibit and investigations are ongoing to unravel the circumstances surrounding the incident while the deceased’s body has been deposited in the morgue .

University student attempts suicide over Inability to marry President Buhari’s daughter, Hanan

A young man identified as Abba Ahmad has been talked out of the ending his own life over his inability to marry President Buhari’s daughter, Hanan.

Abba, 22, who has been thrilled by Hanan’s beauty and educational qualifications, has been sending her marriage proposals via social media.

The 400-level Accounting student of the North West University, Kano said ;

“I am in love with her (Hanan Buhari) because of her beautiful face, her level of education and integrity of her father (Buhari).

“I tried informing her but I don’t know whether the messages got to her.”

When asked why he posted about committing suicide if Hanan goes ahead with her marriage to Turad Sha’aban, he said;

“I just said it.”

Police Commissioner Habu Sani and a Police Imam counselled him. It was further learnt that Police spokesman Frank Mba spoke with Ahmad on telephone for 6 minutes, 6 seconds, convincing him not to commit suicide even if he did not marry the President’s daughter. Mba also reminded Ahmad that his religion preaches against suicide.

The suicidal man thanked the Police after the counselling and also expressed desire to join the Force because of the “friendly manner” the Police treated his case.

Yusuf courageously started on his own with only 7 cubes of Maggi , 4 sachets of curry powder and Onga .

Ex-Super Eagles Defender, Babalade Ajibade, Dies of cardiac arrest

Ex- super eagles defender, Ajibade Olaniran Babalade , has died.

He died in Ibadan as a result of cardiac arrest, on Friday , September 4,2020, according to the Nigeria Football Federation. The 53-year-old defender , played for the team between 1990-1998.

A close family friend of the deceased told TheCable that the ex-footballer died on Friday in Ibadan, Oyo state capital.

“I can confirm to you that he died from cardiac arrest around 11am today,” the source said.

“He was the one that drove himself to the hospital yesterday that he was not feeling too good.

“On getting to the hospital, after taking his vitals, the doctor told him he had to be admitted because of his blood pressure, which was high. And it was what the medical personnels in the hospital was trying to work on.

“Until this morning, when the boy that stayed with him in the hospital saw the way he was breathing, he had to call his elder brother who rushed down to the hospital to see for himself.

“It was the elder brother that now called for his immediate discharge and referral to UCH. It was at the entrance to UCH that he breathe his last.

“I feel so pained that my friend is gone. I am heartbroken and devastated. Just yesterday here, he still posted his first son’s picture on his Facebook to wish him happy birthday.

“May his soul Rest In Peace.”

Big Brother Naija ‘lockdown’ housemate and current HOH, Erica has bemoaned her struggles with sharing a bed with Prince instead of her romantic partner, Kiddwaya.

When Erica won this week’s HOH games, Kiddwaya was ineligible/barred from competing or having access into the lounge as a deputy and due to that reason, Erica chose Prince to be her Deputy.

Speaking during her diary session, Erica said she has a good interpersonal relationship with Prince who she chose as her deputy head of house but faces difficulty in sleeping next to him.

Angry man storms bank, demands for all the money in his account over poor services (Video)

Hell was let loose at an FCMB bank branch in Owerri, Imo State after a customer stormed the bank and demanded for all the money in his account.

In a video making the rounds on social media, the angry customer could be seen exchanging words with the staff of the bank.

He demanded that they pay him all his money, while blasting the staff of the bank over poor services to customers.

“Give me my money now. Have I ever made trouble before? You people are tampering with my temper, is it your money”, he screamed.

Man withdraws his engagement ring via social media

A Delta State businessman identified as Elliot Lions, has publicly renounce his engagement to girlfriend via social media.

Elliot took to Facebook to announce his disengagement notice after publicly engaging his girlfriend, Success Oyoviwkose at a party.

Stating the reason the for his action simply as “abuse of engagement”, Elliot stated that he has withdrawn the engagement ring and wishes to have nothing more to do with Success.

He further warned that henceforth, no one should call or attach her name to his.

He wrote,

“Special announcement to the general public That I Elliot Ihwia have openly withdrawn my engagement ring? from Success Oyoviwkose . nor in anywhere regards her with me or call her joined my name’s any kind ???, Abuse of engagement”.

In another news, a lady recently said a hurtful ”NO” to her lover who bent the knee to propose marriage to her.

The lady’s answer sent shock waves down the nervous system of the young man and he immediately became so emotional as he wept over the love of his life.
