Big Brother Naija 2018 housemate, Teddy A has taken to social media to drum reveal his admiration for this year’s housemate, Kiddwaya.
The self-proclaimed Alpha-male made this known in a tweet he posted on Sunday, July 26.
According to him, the billionaire’s son, Kiddwaya got “that Alpha vibe”.

Nigerian media personality, Toke Makinwa has refuted online reports claiming her Ikoyi home been repossessed by the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria, AMCON.

Big Brother Naija ‘lockdown’ housemates contested for the Head of House position for the second week and this time, Lucy emerged the overall winner.

Earlier today, news made the rounds that Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh has finally forgiven her ex-husband, Olakunle Churchill, for the sake of their child, King Andre.
She disclosed this during an interview with journalist, Dele Momodu on the importance of forgiveness, adding that she has come to realize that forgiveness is not about the next person but about oneself. Read about it here

The Imo State police command has apprehended a couple with names, Goodluck Ogbuji, 28 and Benita Ogbuji, 26 for allegedly inflicting severe injuries on their eight old child who bought N100 worth of Akara (bean cake), instead of N50 in Umudagu Mbieri, Imo State.
According to the police command, they effected the arrest after they were led by two journalists, Chidiebube Okeoma and Harriet Ijeomo to the couple’s residence at Umudagu Mbieri in the Mbaitoli Local Government Area of the state.
The arrest of the couple was sequel to a social media post which showed pictures of the severe injuries inflicted on the boy identified as Wisdom.
The Journalists who took photos of the injured boy upon arrival at the residence, stated that Wisdom has been out of school since 2019 and has be suffering physical abuse from his parents.
Okeoma narrating the story, said,
“We got information that a couple dehumanised and almost killed their houseboy because he bought bean cake of N100 instead of N50.We made inquiries through social media and we got their house address. We mobilised policemen to the place in the early hours of Thursday and got the wicked couplea rrested and rescued the child”
“They have been detained at the Orji Police Division, while the boy is being taken care of by the policemen. The level of injuries inflicted on the boy is wicked. We are seeking justice for the child. We want the couple to be prosecuted. The boy has been out of school since 2019.”
The Ministry of Education has announced that exit classes in Secondary schools across the nation will reopen for academic activities on August 4.
A statement released this afternoon July 27, by the Director of Press, Ministry Of Education, Ben Bem Goong, says students in exit classes are to resume immediately after the Salah breaks so they can take their WAEC examinations scheduled to begin August 17.
Goong said this decision was taken at the virtual consultative meeting of the Federal Ministry of Education, Commissioners of Education in the 36 states, the Nigerian Union of Teachers, Proprietors of Private schools, and Chief Executive of Examination bodies.
The Federal government had initially suspended the reopening of schools due to the increase in the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases.

Prominent Nollywood actress and movie producer, Genevieve Nnaji has given her stance on the topic of feminism and the kind that she practices.
According to the Lionheart actress, “feminism” has to do with human rights, and as such, she as a woman, has right to her choices.
Talking further, the actress stated that her concept of feminism is one in which she can choose to do whatever she wants at any point in time, adding that if she were a man, her stance on the matter would be the same.
The actress shared her thoughts with Guardian Nigeria.
She said,
“My own feminism is just human rights. I am a woman who has rights to her own choices. I can do whatever I want whenever I want. It’s just that simple. If I were a man it would be the same thing.”

In a quite lengthy post on her page, the actor’s wife addresses people who are wishing death upon her as she says it’s a grave occurrence which should not be taken lightly or joked about.

What is it? Do I really have to die for these article writers to be ‘satisfied’?? I got married just like every other girl and was happy in my marriage until I began to pay huge and unpleasant prices and witness haunting occurrences just because I married a popular figure. My freedom was taken from me. My children have no life, they don’t have friends and cannot freely do what other kids in their respective age brackets do without fear of unnecessary consequences. They live in a constant fear of the unknown. I have been attacked in unprovoked circumstances because of who I married. I remember in 2013 just like right now, an article was published saying I had died. This exact picture and write up was trending on social media and was on google. It was a regular beautiful day for me till I started receiving so many alarming calls from my family, friends and acquaintances. Former Nigerian international, Musa Nosa Kadiri, has died at the age of 53. He died on Friday, July 24, 2020.
According to Sahara Reporter, the ex- Flying Eagles star went into a coma after falling from his New York apartment which caused bleeding in his brain.
A source who confirmed his death told the publication: “I’m surprised because I saw him Saturday or Sunday. We were going over some business he wanted to be done, and he looked fine.
“He had lost a bit of weight due to being hospitalised two weeks earlier. But he was his usual self, talking politics and plans. So, a day or two later, he was unresponsive and on life support. It’s hard to believe.”
His funeral service is scheduled to hold on Thursday, July 30, at 491 Dekalb Ave, Brooklyn, NY.

Two gunmen were gunned down last Sunday by Pieter van der Westhuizen, who is the brother of South African rugby legend, Joost van der Westhuizen as they tried to rob a congregation during a church service.
Three robbers invaded the Querencia Ministries church in Wierda Park, Centurion, South Africa, on Sunday and proceeded to try and rob members of the congregation at gunpoint.
According to a report by Netwerk24, two of the robbers were then gunned down by Pieter van der Westhuizen who was among the congregation. The third robber was wounded but managed to escape using the car they came with.
According to Ruan Heyns of the Community Emergency Response Team, the pastor of the church, Kobus Erasmus and other worshippers were pushed around and pistol-whipped by the men.
According to Ruan, at one point one of the robbers reportedly held a pistol to Erasmus’ head.
The shooter, Van der Westhuizen – a former police officer himself, is co-operating with the police investigation and his lawyer Ulrich Roux has said his client acted in self-defence when he used the weapon to shoot the attackers.
The shooter’s older brother, Joost van der Westhuizen, made 89 appearances in test matches for the national team, scoring 38 tries and participated in three Rugby World Cups. He died in 2017 after being diagnosed with motor neurone disease.
Budding Nollywood actress, Ada Karl, has shared her story about how she grew up in an abusive environment, even though her father was a great dad.
The actress made the revelation in a recent interview with The Nation.
When she was asked about her childhood memories, the actress said,
“I don’t recall anything good, just the bad ones. Like my dad physically abusing my mum – it wasn’t a palatable experience.”
On how it affected her relationship with men, she said,
“I was very suspicious of any man that said ‘hello’ to me because I assumed all men were the same.
I was traumatised and assumed all men were abusive. It affected my view about men. Growing up, I considered being a Nun, but I came from a Pentecostal and Anglican background. So, l wasn’t even bold enough to discuss that with my parents.
Managing the trauma of domestic violence is tough! I never told my friends in school because I was shy and also scared of my dad. My father being an amazing dad also made it harder for me because I felt nobody would believe me.
I still wonder how he could have been such a great dad and an abusive husband, but again he whiplashed us a lot; which is also a trace of abuse. But as a typical African child, I never viewed that as abuse but as an adult I think he was a bit extreme with his disciplinary measures to us.”

Big Brother Naija housemates, Lucy and Kaisha have been involved in yet another fight in the ongoing BBNaija 2020 reality TV show.
The two female housemates had been involved in a shouting match some days ago which resulted in them exchanging abusive names — Lucy had insinuated that Kaisha acts like a baby and responding to her, Kaisha slammed Lucy and labelled her an old cargo.

Nigerian actress and businesswoman, Tonto Dikeh has finally opened up why she was deported from Dubai last year, after an altercation with security guards.
It should be recalled that sometime last year, news made the rounds that the actress was deported for dealing with drugs et al but she dismissed the reports as false.
The mother of one, in a new development as regards the issue, has now cleared the air, saying she was not involved in any kind of drugs as people were made to believe and that she got into a fight with the guard because he called her “prostitute’’ in Arabic.
According to her, the guard saw her not properly dressed so he insulted her judging by her appearance and that caused the misunderstanding.
She made this known in a live Instagram interview with top Nigerian journalist/Publisher, Chief Dele Momodu. The veteran publisher asked about what realy went down in Dubai, and this is what she has to say;
”Far from it. That incident in Dubai was not drugs because if it was I would be in jail. It had nothing to do with drugs or alcohol even.
“On that day, I was insulted by one of the guards. He said something very derogatory to me in Arabic, I think Lebanon. It’s called Sharamuta which means prostitute, it means a call girl and I was not so dressed.
“But it was a show, so I had like a very amazing bra inside and this blazer on top. To them, it is Haram when you are not dressed properly. So that is where all of the altercation started. That was the only problem, any other information is just false,

Things are heating up in the Big Brother Naija house as the show goes into the second week and housemates are beginning to flare with themselves over one issue or another.
The latest drama that was witnessed was between Tolani Baj and Kaisha.
The ladies were arguing over something that seemingly happened off camera and an angry Tolani blurted out that Kaisha is a weird B*tch with mental issues. She added that she’d be on Kaisha’s case this week.
Kaisha on her part did not respond verbally but simply blew kisses much to the chagrin of Tolani.
"You're a weird b**ch with mental issues, I'll be the one to check you this week," #BBTolanibaj said to #BBKaisha.
Nigerian cross dresser, Bobrisky has been dragged by a skin care brand for breaching a contract after receiving the sum of 2million Naira to influence the brand.
The skin care brand, “Pamper Glow”, revealed that the cross-dresser failed to realize his contractual obligations after signing the contract and refused to fulfill the supposed agreement.
The brand took to their Instagram to lambaste the popular crossdresser saying:
”Dear Bobrisky, we are putting this out here because we are tired of the stories and lies you told just to secure this deal. From saying, your partnership with other brand s was ending in about 7 days, to eventually seeing that after almost two months, the deal still runs, to say you don’t do mobile bank transfers, to saying you would refund and till date, we have not seen our money and numerous others You received the sum of 2 million naira as part payment to influence our brand about two months ago. Since you received this money, it has been difficult reaching you as against how you frequently called even in the midnight before this payment was made. And when you finally responded, it was another story. Having found out all these, we asked for a refund and we expected to receive the payment immediately but you said you don’t do mobile transfers and you gave us a date, the date came and passed with no sign of the money. Calls and messages sent to you were ignored. Took you many days to come up with another story. We are tired and no brand deserves this.”
Bobrisky, as at the time of filing this report, is yet to make any statement as regards the allegations levied against him.
