Tacha decided to drag those who have turned ‘wearing of nose masks’ to a Fashion parade.

The reality TV star on her Instagram story also cautioned those wearing matching face masks.

Police arrest man and his wife for using their 7-year-old-son for ritual

The Ogun state police command have arrested a herbalist, Lajuwon Ogunleye and his wife Adetutu Apalaya on charges of conspiring and killing their 7-year-old son, Pelumi Apalaya, alongside one Fatai Sefiu.

The suspects were arrested following their neighbours’ suspicion of the little boy being used for ritual, as he reportedly slumped and died without being sick.

They were reportedly monitored by residents of the community after they took the boy to the bush for burial. It was gathered that some of the body parts of the boy who was buried in a “standing position,” were harvested by the herbalist who is his step father, his mother and Sefiu who is his father’s friend.

Ogun State Police spokesperson, Abimbola Oyeyemi said the Divisional Police Officer for Abigi Division, Tarkighir Joseph led detectives to the bush in Iwopin area of Ijebu waterside where the suspects were rounded up.

Oyeyemi said;

“The suspects led policemen to where the victim was buried and it was discovered that the deceased was buried in standing position.

” On interrogation, the second suspect, Fatai Sefiu, told the detectives that the boy was actually used for ritual by the stepfather in connivance with the deceased boy’s mother. He stated further that the couple have reached a conclusion before he was coopted into the business.

“The mother of the victim Adetutu Apalaya who first denied having knowledge of her husband plan to use her son for ritual was dumbfounded when asked whether or not she followed them to the bush where her son was buried and the mode of burial of the boy.”

The Commissioner of Police, Kenneth Ebrimson, has ordered a transfer of the case to homicide section of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department(SCIID) for further investigation and prosecution.

Lagos mortuaries now full and need urgent decongestion — Sanwo-Olu

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu at a press briefing on Saturday April 25, disclosed that mortuaries in the state are now full and need urgent de-congestion.

The Lagos State Governor said mortuaries in the state are not full due to Coronavirus cases, but because residents of the state have been unable to gather to hold burial ceremonies for their loved ones due to the lockdown order in the state.

Sanwo-Olu also outlined new measures to ensure the decongestion of mortuaries in the state.

He said;

“Because of this inability to hold funerals, occasioned by the restriction on movement, the mortuaries in Lagos State are now full and in urgent need of decongestion. Let me make it clear at this point that these are not Covid-19 deaths.

“I am now constrained to make this appeal to all Lagosians who have the corpses of loved ones in the mortuaries, to please go ahead and schedule these funerals.

“The mortuaries in Lagos are not full because of Covid-19 deaths –the total number of Covid-19 deaths in Lagos as at today is 20; the only reason the mortuaries are full at this time is because funerals are not being held, and have not been held for most of the last two months.

“Lagosians can hold or attend funeral ceremonies in the state as long as they comply with the requirements of the state, which are as follows:

• The total number of persons at the funeral, including officiating religious leaders, must not exceed 20.
• Physical distancing must be maintained at the funeral ceremony.
• All attendees/mourners must use masks and ensure they wash their hands after the
ceremony.
• There must be no receptions or parties to accompany the funerals.

“If we are unable to see a decongestion of the mortuaries across the state in the next two weeks, the Lagos State Government will be compelled to carry out mass burials to achieve this. We do not want to be forced to do this, which is why we are asking for your cooperation in this regard.”

SAD : Identical twin sisters die of Coronavirus three days apart

It is often said that twins are inseparable, even in death and this have been proven in a recent sad event that happened in the U.K

The twin sister of a nurse who died of Coronavirus has also died, just three days after her twin sister died.

Emma Davis, 37, also a former nurse, died at Southampton General Hospital on Friday, just three days after the death of identical twin Katy, who worked as a paediatric nurse at the same hospital

Emma’s death occurred hours after posting a tribute to her late twin sister.

Their deaths was confirmed by their sister, Zoe and she revealed the twins were unwell and suffering from underlying health conditions for a while.

‘They always said they had come into the world together and would go out together as well,’ she told the BBC. There are no words to describe how special they were.’

Katy’s colleagues at Southampton Children’s Hospital, where she worked as the child health risk and patient safety lead, have now paid tribute to her.

Paediatric senior Sarah Chittock said: ‘Dearest Katy, what an inspirational nurse and young lady. Would go out of her way to help others.

‘Katy always wore a smile and the most wonderful sparkly eye shadow. Your memory will continue to sparkle in the children’s hospital.’

May their souls rest in peace.

“Why I was labelled a fraudster” – Uchemba Williams shares

Nollywood actor, Uchemba Williams has in a recent interview disclosed the reason why he thinks a lot of people thought him to be a fraudster.

Uchemba Williams shares

In his interview with Sun News, the actor and Instagram sensation shares how he copes with female attention and weird experience with a female fan?

Williams says,

“I love my female fans always. I think for me I’m used to it because I have been on the limelight for over 22 years, since I was a child. So, it doesn’t come as a shock to me. All I have to do, is wear a smile, dress well, smell nice, and be kind to people. Even though some people can be insensitive. Sometimes they see you in a very serious place they just come in and interrupt you, you just have to be calm because most times they can’t control themselves. I try as much as I can to keep my distance. I’m a very strict person. I am disciplined. I keep boundaries always but however, they are my people and I love them.”

Not many brands are strong enough to rise after the kind of controversy Uchemba Williams faced – where he was accused of fraud on social media… in his interview, he recalls how he was able to handle that period with grace.

Uchemba Williams shares

He says,

“I tell people what happened, I guess if it was in the US wouldn’t have happened because unfortunately we are in a country people don’t do their findings before they lay accusations and blow it out of proportion. I was accused and they tagged me a fraudster. That I defraud people in the US and UN.

The funniest thing is why was I not arrested? Why didn’t you hear in the news that Williams Uchemba has been arrested? When I called out the people that claimed I scammed them to come out or meet me at EFCC, how come no one came out? When the guy that started the whole thing saw that I was false and apologized, why didn’t the media carry it? There was an apology.

I always say something once your hands are clean you will always win. I have never for once taken anything that doesn’t belong to me, never for once lied about something that I’m not, after the controversy the next month I traveled and I attended the same conference that they claimed I was not the Deputy Youth Representative for.

Some people want you to fail, especially if they can’t understand why you are been blessed so much. Also God wanted to use this to let people know that he truly exists. Somebody said to me, ‘ Williams in 3 years you won’t have any movies job or endorsements deal’, he didn’t finish saying that, the next week I got my real estate brand ambassador deal.

It happened in December, I got the deal in January. That year was the best year, so far of my entire career. I did two blockbusters movies, one was 300 million the other was 280 million.

When God is on your side and your hands are clean you would make it through. Always holding on to Jesus.”

Watch viral video of helpless mother watching her son battle Coronavirus

The moment a helpless mother watched her son battle with Coronavirus was captured on video and it is no doubt that the video clip is a very sad one to watch.

Dr. Anna Zimmerman – a neonatologist in Denver, Colorado – took her four-year-old son Lincoln to the hospital on March 30 after he had high fever and cough.

The mother-of-three, a neonatologist specializing in the treatment of premature and sick newborn infants, said,

“He just keeps getting worse. So as a doctor, I could see those medical things happening. And as a mom, it’s just gut-wrenching, right? As a parent, I was just focused on trying to stay calm while he was having a coughing spasm.”

Her son, as she described in medical terms, had retractions – when the muscles between the ribs move.

Zimmerman and her husband kept a close eye on the spread of Coronavirus in Italy and China – and took their children out of their extracurricular activities just days before Colorado schools closed.

Gracefully, Lincoln has now recovered from the virus and is back with his family.

A mentally challenged man identified as Chigorom Ezeofor, 37, pictured, has been apprehended by men of the Anambra state police command for allegedly killing his father in Unuchiana village, Aguata Local Government Area of the state today, April 25, 2020.

Police spokesperson, Haruna Mohammed who confirmed the incident, revealed that men of the Aguata police station on Saturday at about 9am, received a report from one Timothy Ezeofor that his 70-year-old elder brother named Godwin Ezeofor was allegedly murdered by his 37 year old son, Chigorom Ezeofor using an Axe. Timothy added that the suspect has been mentally ill for the past eight years.

Following the report, officers attached to Aguata Division led by the DPO CSP Ayeni Oluwadare mobilised to the scene, took photographs of the victim and rushed to the hospital where he was certified dead by a medical doctor and the corpse deposited at the Hospital’s mortuary for autopsy.

“I made N200k from abducting my brother and killing his son” – Suspect confesses

A 30-year-old suspected kidnapper, Salahatu Haruna, 30, has given the reasons why he abducted his elder brother, Yakubu Haruna, and killed his 7-year-old nephew in Bingiyaro, Kaduna State.

Haruna was apprehended with Isa Yakubu and Umaru Musa – Musa was allegedly paid N10,000 for knowing about the planned abduction of Yakubu, but kept quiet about it.

Salahatu organised the gang that abducted his elder brother. On the fateful night of the abduction of Yakubu, the kidnappers opened fire and shot the victim’s son on his head, killing him instantly.

The kidnappers would later demand N3m and after negotiation, N1m ransom was collected from Yakubu for his freedom. Salahatu was given N200,000 as his share of the ransom.

He was, however, busted when he started throwing money around. Some members of his village, suspicious of his sudden wealth, tipped-off operatives of the IRT.

The operatives launched investigation and soon found out that Salahatu had a hand in his brother’s abduction and nephew’s death.

During interrogation, Salahatu said,

“I wasn’t angry with my elder brother, but I organised his abduction because I had no money or food to feed my two wives and nine children.

I equally do not have enough money to spend as a man. I was too ashamed to beg my brother for money because there is a sort of rivalry between his wives and mine.

I’m pained that I got my nephew killed. I believe that it was my nephew’s destiny to die young. I want the police to give me a second chance.”

Two male Twitter influencers release sextape of female Twitter influencer who allegedly had threesome with them 8 times

Two male Twitter influencers are currently being outed on the platform for releasing a sextape of a female Twitter influencer who they claim had threesomes with them.

The men took to the platform earlier today to claim that the female influencer threatened to call them out on Twitter for “using and dumping her” – they stated that it’s in light of her threat that they then decided to beat her to her game by coming out first.

One of the guys shared a sex tape of the female Twitter influencer performing oral sex on one of them. The other male Twitter influencer then made a thread narrating how they all met.

Two male Twitter influencers

According to him, all three of them – two guys and a girl – met on Twitter and got close after organizing a hangout. They then created a WhatsApp group for just three of them.

He claimed the girl began having sex with both of them separately but didn’t know that both men knew – he said that she later came on the group to tell them that she has a confession to make.

She told them she was sleeping with both of them and the men told her it was cool. They claim she then suggested a threesome and they agreed. The guy said they engaged in threesomes 8 times.

Whenever the men got jobs to do a campaign on Twitter or to trend a hashtag, they got her involved. The men said the Twitter jobs they gave her had nothing to do with the threesomes.

However, they eventually grew apart and stopped chatting. The men claim the lady soon started feeling scorned and threatened to expose them on Twitter for using her and dumping her after promising her jobs.

They said they decided to release the sextape and their version of the story, to “expose her first before she exposes them.

Twitter users have since called them out for posting “revenge porn” while some defended them, saying they did it to prevent a blackmail.

Nigeria can develop COVID-19 vaccine – ASUU

The Academic Staff Union of Universities has said heavy investment in education at national and sub-national levels would provide quality medical and behavioural scientists to produce vaccine for the treatment of COVID-19.

Ogunyemi led ASUU’s members from the Lagos Zone to hand over the items to the state’s Deputy Governor, Noimot Salako-Oyedele.

The ASUU president said what Nigeria should learn from the pandemic was that investment in education would yield immeasurable dividends.

He said, “For instance, conscious and determined investment in university education at national and sub-national levels would give our country quality medical scientists, behavioural scientists, creative scholars and other creams of informed citizens who can respond intelligently to challenges like the COVID-19 pandemic.

“To achieve better results, we believe Nigerian governments at the federal and state levels need to work with public intellectuals and patriotic trade unions like ASUU.’’

Ogun state to start face mask enforcement May 1; violators will spend 14 days in Isolation centers

Ogun state

As Nigeria continues to battle the Coronavirus pandemic, the Ogun State Government says it will begin enforcing the wearing of face masks in the state, as from May 1, 2020.

The state governor, Dapo Abiodun disclosed this during a press conference in the state on Friday April 24. He said offenders of the compulsory face mask order will be arrested and made to spend 14 days in an Isolation center.

“We are working against the spread of this COVID-19. As from May 1, it will be compulsory for everybody in the State to wear face masks. We deliberately delayed enforcing it so that our people can have enough time to get their own. After May 1, anyone who fails to wear a face mask will be viewed as deliberately planning to infect others and will be arrested and put in our isolation centres.

Some of our confirmed cases are immigrants coming to our State through the land borders. The peculiarity of Ogun State put us at a vulnerable position. That means that just as we have advantages, we also have some disadvantages.” he said

He added that the state has made testing booths available in border towns and highly populated areas for people, stating that the Intensive Care Unit, ICU at the 250-bed hospital at Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, was ready for use, while the Molecular Laboratory for testing COVID-19 patients has been inspected by officials of the NIgeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC and the World Health Organisation, WHO.

Ogun state currently has 35 confirmed cases of COVID19.

#SayNoToDrugs : Video shows how drugs destroyed a beautiful Lady, Amanda, in 4 months.

A Photographer has shared the story of Amanda, a commercial sex worker who got addicted to crack cocaine which had serious adverse effects on her physical and mental health.

The photographer identified as Soft White Underbelly showed Amanda’s rapid deterioration in 4 months.

Before you order me to help Amanda please read this. No can stop Amanda. Not her family, not me, not you, not the church, not the rehab facilities she’s walked out of. No one. The purpose of my channel is to help us understand how and why this happens so that we can try to fix what’s broken in our country and hopefully, prevent the next generation of children from falling through the same cracks as Amanda has. I’m certain there will be a ton of commenters saying I should be “helping” Amanda instead of exploiting her, but you have to understand my aim with this channel of mine.

My goal is to make people who are strong and capable wake up so that we can create changes that can prevent this from happening to the next generation of children, not to try to fix the already broken individuals I photograph. There are many thousands just like Amanda out there. Let’s stop blaming the “exploitive” photographer and look at the real causes of this. There are many hundreds of thousand more Amandas out there and most of them have small children somewhere. Let’s fix the true causes of these problems instead of sitting on your sofa and blaming me. I’m simply informing you of the truth. ML

Former Super Eagles forward, Daniel Amokachi, has revealed that he slept at the altar of Prophet T.B Joshua’s Synagogue Church of All Nations for weeks in search of a miracle but that never came to pass.

“At first, I wasn’t giving to it, but I later agreed and flew down to Nigeria from England to see the Pastor.

“I slept by the church’s altar for several weeks to receive healing. I was not healed, but I saw lots of miracles that happened to people.”
