A Nigerian lady has taken to her twitter page to lambaste a chap who slid into her DM to respectfully ask that she becomes his girlfriend.
The conversation that was shared, shows that the lady was not interested from the onset about any form of discussion that didn’t involve business or money and thus, when the guy persistently continued trying to win her over with sweet words, she flipped the switch and told him she was not his type.

Popular social commentator, Reno Oomokri, has again spoken on relationship matters, telling men the kind of woman they should marry.
Reno said that a woman with a car, human hair, iPhone, jewellery, expensive shoes and high taste in food without a rich family or income or any business that shows she can afford them is a not a woman fit for marriage. He said such a person cannot be the one except the devil wants to set a trap to end the man.
He said that kind of woman can be likened to a panther who consumes one’s value.
The social commentator asked his male followers to consider things carefully before they jump into marriage if they do not want to regret their decision and weep. He said: “Look before you leap, or you will rue and weep. Marriage to a panther is damage, not marriage”.

In his words;
“Don’t go to people’s page and insult them, people you don’t know. If life tire you, go and kill yourself nah. If you know life don tire you, you are frustrated ehn when your mate dey hustle, you are busy insulting people. Go and kill yourself, go and hug transformer!.
Lagos State Health Commissioner, Prof Akin Abayomi, stated that most people infected with coronavirus don’t feel sick, they can be exercising daily and feel generally well but are secreting and transmitting the virus everywhere they go.
The Lagos State Health Commissioner shared this information during a chat on Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily programme on Saturday.
He said;
“ We ’ve moved from the imported stage to the community transmission stage and the virus is now jumping around and it is a highly contagious virus ; it spreads very easily.
“ The difference between flu and coronavirus is that if you catch the flu , you will know you have flu . You ’ll be terribly unwell , there will be no doubt that you are sick .
“ Most people don ’t actually know they have coronavirus . About sixty to seventy percent of people have a very mild illness it might just feel as if you had a rough day but you ’ re secreting the virus and therefore you ’re transmitting it.
“ And therefore a moderate proportion of people have symptoms and a smaller proportion will have a severe and critical illness. You could have coronavirus and be jogging. That’ s mild it could be. ”
He said the state is aware of the difference in the social segments of Lagosians and is working on policies suitable for different strata and parts of the society .
He said , “ Every segment of Lagos requires a slightly different strategy. It can ’t be the same cap fits all . Someone in Victoria Island doesn’ t have the same priority as someone in Makoko for example. What Mr Governor is trying to do is to size up all the respective situations . He gets his situation analysis every day . He debates with his cabinet.
“ Livelihood is the priority and COVID -19 is just a threat to livelihood . There are many other threats to livelihood . And so in life, you balance those threats . And that other threat may be hunger or other kinds of sicknesses .
“ Lockdown is a component of social distancing and there are many factors to social distancing . What we are trying to do is to reduce the opportunity for the virus to travel from one person to another .
“ If seventy percent of Lagosians are in the informal sector , they have no safety net, they live from day – to -day . What they earn is what they eat , it ’s not like a higher social – economic segment that has reserves.
“ It is important that you allow your imaginations to infiltrate this segment of society and make realistic decisions that don ’ t disconnect you from these people . You could have a double assault in both ways if you make the wrong kind of decisions . ”
Nollywood Actress, Regina Daniels, have been topic of discussion when it comes to ‘marrying for love or money’ ever since she got married to the love of her life, Billionaire Ned Nwoko. The only problem (according to critics) is that the man was too old for her and she apparently married him because of the money that was involved.
The above paragraph is the reason Regina Daniels family became one of the most talked about on social media and this has extended to her younger sister, Destiny Daniels.
In a recent development, Destiny was dragged into an online exchange who felt morally justified to give some marital advice to the sister of Regina Daniels ( because come on, we are talking about the sister of Regina Daniels).
When the troll tried to advise her against following the footsteps of her older sister, Destiny who couldn’t care less if the troll was older than her, gave him a piece of her mind.
The follower wrote: “No marry old man like your sister bcos of money you hear?”

“you that you are young, your own is to be posting engagement ring because all the girls you proposed to didn’t accept your foolishness simply because you’re broke…….pls make money let young girls marry young guys. Founder of Omega Fire Ministry, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has called on the federal government to allow pastors heal COVID-19 patients through prayers.
This is despite the fact that the World Health Organisation (WHO) had warned people against unscientific claims suggesting cure for the respiratory disease caused by coronavirus.
According to Church Times, the clergyman said there was need for the government to grant permission to those with gift of divine healing to visit isolation centres and heal people with the killer virus.
Suleman claimed that such measure is needed if the country hopes to make meaningful progress in the fight against the novel disease.
“Please (referring to the government) permit us to go and pray for COVID-19 patients. Allow us to go there (isolation centres), that is why there are men of God,” he said.
“If you are really anointed to pray for the sick, this is the time because what is holding the world is sickness. So, we’re begging the government to permit us into isolation centres, that is the only way we can reduce this nonsense because it will improve everyday.
“There are people with the gift of healing, God has gifted them to pray for the sick. It is not fake, gimmick or arranged. It is there in them. Permit us so that we can prove there are prophets in Nigeria.”
He added that such permission from the government would also reduce the backlash many pastors have been getting on social media about their perceived inability to do anything about the pandemic.
“Permit us so that the ridicule and all that can reduce. We’re not telling you we can heal all of them but by the time we are through with them, you’ll see significant difference. If they are 20 before, at least 18 will be cleared because that is what God can do,” he said.
Suleman further stretches the list of religious leaders who believe the killer virus could be handled through divine intervention.

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control NCDC has warned Nigerians against drinking bleach to treat COVID-19.
This advise comes days after William Bryan, acting head of the US Department of Homeland Security’s Science and Technology Directorate, presented the results of US government research that indicated Coronavirus appeared to weaken more quickly when exposed to sunlight and heat.
The study also claimed that bleach could kill the virus in saliva or respiratory fluids within five minutes and isopropyl alcohol could kill it even more quickly.
NCDC in a post shared on its Twitter handle, warned Nigerians not to attempt to ingest bleach as Nigeria continues to battle the Coronavirus pandemic. The agency says ingesting bleach exposes a person to health complications and even death.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu at a press briefing on Saturday April 25, disclosed that mortuaries in the state are now full and need urgent de-congestion.
The Lagos State Governor said mortuaries in the state are not full due to Coronavirus cases, but because residents of the state have been unable to gather to hold burial ceremonies for their loved ones due to the lockdown order in the state.
Sanwo-Olu also outlined new measures to ensure the decongestion of mortuaries in the state.
He said;
“Because of this inability to hold funerals, occasioned by the restriction on movement, the mortuaries in Lagos State are now full and in urgent need of decongestion. Let me make it clear at this point that these are not Covid-19 deaths.
“I am now constrained to make this appeal to all Lagosians who have the corpses of loved ones in the mortuaries, to please go ahead and schedule these funerals.
“The mortuaries in Lagos are not full because of Covid-19 deaths –the total number of Covid-19 deaths in Lagos as at today is 20; the only reason the mortuaries are full at this time is because funerals are not being held, and have not been held for most of the last two months.
“Lagosians can hold or attend funeral ceremonies in the state as long as they comply with the requirements of the state, which are as follows:
• The total number of persons at the funeral, including officiating religious leaders, must not exceed 20.
• Physical distancing must be maintained at the funeral ceremony.
• All attendees/mourners must use masks and ensure they wash their hands after the
ceremony.
• There must be no receptions or parties to accompany the funerals.
“If we are unable to see a decongestion of the mortuaries across the state in the next two weeks, the Lagos State Government will be compelled to carry out mass burials to achieve this. We do not want to be forced to do this, which is why we are asking for your cooperation in this regard.”

It is often said that twins are inseparable, even in death and this have been proven in a recent sad event that happened in the U.K
The twin sister of a nurse who died of Coronavirus has also died, just three days after her twin sister died.
Emma Davis, 37, also a former nurse, died at Southampton General Hospital on Friday, just three days after the death of identical twin Katy, who worked as a paediatric nurse at the same hospital
Emma’s death occurred hours after posting a tribute to her late twin sister.
Their deaths was confirmed by their sister, Zoe and she revealed the twins were unwell and suffering from underlying health conditions for a while.
‘They always said they had come into the world together and would go out together as well,’ she told the BBC. There are no words to describe how special they were.’
Katy’s colleagues at Southampton Children’s Hospital, where she worked as the child health risk and patient safety lead, have now paid tribute to her.
Paediatric senior Sarah Chittock said: ‘Dearest Katy, what an inspirational nurse and young lady. Would go out of her way to help others.
‘Katy always wore a smile and the most wonderful sparkly eye shadow. Your memory will continue to sparkle in the children’s hospital.’

Nollywood actor, Uchemba Williams has in a recent interview disclosed the reason why he thinks a lot of people thought him to be a fraudster.
In his interview with Sun News, the actor and Instagram sensation shares how he copes with female attention and weird experience with a female fan?
Williams says,
“I love my female fans always. I think for me I’m used to it because I have been on the limelight for over 22 years, since I was a child. So, it doesn’t come as a shock to me. All I have to do, is wear a smile, dress well, smell nice, and be kind to people. Even though some people can be insensitive. Sometimes they see you in a very serious place they just come in and interrupt you, you just have to be calm because most times they can’t control themselves. I try as much as I can to keep my distance. I’m a very strict person. I am disciplined. I keep boundaries always but however, they are my people and I love them.”
Not many brands are strong enough to rise after the kind of controversy Uchemba Williams faced – where he was accused of fraud on social media… in his interview, he recalls how he was able to handle that period with grace.
He says,
“I tell people what happened, I guess if it was in the US wouldn’t have happened because unfortunately we are in a country people don’t do their findings before they lay accusations and blow it out of proportion. I was accused and they tagged me a fraudster. That I defraud people in the US and UN.
The funniest thing is why was I not arrested? Why didn’t you hear in the news that Williams Uchemba has been arrested? When I called out the people that claimed I scammed them to come out or meet me at EFCC, how come no one came out? When the guy that started the whole thing saw that I was false and apologized, why didn’t the media carry it? There was an apology.
I always say something once your hands are clean you will always win. I have never for once taken anything that doesn’t belong to me, never for once lied about something that I’m not, after the controversy the next month I traveled and I attended the same conference that they claimed I was not the Deputy Youth Representative for.
Some people want you to fail, especially if they can’t understand why you are been blessed so much. Also God wanted to use this to let people know that he truly exists. Somebody said to me, ‘ Williams in 3 years you won’t have any movies job or endorsements deal’, he didn’t finish saying that, the next week I got my real estate brand ambassador deal.
It happened in December, I got the deal in January. That year was the best year, so far of my entire career. I did two blockbusters movies, one was 300 million the other was 280 million.
When God is on your side and your hands are clean you would make it through. Always holding on to Jesus.”
The moment a helpless mother watched her son battle with Coronavirus was captured on video and it is no doubt that the video clip is a very sad one to watch.
Dr. Anna Zimmerman – a neonatologist in Denver, Colorado – took her four-year-old son Lincoln to the hospital on March 30 after he had high fever and cough.
The mother-of-three, a neonatologist specializing in the treatment of premature and sick newborn infants, said,
“He just keeps getting worse. So as a doctor, I could see those medical things happening. And as a mom, it’s just gut-wrenching, right? As a parent, I was just focused on trying to stay calm while he was having a coughing spasm.”
Her son, as she described in medical terms, had retractions – when the muscles between the ribs move.
Zimmerman and her husband kept a close eye on the spread of Coronavirus in Italy and China – and took their children out of their extracurricular activities just days before Colorado schools closed.
Gracefully, Lincoln has now recovered from the virus and is back with his family.

A mentally challenged man identified as Chigorom Ezeofor, 37, pictured, has been apprehended by men of the Anambra state police command for allegedly killing his father in Unuchiana village, Aguata Local Government Area of the state today, April 25, 2020.
Police spokesperson, Haruna Mohammed who confirmed the incident, revealed that men of the Aguata police station on Saturday at about 9am, received a report from one Timothy Ezeofor that his 70-year-old elder brother named Godwin Ezeofor was allegedly murdered by his 37 year old son, Chigorom Ezeofor using an Axe. Timothy added that the suspect has been mentally ill for the past eight years.
Following the report, officers attached to Aguata Division led by the DPO CSP Ayeni Oluwadare mobilised to the scene, took photographs of the victim and rushed to the hospital where he was certified dead by a medical doctor and the corpse deposited at the Hospital’s mortuary for autopsy.
The police spokesperson added that exhibit were recovered and the suspect who “looked insane” was arrested and taken to the station for discreet investigation to ascertain circumstances surrounding the incident.
A 30-year-old suspected kidnapper, Salahatu Haruna, 30, has given the reasons why he abducted his elder brother, Yakubu Haruna, and killed his 7-year-old nephew in Bingiyaro, Kaduna State.
Haruna was apprehended with Isa Yakubu and Umaru Musa – Musa was allegedly paid N10,000 for knowing about the planned abduction of Yakubu, but kept quiet about it.
Salahatu organised the gang that abducted his elder brother. On the fateful night of the abduction of Yakubu, the kidnappers opened fire and shot the victim’s son on his head, killing him instantly.
The kidnappers would later demand N3m and after negotiation, N1m ransom was collected from Yakubu for his freedom. Salahatu was given N200,000 as his share of the ransom.
He was, however, busted when he started throwing money around. Some members of his village, suspicious of his sudden wealth, tipped-off operatives of the IRT.
The operatives launched investigation and soon found out that Salahatu had a hand in his brother’s abduction and nephew’s death.
During interrogation, Salahatu said,
“I wasn’t angry with my elder brother, but I organised his abduction because I had no money or food to feed my two wives and nine children.
I equally do not have enough money to spend as a man. I was too ashamed to beg my brother for money because there is a sort of rivalry between his wives and mine.
I’m pained that I got my nephew killed. I believe that it was my nephew’s destiny to die young. I want the police to give me a second chance.”
Nollywood actress, Kehinde Olorunyomi took to her Twitter and Instagram pages respectively to warn wives to beware when their husbands begin to discipline the house girl excessively.
Kehinde opines that for any husband to do such, it’s either he’s sleeping with the house help or it’s because she’s resisting his advances.
She wrote on Twitter,
“When your husband beats your house help too much, be vigilant my sister, he is sleeping with her or the girl is proving difficult to sleep with.”
Kehinde also added on Instagram,
“When you employ a female help, the onus is on the woman of the house to correct and sometimes discipline the help. But when your husband is on this train and is in total charge, in fact he loves to be the one to cane the girl, be vigilant my sister! My 2 kobo. Have a beautiful weekend! Freedom is coming tomorrow!!!”
Sensational RnB pop star, Beyoncé has joined the rest of affluent people in the world in the mission to raise awareness and funds for pandemic, Covid-19 relief.

Saudi Arabia’s Supreme Court on April 25, 2020 announced that it has abolished flogging as a form of punishment.
The Supreme Court said the recent development is intended to “bring the kingdom into line with international human rights norms against corporal punishment” – it also added that it is part of the reforms pushed by King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz and his son, the kingdom’s de facto ruler, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS).
Crd: Middle East Eye
