“You deserve the consequences of your actions if you refuse to stay home to go to church, bastard people” – Hushpuppi

In a rather contemptuous and exasperated tone, Nigerian big boy, Hushpuppi addressed fellow Nigerians who refuse to obey the directives giving by the government to stay at home and not go to social gatherings like Churches, mosques et al.

Taking to his Instagram page to share a piece of advice to Christians, the U.A.E based big boy said Christians should note that should they disobey orders and eventually contract the virus, their pastors would only pray for them which cannot cure the virus.

He says they shouldn’t blame the government in the advent that anything happens to them and should face the music for disobeying orders as they deserve it.

Hushpuppi, who’s known to be an archenemy of the Nigerian government, surprisingly praised them in his rant as he says they’ve been trying their best during these times.

He concludes by saying such people —bastard people— shouldn’t slide in his DMs to beg him for money.

He wrote on his page,

Those of you in Nigeria going to church today and refusing to stay home, just know if anything happen to you and your families, your pastors will only donate prayers which can’t cure corona obviousl. Don’t blame the government for anything, they are doing their best, it’s you who isn’t helping and you deserve the consequences of your actions!!! Also don’t come and beg money in my dm o bastard people

“Women need men more than they need us” – Lady says

A lady seems to have accepted the fact that the 21st century gentleman is certainly not the old-fashioned man who leaves some certain responsibilities to their female partners.

South African lady, Queen Bin Laden on the Twitter platform, took to her page to tell her fellow ladies that they should work on their personalities and attitude because men can survive with or without.

She’s received a lot of praises for her opinion, especially from men and has become a trending topic on the platform.

She wrote,

Men of today can cook, clean & do laundry.Basically they can do all chores & they can finance their lifestyle

So stop acting like these black men need you just because you have a big ass & juicy pussy

Work on ur personality & attitude because with or without you he will survive

These black men are so independent and they work very hard…as a matter of fact we need them more than they need us

Honestly most women just squirt and fart…that’s basically their contribution in a relationship

Sometimes she doesn’t love you,she loves how available you are to her financial needs

Nigerian mother makes her children have dress for service at home; collects offering (Video)

It was not the usual Sunday for most Nigerians Christians today as a lot of churches didn’t hold their regular Sunday service due to the directive given by the government against the spread of Corona Virus.

However, members of some churches were able to connect to sermons via their Church’s online platforms or radio, podcasts et al. The only thing is there wouldn’t have been the usual vibe of the sonorous choristers and the joyful noise made by instrumentalists during praise and worship.

As it is, a lot of Christians had no choice but stay at home and worship from their living rooms or wherever they deemed fit. But in the case of this Nigerian mother, she made good sure that her and her household went on about their Sunday service like business as usual.

One of her children, a legal practitioner took to her Twitter page to share how her mother made each of her children dress up for Sunday service and in course of the session, even collected offerings from them.

The video shows a number of people in what looks like a living room and what’s even surprising, is they looked like they were practicing social distancing, during the service.

The lady @Rach_eye on Twitter shared the video, writing,

My mum made us dress up for church today, by 8am everyone was in the sitting room, there was even offering she said she will drop the offering at the alter when everything is over talk about mum of the year

Yinka Ayefele Replies People Who Criticize Him For Praising Celebrities In His Songs

Gospel singer, Yinka Ayefele, has replied those who criticize him for praising celebrities in his songs.

In an interview with Sunday Scoop, he asserted that people who judge him for praise – singing celebrities know nothing about his relationship with God as he is doing what God sent it to do.

“I don’t think anyone should judge me as they don’t know my relationship with God. We are all sent on different assignments. My ministry is between me and my God and I’m doing it how He sent me to do it. If King Sunny Ade is playing juju music, don’t be surprised that that’s how God wants him to do it. I can’t say I want to prove being holy by copying the style of some gospel artistes.

“The way I sing is how God wants me to preach my own gospel. Both Muslims and Christians listen to my music because I preach to the whole world with my songs. If it’s too obvious that I’m ‘preaching’ gospel, some people may not listen to me or invite me to sing for them.

The proud father of three, recently also stressed that he feels more alive than ever before. He added, “When people around me appreciate me, especially with my condition and the pain that I’ve passed through, it makes me feel alive and life is more meaningful to me. When I look back, my being alive is enough reason to be grateful. As a matter of fact, I feel younger at 53. The only time I feel older is when my staff members call me ‘daddy’.”

The 53-year-old singer also reacted to a video where water was poured on him on his birthday by his workers, Ayefele said, “That’s how I relate with my staff members. I see them as my colleagues and relate with them like my mates. Whatever we do to anyone of them is the same thing I expect them to do to me. Whenever any of them is celebrating their birthdays, I join them to pour water, palm oil, soft drinks, or even diesel on the person, so I don’t see anything bad in what was done.”

Lady shares her horrific coronavirus symptoms to encourage people to stay at home

Coronavirus

A Twitter user has shared her coronavirus symptoms to encourage people to stay indoors over the highly contagious disease.

Coronavirus

The 22-year-old woman disclosed that she suffered headaches, had a runny nose, vomitted consistently, had fever, became dehydrated and also suffered shortness of breath.

Read her tweets below;

I’m 22 and I tested positive for COVID-19. Take it from me – you do NOT want to catch this Hopefully hearing about my experience will help the rest of you to stay home (for real)

The first couple of days of symptoms were manageable. I had a fever, a mild cough, chills, headache, runny nose. Since I had been to Europe, they allowed me to get tested my second day of symptoms.

By the third day, I couldn’t keep anything down. I was vomiting constantly. I couldn’t sleep, I obviously couldn’t eat. At this point, I still didn’t have my test results back.

4th day: test back positive. I developed shortness of breath. It’s scary, it feels like your lungs are shallow and you can’t take a proper breath. I was weak, had a 102 degree fever and rising.

5th day. Things got worse and worse. I had never been this ill in my entire life. I was genuinely afraid I would die, because that is what it felt like

By the 6th day of symptoms, I was so weak I couldn’t even walk. I crawled to the bathroom to vomit. I became so dehydrated I called 911, and they took me in an ambulance to the emergency room. I stayed there for a day where they rehydrated me and got me some anti nausea meds.

7th-11th day of symptoms: ER again. I had never been that weak or fatigued by fever in my life. I either violently shivered in bed all day, or would wake up in a literal puddle of my own sweat. I couldn’t eat for 9 days. I was completely miserable.

Right now I am on my 12th day of symptoms, and I have my appetite back, but the end is nowhere in sight. I still have all the major symptoms.

A coronavirus diagnosis is dehumanizing and lonely, and I wouldn’t wish it upon my worst enemy. You aren’t invincible just because you’re in your 20s. Take it from me, and quarantine like your life depends on it (it might)

Vote Bernie this election cycle!!! We need Medicare for All more than ever. Oh and going to your boyfriend’s house is NOT part of quarantine.

Husband contracts coronavirus after hosting wedding anniversary party of less than 10 people (Video)

A man has tested positive for coronavirus after hosting his 27th wedding anniversary party with less than 10 people.

According to ABC7, Mr. Emilian White and his wife Kim Gagne, celebrated their anniversary by having a small dinner with a couple of friends not more than ten this past Friday.

“All we literally did that day was a fist bump, and he was gone,” said Kim Gagne, referring to her spouse’s sudden and unexpected hospitalization.

A fist bump was the last simple touch between a husband and wife of 27 years. Gagne thought her husband, Emilian White, would just get checked out and get tested for the virus but she says, “It went from 0 to 100 quickly.”

He had to be rolled away as soon as possible.

“I didn’t know what was happening,” she told KTRK in an interview via Facetime.

She hasn’t seen him since Tuesday and has only talked to him by phone. Now, she and their children are in quarantine at home.

Coronavirus: Ogun State closes all its borders with neighbouring states and Republic of Benin

The Ogun State Government has announced the closure of its borders with neighboring states and the Republic of Benin.

Enforcement of the border closure order given by Governor Dapo Abiodun will be effected by 12 midnight on Sunday, March 29.

A statement released by Governor Abiodun’s Chief Press Secretary Kunle Somorin reads in part;

“The position of Ogun State is peculiar. It not only shares an international border with the Republic of Benin, it does so with all other states in the South West (except Ekiti), including Lagos State, which has understandably recorded the highest number of infections in the country, largely because it hosts the busiest air and sea ports and it’s the nation’s economic capital.

“The border closure will not only be beneficial to Ogun State but the national efforts to curtail and contain the virus. Lessons from other climes strongly indicate that closure of borders has the potential to drastically flatten the curve of spread whilst unrestricted movement portends grave dangers.

“The only exceptions to the interstate restrictions are vehicles conveying personnel involved in essential services such as security agencies, health workers, food and medical items and petroleum products.”

Residents of the state were urged to work with security operatives in the state to curb the spread of coronavirus in the state and West Africa in general.

New photo shows how a couple and their guests observed social distancing at their wedding in Benue

As Nigerians have been apprised to practice social distancing and indulge in personal hygiene against the spread of the novel Corona Virus, some citizens of the country seem to adhere to the stern warning… but!

But the show must go on… Nigerians are known for their traditional weekend-social-event-shenanigans —majorly weddings— and with the new directive by the government to not engage in social gatherings, some Nigerians are having a hard time adjusting.

Since the show must go on, they will however participate in social distancing in a social event than not have any event at all. Like in the case of this couple who allegedly held their wedding today in Benue.

The photo clearly shows a marriage ceremony going on as the bride is seen sitting in her wedding gown with a flower bouquet in her hands but worthy to note in the photo is how the guests distant themselves from each other as the event holds.

There’s been many cases of local authorities disrupting social gatherings as people have been warned not to engage in such but would there have been an exception for this event as it’s apparent that they were being cautious but had to have their wedding?

Benue state recorded its first case of the Coronavirus today, March 28th and so far, confirmed cases in the country nears the 100th mark as there’s been a total of 89 confirmed cases across the country as at the time of filing this report.

Man stabs pregnant wife to death two months after their wedding (Graphic images)

A new report tells of the gruesome murder of a pregnant lady who hails from a South Eastern state in the country just two months after she got married. The murder was allegedly committed by her newly wedded husband.

Early this year, January 10th precisely, one Rita Onyemauchechukwu Onyebuchi —now late— and her husband Mr Ikechukwu popularly called “Agbada” and both hailing from Anambra state, sealed their union in holy matrimony.

But what would happen two months and a pregnancy after is what has had people in shock. The story of Rita’s murder starts when on the 24th of March, 2020 —a working day— her younger brother, Onyebuchi John Paul, who works in the same company with her, noticed she wasn’t at work, which to him is a rather seldom occurrence.

In light of this, he put a call through to her but got no response. It was after working hours that he went to her house in Ezimezi village, Amawbia, Anambra state, but on getting there, saw that the door to the house was locked.

He also noticed that his brother-in-law’s car was not parked in the compound. He then went home and called her husband but his number was switched off.

The next day, a Wednesday, his sister still didn’t show up to work and their mother, who is suffering from high blood pressure, was beginning to get worried.

It was on Thursday morning, March 26th that John Paul stopped by his sister’s house on his way to work and saw a crowd, including police officers, gathered in the compound.

GRAPHIC PHOTOS AHEAD. VIEWERS’ DISCRETION ADVISED

He was led into the house where he saw the decomposing body of his sister lying in a pool of her own blood.

John Paul, who gave the narrative of the whole situation on his Facebook page, revealed that his sister was 2 months pregnant before she was murdered.

Seeking justice in his post, John also revealed that his sister’s husband was arrested on the same Thursday, March 26 and was held at Central Police Station Awka.

On Saturday, March 28, he was transferred to the state CID Amaubia, Anambra. John suspects that his brother-in-law is the culprit of his sister’s murder and seeks justice for her and her unborn child.

He wrote on his Facebook page,

Dear compatriots am writing this with a heavy heart, a heart that seeks for justice and wants the law to take its full place about what I will say.

Please I want all Human right activist, lawyers to help us out on this. I am by name Onyebuchi Johnpaul from Achalla village, Enugu-Agidi town, Njikoka L.G, Anambra State.

One of my immediate elder sister Mrs. Rita Onyemauchechukwu Onyebuchi who did her traditional and marriage rites on 10th January 2020 married to her husband Mr Ikechukwu popularly called “Agbada” from Isu Aniocha village in Awka north LGA in Anambra State. My sister and i were staffs of Philip Smith Security Limited in Awka. The deceased (my sister) failed to be at work on Tuesday 24/3/2020 at Philip Smith security limited awka, which has never happened before because she is always at work and dedicated staff of the company. Following her absenteeism at work on Tuesday i put a call to my sister on her phone but it was ringing and she wasn’t answering her phone calls. She never responded to those calls and never returned the calls which is unusual. I continued calling her even when i dismissed from work but still ringing no response.

After work hours i made way to her house where she is living with the husband at Chima’s compound in Ezimezi village, Amawbia on reaching there i saw that the house was locked and the husband’s car is not in the compound, after several knocks and banging at the door no responds too.I decided to head home and requested that the husband’s number should be sent to me by. The husband number was sent and i called the husband but his number was switched off.

On Wednesday 25/3/2020 i went to work as usual but still my sister was absent unlike her because she was always punctual to work. I still called but her phone kept ringing no response. I even called all her husband number but it was switched off.

That Wednesday i look left work very late so i couldn’t stop over her house to check. So i informed my mom who said she has been calling her too but no response and also that her son-in-law (my sister husband) phone was switched off.

on Thursday 26/3/2020 I decided to stop at their house before going to work.Reaching the compound i saw police men in the compound and crowds gathered. When the special crime unit of the police arrived i was taken to the room to find the dead body of my sister MRS RITA ONYEBUCHI laying in pool of blood . And the body has started to decompose. The whole place was smelling and blood all over the bedroom.

I was shocked i couldn’t tell my mom at that point who also came to know why her daughter wasn’t answering her calls. Mama was suffering high blood pressure that why i couldn’t tell her then and pleaded that people should take away from the place. My sister was 2 month pregnant as i was writing this story.

Please I want the human right activist and lawyers to come into this matter and make sure that the suspect is brought to book to face the law. The suspect is the husband Ikechukwu by name popularly known as Agbada from Isuaniocha he lives with his wife Rita Onyebuchi at Chima’s compound in Ezimezi village, Amawbia.

Pastor who said coronavirus pandemic was the result of “mass hysteria” from the media, dies from the virus

A pastor who claimed that the coronavirus pandemic was the result of “mass hysteria” from the media has died from the deadly virus.

Spradlin had shared a misleading meme on March 13, comparing coronavirus deaths to swine flu deaths and said that the pandemic was the result of “mass hysteria” from the media.

He also suggested that the media is using the pandemic to hurt President Donald Trump.

In the comment, Spradlin said the outbreak is a “real issue,” but added that he believes “the media is pumping out fear and doing more harm than good”

“It will come and it will go,” he wrote.

Facebook has since flagged the post as displaying “partly false information” after being reviewed by independent fact-checkers.

Sadly, Spradlin passed away this week at the Atrium Health Cabarrus hospital, in Concord, North Carolina, after teasing positive for coronavirus.

According to Danville Register & Bee, the 66-year-old had both bronchitis and a small case of pneumonia, and had already tested negative for the coronavirus while in New Orleans.

“When I got his feet on the ground they crumpled,” she said.

He was rushed to the Atrium Health Cabarrus, a hospital in Concord, where doctors placed him on a ventilator and diagnosed him with double pneumonia, meaning both lungs were infected, the report added.
