A 12-year-old girl resurrected just as her family were preparing to bury her after she was pronounced dead at the hospital in Indonesia

Siti Masfufah Wardah was admitted to a hospital in Probolinggo in the Indonesian province of East Java for chronic diabetes and organ complications on August 18. She was pronounced dead at 6pm that evening.

Her body was taken to her family home an hour later to allow her relatives clean her, according to traditional Islamic funeral traditions.

But just as they were beginning to clean the body, Siti’s eyes opened and she woke up.

Her father, identified as Ngasiyo, 40, has described the shocking moment when his daughter came back from the dead.

“And her closed eyes suddenly reopened. And we found her heart was beating again and her body moved.Doctors were called to the scene and began giving Siti respiratory assistance and oxygen to help her breathe.

“Sadly,her resurrection didn’t last long and she died — again — an hour later. Her body was washed and she was buried in the Lambangkuning Village Cemetery. He added.

Lumbang Police Chief AKP Muhammad Dugel confirmed the incident after visiting the family home.

“It’s true that there was an incident where the girl died and came back to life, after previously being treated at the Dr Mochamad Saleh Regional Hospital,

“It’s believed Siti’s short second life was the result of what’s known as return of spontaneous circulation (ROSC), also called “Lazarus syndrome”.

This phenomenon sometimes occurs in people who have died of heart failure, and usually happens about 10 minutes after someone is confirmed dead following CPR.

New videos currently serving rounds show at least 3 police officers kneeling on a Spanish man to hold him down during an arrest in Port Arthur, Texas.

As can be seen in the video, the officers are holding the Spanish man named Omar down and one of the officers kneels on his face.

While still holding him down, they order him to move over — since he couldn’t move because he was being held down, they forcefully pushed him and his face smashed into the pavement, making a loud sound.

Observers who try to caution police to treat him gently are warned off by a 4th police officer. One of the police officers is heard warning them that there will be consequences if they cross a line to come to Omar’s aid.

The video is one in a series of recent videos showing cases of police brutality in America that appears not to have abated, in spite of all the Black Lives Matter protests.

This recent video has led Black people to add that Brown lives matter too, while asking police to treat Brown people with respect.

Lagos State Government has arraigned a boat driver identified as Happiness Elebiju over the death of 12 passengers aboard his boat in Ilashe waterfront community in July.

Elebiju was arraigned with a 10 count charge bordering on involuntary manslaughter caused by exceeding the capacity of his boat on Monday, August 24.

He pleaded not guilty to the charges before Justice Josephine Oyefeso of the Lagos State High Court sitting in Ikeja and has been remanded at a correctional center.

The Director of Prosecution, Mrs Olayinka Adeyemi informed the court that the state was ready for trial and have two witnesses ready to testify against the defendant.

However, the defense counsel asked the court for time to prepare for the trial.

Justice Josephine Oyefeso adjourned the case till Thursday August 27 for the commencement of the trial.

A security man has been caught defiling an 8 year-old daughter of a pastor in Asaba, Delta state.

According to reports, the man was caught in the terrible act on Saturday, August 22nd in an uncompleted building, close to the girl’s residence.

It was gathered that the security man has been seen entering the uncompleted building with the young girl multiple times, but residents were unsure of what he does with the girl, until he was caught.

The suspect was tied up naked and beaten by residents, before he was taken to the police station for further investigation.

However, the victim’s parent have decided not to press charges against the security man to prevent traumatizing the child.

A Nigerian pastor identified as Mekaowulu Izuchukwu, has sparked up a lot of reactions on social media after he said that,pastors who divorce their wives can’t continue to do the work of God.

He made this statement in a Facebook post he shared on the platform.

In his words, “Any pastor that divorced his wife and marries another person has no business on the pulpit of God, pastoral work begins at home”.

According to Izuchuckwu men of God who cannot keep their homes, can’t handle the business of God.

He added that, a man of God has to wait for his estranged wife to return to him even if she is the one that walked out of their marriage.

Izuchuckwu’s statement has stirred up a debate as many Facebook users took to the comment section, to state their stance on the topic.

A Facebook user,Alexander Ibrahim Nuhu said he disagreed with the pastors statement and quoted a bible passage to back up is claims.

In his words,

“I disagree with u in some instance, by the way, look at the bible
1 Corinthians 7:15 But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases: but God hath called us to peace”.

Another user, Pan Andrews said that,

“I agree. But what if a pastor whose wife leaves him and refuses to reconcile? I saw this happen to a minister I knew…?

The clergyman responded by saying, a pastor has to endure whatever marital challenge is thrown at him, adding that its part of his temptation.

In his words,

“its part of his trials and temptations he has to endure, it happened to Benny Hinn, but after many years his wife came back, so he should be patient and by God’s grace, he would overcome, let him never consider remarrying”.
