Toyin AbraNollywood actress and movie producer, says she started making money four years ago about 13 years after she began her acting career in 2003.
The award-winning movie star brought the revelation to light when she featured on “Your View”, a TVC programme on Friday.
Speaking on the show, Abraham said she would not have been able to help people as she is presently doing during the COVID-19 lockdown, if it was five years ago. “If this (referring to the COVID-19 lockdown) had happened five years ago, I wouldn’t have been able to give because I was not making money then. I just started making money three or four years ago,” she said.
According to her, the novel disease has taken a huge toll on countries across the globe, adding that people are only thinking about survival now. “There is nothing that matters now except how to survive. After this coronavirus, if people don’t change, then they have a problem. My car and that of my husband have been parked for days now, there’s nothing like competition again,” she added.
She went on to reveal measures being put in place to ensure that those who benefit from her giveaways online are people in need.
“Before I give people money, I check their social media accounts to know when they came into into existence,” she said.
The 35-year-old actress also narrated how her marriage to Kolawole Ajeyemi, fellow movie star, and her motherhood experience have changed her life. “It (referring to motherhood) is a new experience and it’s has really changed me. I can tell anybody now that I am a woman coupled with the fact that I married to a good man. My name now is mummy Ire. Motherhood has changed my life,” she added.
Abraham made headlines recently after some reports suggested she was an ambassador for the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on the coronavirus pandemic, after she had appeared in a video sensitising people on COVID-19.
The Nigeria Police on Friday said it has dismissed two officers who assaulted a woman in Osun State.
The police said the dismissal of the officers – Inspector Ikuesan Taiwo and Constable Abass Ibrahim – was preceded by a trial where they were found guilty of assaulting the woman.
“They have been dismissed from the Force,” the police said.
The duo attached to Iwo Division of Osun State Police Command were seen assaulting a woman at the Odo Ori Market, Iwo, Osun State, in a video in early April.
In the video, the police officers interrogated the woman on an unknown issue and soon began pulling her by the clothes she wore.
Taiwo and Ibrahim continuously flogged the woman with canes amidst pleas by sympathisers to stop the assault.
The video generated a renewed call by Nigerians for the government to restructure and re-orientate police officers who have been found culpable of illegal arrest, abuse, extortion and extrajudicial killing of Nigerians on many occasions.

Read her post below ;
My page was created some years back.
Little did I know that life is going to throw an experience of gross injustice and dehumanization on my lap through a woman I would work for.
I have been badly treated but this particular one breaks me.
I think I am strong but my choosing not to speak up is dragging me into depression.
I have been one person that advocates for people speaking up to heal.
And for once I decide to state my plight and be heard.
I did not only have to deal with covid19.
I have also been going through intense level of frustration from my boss. Who did not only sack me on my sick bed even though I got the virus from her son who she flew in from london prior to the lockdown.but going all out to intimidate me with false accusations and lies. I was ordered by relatives to not even mention I had covid19 not more of staying my struggles especially the I’ll treatment for my boss.
I am trying to hang on and pray I get justice and an end comes to this oppression
So even though I was depressed and almost suicidal after dealing with covid19 and also the maltreatment from Caroline danjuma.
I was ready to settle for peace sake until she has been threatening me even after being discharged from isolation. Saying her son never had covid19 is the height of oppression and dehumanization on anyone. Knowing fully well I was exposed to her son who tested positive first. And the ncdc insisted we come for test. I will drop all my screenshot starting from while she was in isolation.
This is someone who I accepted to work with as a domestic staff because she promised to employ me in her company after seeing my resume and my potentials.
But instead did all she could to relegate me and intimidate me to feel like a nobody while in her house.
I won’t choose to fall into depression rather I will speak until I’m heard.

A video making the rounds on social media shows the moment policemen punished lockdown violators in a very unique and funny way.
In the awareness video released by the Tamil Nadu police, the police force made the lockdown violators sit inside an ambulance which has a fake COVID-19 patient in it.
The patient inside the ambulance is not actually coronavirus positive. The move has been taken to create fear among the stubborn violators so that would adhere to the lockdown rules.

A man Coelho, 32, died from coronavirus complications and his wife, Katie retrieved all of his belongings from a month-long stay at the hospital, Buzzfeed News reports.
Among these items was his phone, which Katie went through and she found a note that Jon had written for her in the event of his death.
Coelho wrote ;
“I love you guys with all my heart and you’ve given me the best life I could have ever asked for, I am so lucky it makes me so proud to be your husband and the father to Braedyn and Penny.”
After two miscarriages, Katie and Jon decided to have a child through IVF. Born with neurological problems, Braedyn was expected to live for only six weeks, but he has since defied those odds, thanks to the help of his mother, who now cares for him full-time.
In the meantime, Jon provided for his family, working at a nearby courthouse, which he continued to do during the coronavirus pandemic since he was considered an essential employee.
Since Braedyn was a high risk for coronavirus, Jon was extremely cautious about putting his son in harm’s way. “My husband wore gloves, masks, he washed his hands,” Katie said. “He was so super vigilant because he was so afraid of what would happen to our son if he caught it.”
Despite his best efforts, Jon was informed on March 24 that he come into contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19. At first, Jon only showed mild symptoms, such as fatigue, migraines, and loss of the sense of smell, but when a test confirmed that he also had contracted the virus, he kept himself isolated in a section of his home.
In a matter of 24 hours, his conditions worsened. Jon’s persistent cough limited his ability to breath, so his doctors suggested that he go to the hospital to undergo nebulizer treatments. After spending nearly one week in the hospital, Jon wasn’t getting better, and his doctors decided to have him intubated.
Even though Jon was still struggling with his breathing, doctors were optimistic that he would make a full recovery.
On the seventh day, Jon was woken up because he was breathing too hard, and was believed to be having a panic attack. He briefly spoke with Katie, telling her, “I love you and I’m sorry,” before being re-intubated.
After his health worsened, Jon started to get better, and was even taken off a ventilator this past Tuesday. “The doctor I’d spoken to said, ‘We’re going to be able to wake your husband up in two days,’” Katie recalls the conversation she had with his doctor that night. “And they started talking to me about recovery.”
Hours later, Jon went into cardiac arrest and died. While Katie may be confused about where it all went wrong with her husband’s health, there’s no confusion regarding how Jon felt about her.
Pastor Lazarus Muoka, the General Overseer of The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Movement, has dragged world leaders over measures they put in place to curb the spread of coronavirus, including closure of churches.
In a video that was shared on the church’s official page on Facebook, Pastor Muoka said that God allowed the Coronavirus pandemic to happen so everyone can return to him. He stated that the devil has taken advantage of the virus and looking for solution elsewhere, instead of returning to the house of the Lord.
Pastor Muoka further added that if the world returns back to God and enters into a covenant with him, Coronavirus will be crushed within one minute. He also slammed world leaders for tampering with churches in a bid to a cure to the deadly disease.
The Lord’s Chosen General Overseer who insinuated that Coronavirus is God’s wrath against man, insisted that it cannot be stopped by closure of borders, washing of hands, use of vaccines and wearing of face masks.
A Road Safety Officer, Ahmed Lawan Dalorima has called on the Borno State Governor to immediately set up a committee on monitoring doctors in the state.
Dalorima made the appeal on Thursday, after he rushed some accident victims to two hospitals only to be told that there were no doctors or nurses to attend to the injured persons.
He said a doctor later came by and referred him to a private hospital which Dalorima says is owned by the doctor.
See Dalorima’s post and more photos below:
I was very much disappointed with what happened earlier today, I was driving to my command when suddenly there was a car crash along damboa road.
As a safety officer, I took my personal vehicle and decided to take the RTC victims to the hospital but tragically I went to Borno state two major Hospitals which were Nursing home (Mamman Shuwa General Hospital) and Borno State General Hospital just to be told that there was no single doctor to attend to the victims, not even professional nurses in the whole of the hospital except for security and cleaners.
Am appealing to the Hospital Management Board, Ministry of Health State/FGN), and H. E the executive governor of Borno state to as matter of urgency set a committee on monitoring the doctors.
One of the doctor said he is closed that we should take the victims to a private hospital which I later found out that the private hospital belongs to him.
To be fair and just to clear the elephant in the room, Nigerians are the problem of our country.
Nigerians are more wicked and dangerous than Covid-19.
At such a trying times, we do not have doctors in public hospital because the doctors have built their personal hospitals and making profit out of it and still earning salaries for the work they haven’t done.
Below is the picture of the victims car whom was along with his wife and two sisters when the horrific accident occurred but there was no hospital with a doctor, than Shameful and I hope my message reaches the Hospital Management Board, Ministry of Health and the government of Borno state.
It’s time we take a stand and face our leaders on the matters on ground, justice and respect isnt something that is given to you rather its something that you can only earn. What’s worth doing, is worth doing right
A Nigerian Man has taken to micro-blogging site, twitter to recount how he faked his own death and printed an obituary poster just so he could leave the relationship he was in at that time.
Read his hilarious narration below ;
One time in final year after defending my project, I met one sweet Post Graduate at Alakahia. She was way older than me but she was sweet.
We did talking stage for like 1 week before she agreed to come to my place and that day was one of the biggest mistakes of my life.
Because of small pre marital sex, this woman was calling me 30 times a day.
If Nepa takes her light – “Baby, you won’t believe what just happened”
If the light comes back – “Baby, they brought it back oh”
“Baby, our compound water tank is empty”
I was even managing the calls until one Sunday she sent me her Sunday picture, she was wearing white and white.
I asked her whether she was wearing costume for kingdom dance performance in church but she said it’s Olumba Olumba Obu. (If you know, you know)
I started sweating.
I got drunk that evening and told her “I’m ending this relationship. I’m not feeling it”
The woman just laughed and said
“Don’t worry, you will soon start feeling it”
The next day, she came to the house and seduced me and I fell and forgot that I’ve broken up with her.
When my eyes cleared, I broke up with her again.
She just laughed and said she’ll see me tomorrow.
The same thing happened again.
In fact, it went on like that for weeks, I will break up, she will sexually bring me back to the relationship.
One time I even blocked her number everywhere and left the house to my mother’s house for a whole week.
E no work.
One day after I came back, she was passing by and saw my car and I was back in the relationship.
I thought deeply and enlisted the counsel of my friend and roommate
@iamFrankgod
and he told me what to do.
I told her I was driving to Owerri for a wedding that weekend and on Monday morning Frank called her and told the babe that I had an accident and died.
Obviously, the babe was devastated and tried to call me but I kept giving different people the phone to back up my story.
We even designed small Obituary poster and sent to only her on WhatsApp so she will rest.
I stayed in my mother’s house until the eve of convocation, I decided to drive to Alakahia and spend time with one new babe.
I was just sitting inside my car, waiting for the babe I went to see to come out of her house when I saw my ex and her both coming out of the gate.
She was obviously just escorting the new prospect to know the person who’s coming to pick her up. As I recognized her, she was also recognizing me inside the car.
I wanted to come down and explain but which Ghost does that??
As she wanted to start shouting, I quickly started the car and zoomed away.

During the funeral, his first wife vowed to do everything she can to keep the family together as per her husband’s wish.
“I will do anything to keep his children fed and OK,” she told VOA.
Pai Grande’s family live on subsistence farming, growing crops and rearing livestock. They also generate revenue from their sales.
