Nigerian stand-up comedian, Alibaba has revealed that a typical Nigerian would prefer a bad leader from his tribe, to a good leader from another tribe.
The 55-year old strongly believes that Nigerians would choose having someone from their tribe in power, over good leadership.
The Ace comedian took to his Instagram page to share his thought.
According to him, the problem Nigeria is facing, resulted from people always choosing someone from their tribe over good leadership.
He wrote, “A typical Nigerian prefers a bad leader from his tribe than a good leader from other tribe. This is how our problem started”.
“Someone share this… hmmmm. Very deep. Begs the question, “Would you rather a man from your ethnic group flies your plane and crashes or anyone from any tribe that can fly and land?”. He added.
A man identified as Murtala Muhammad, has been rescued by men of the Kano State Police Command after being locked up in a room by his father for 30 years.
The development comes four days after the police rescued one Ibrahim Lawan, a man held captive by his father for 15 years in the same city.
Muhammad, a resident of Kofar Fada in Rogo Local Government Area of Kano State, was rescued by the police and Human Rights Network on Thursday.
Comrade AA Haruna Ayagi, Executive Director of Human Rights Network, said Muhammad was 25 years old when he was locked up in the house.
The 55-year-old victim was said to have been chained because he is mentally ill.

Zaidu Haruna, a final year student of Nassarawa State University studying Biology Education, lost his life while attempting to save a trader who was being electrocuted at the GSM village in Keffi on August 17.
We gathered that the mobile phone repairer, Junauda Shaibu was about to carry his work tools when he was electrocuted by a high tension wire. Zaidu had attempted to rescue Junauda when he also got electrocuted and died in the process.

Erica was asked to tell a personal story and how it made her feel.
According to her, someone contacted her on Instagram saying they have same surname and look alike, and that she would like to meet up with her when she comes to Nigeria.
Erica explained how she thought she was meeting just a random Instagram friend, but ended up finding out that the person’s father is her dad’s nephew.
A Briton, Jocelyn Horne, is left devastated after discovering her beloved pet dog ate up her savings when she wasn’t at home.
According to dog lover who hails from the Isle of Man, she initially thought her boyfriend named Allan Kinrade was playing a prank on her when he disclosed that their dog had chewed up her savings pot on her bedside table.
Jocelyn upon reaching her home said she only saw a £20 (10,000 naira) bill lying on the floor next to her dog, Peggy and that was when she realized her £100 (51,000 naira) savings was really gone.
According to her, the 10-month-old pet poodle Peggy has a passion for chewing anything and everything that hits the floor. She said upon seeing remnants of the dog’s havoc she didn’t know whether to ‘laugh or cry’.

Jocelyn said: ‘’I keep my bedroom door closed because of her [Peggy] and I came in and could just see a single piece of £20 on my bed. ‘I searched high and low, couldn’t find anything else and thought there’s no way she’s eaten £100 – she couldn’t have.
‘’I actually thought it was my boyfriend playing a joke on me as he kept laughing and I was still adamant that I must’ve misplaced it.’

A CCTV footage of a couple having sex in a newly-opened cinema, has been making rounds on the internet.
The unidentified couple were caught on camera having sex in the front row of the cinema.
Security footage from what is said to be a UK cinema was shared to Twitter, where it has since gone viral.
In the video, the woman, who is naked from her waist down appears to straddle her lover as he sat on a cinema seat. They then get down to business, seemingly oblivious to the CCTV system above.
The video was posted with the caption: “Who does this and you people don’t think you’ll get caught. We check the cameras darlin!!!”

A Nigerian Twitter user, with username Chemmzyk , recently took to the platform to share a photo of a man, she claimed is the boyfriend to Big Brother Naija Lockdown housemate, Nengi.
According to her, the alleged boyfriend is the reason Nengi told Ozo, noot to mistake their closeness for a relationship.

The Port-Harcourt zonal office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, have arrested arrested four students of the University of Port Harcourt for their alleged involvement in internet fraud.
The four young men, who allegedly defrauded 15 victims of $111,500( One Hundred and Eleven Thousand, Five Hundred United States Dollars) are: Prince Hyacinth; Rex Emadifie Oghene, Odili Ifeayi and Uduak Samuel Williams.
They were arrested on August 20th, 2020, from their hideout at Chibiak Avenue, Elenpranwo, Ada George, Port Harcourt.
A preliminary investigation established that the suspects are majorly involved in a romance scam and also act as pickers for organized ring of fraudsters.

A Kano State High Court, have ordered that a woman, identified as Saratu Ya’u, be taken to a psychiatric hospital to a undergo a test, after she allegedly killed her five-year-old son.

The 27-year-old woman killed her son identified as Buhari Abubakar, on June 12, 2018 at Sabon Birni village in the Gwarzo Local Government Area of Kano State.
The court order was given on Wednesday, 19th of August, 2020.
The Judge, Ibrahim Karaye, adjourned the case until October 8, 2020, when the medical report from the test would be ready.

The Marlian president signed Torilyna Keeche, with the stage name Torikeeche, a singer, songwriter and also a producer, today, August 20, 2020.
Torikeeche joins Zinoleesky, Mohbad, Cblack, Fabian, who were the first of artistes signed to the record label as well as Lyta, who was signed few weeks back.

According to her, the house is a house of suffering and pestilence because they wash their clothes with their hands, they have Indomie all the time, they party with Orijin and there are rats in the house.
