An Ohio woman who identifies as Jeanita Hopings is at the center of a police manhunt after a shocking and painful break-in at her boyfriend’s home, where she allegedly sliced open his scrotum with a sharp object.

An arrest warrant has been issued for a 45-year-old woman, who is accused of breaking through the front door of her boyfriend’s Toledo residence before launching into a brutal attack that left him seriously injured.

According to police, Hopings stormed into the home and performed what can only be described as a violent, unauthorized ‘surgery’ on her boyfriend.

She attacked his genitals with a sharp object, causing an injury that left one of his testicles fully exposed and requiring immediate medical treatment at a nearby hospital.

Hopings has been charged with felonious assault resulting in serious physical harm, as well as aggravated burglary.

Authorities have not released a new mugshot, but an image from a prior arrest has circulated as police continue their search.

As of the time of this report, she remains on the run.

Unfortunately, instead of rest, she was swiftly drafted into full-blown domestic duties, starting with the physically demanding art of pounding and molding fermented cassava dough, known locally as fufu.

What she had hoped would be a restful holiday quickly turned into what many online are calling a “home-based bootcamp.”

The traditional preparation of fufu is no joke: from boiling the cassava to the intense pounding and kneading, it’s a full-body workout that requires precision, teamwork, and a whole lot of muscle. Her mom made sure she didn’t sit this one out.

A Nigerian mother has shared a hilarious and relatable story about how her young son’s knack for breaking TVs has turned her into a full-time TV bodyguard.

In a post shared on X (Twitter) that has since amused many online, she revealed that her family is currently on their third television set this year, thanks to her energetic little boy.

According to her, the first two were easily replaced by her husband, but the third came with a twist.

Her husband refused to replace it and only agreed to when she contributed half the price of the new TV set.

Following Imisi’s historic win in the just-concluded Big Brother Naija reality TV show, a Nigerian X user has sparked conversation after breaking down the potential tax implications of such a large cash prize.

Recall that Imisi Ayanwale has emerged the winner of the Big Brother Naija season 10, winning a 150 million cash prize alongside other gifts.

In a detailed post, the user explained that winnings from Nigerian reality shows are not tax-free, referencing the Personal Income Tax Act (PITA).

According to the law, any form of reward, whether money, a house, or a car, is considered income and is therefore subject to taxation.

He noted that the Personal Income Tax (PIT) is typically collected by the State Internal Revenue Service in the winner’s state of residence.

If the winner is not a resident in Nigeria, then the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) may be responsible for collecting the tax.

In some cases, Withholding Tax (WHT) may also be deducted at source by the organizers before the prize is disbursed serving as an advance on the winner’s expected income tax.

The user added that while the company giving out the prize may classify it as a deductible marketing or promotional expense for their own corporate taxes, this does not exempt the winner from their individual tax obligations.
