The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) says Sunday’s explosion which occurred at Abule Ado, Trade Fair axis of Lagos State was not caused by a disruption of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) oil pipeline.
Mr Ibrahim Farinloye, Acting Coordinator, Lagos Territorial Office, NEMA, made the clarification in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos.
Farinloye said that contrary to information earlier put out on the social media, the explosion which occurred at about 9a.m. was unconnected to pipeline vandalism.
“From the information given by officials of the Lagos State Fire Service who are currently on ground, the implosion is not connected to pipeline but might have occurred in a factory located in the Abule Ado area.
“Emergency responders are on ground while others are still on their way to the scene. The situation is under control and we hope to get more information soon to ascertain its cause,” he said.
Farinloye said the NNPC had shutdown the pipeline passing through the area as a precautionary measure after the oil company was notified of the incident.
He also confirmed that several buildings were affected by the explosion which was heard several kilometers away in many parts of the state including Amuwo Odofin, Ijegun, and Agege.

People may judge your decisions but it still doesn’t change the fact that it’s YOUR page.

Five years after singer, Chukie Edozien, aka Lynxxx, announced to his fans that he has become a born-again Christian, his numerous fans are still waiting on him to release a gospel song to conform with his new status.
During a chat with Saturday Beats, the ‘Fine Lady’ crooner, who sometime ago, declared that it is not a sin to take alcoholic drinks, stressed that he has not been directed by God to become a gospel singer.
He said, “It has been five years since I have been a born again Christian and I’ve never said I am doing gospel music. I am still Lynxxx and I still make good music. The only difference is that my lifestyle has changed. I am not releasing a gospel music or album anytime soon because I don’t feel like God has pointed me in that direction. However, expect new music from me.”
Lunxx also disclosed that he has been spending his time building businesses instead of doing music for now. “For the past five years, I have been building businesses. To be realistic, I cannot bequeath a music career to my children but I can give them businesses I have built for them to inherit. I no longer think about myself alone. Now, I am concerned with building and leaving something for generations to come. If I have been able to sustain myself without making music for a certain period, it means I have been doing the right thing by thinking of more ways to generate income.”, he added.
He however admitted that music had done amazing things for him. “Music did amazing thing for me by putting me in key positions to be able to build further. Everyone needs to understand that knowing someone for something doesn’t mean that is what the person will die doing. If one doesn’t invest in more streams of income, when the music stops selling, how would one be able to sustain oneself? I have a background in business, so for me, it is beyond just music.”
Nollywood Actress, Motunrayo Oluwakemi a.k.a Motunrayotohset, has cried out over the inability of men to take their eyes off her big butts.

He then sent me a message on social media, asking me to name my price. I was furious and asked him what he meant by that. He said I should understand what he meant, that he wanted to send me some money to come over and spend some time with him, I blocked him immediately. I am busty but then I know the only thing my male fans like about me is my butts. They can’t just get their eyes off it.”
However, Motunrayo is engaged to the love of her life, but wouldn’t want to reveal his identity yet.
“To me, love means knowing that no matter what, you have someone to count on. It’s unconditional and makes you feel good on the inside. You can trust the person you love and you are comfortable around them. It’s like your heart tells you that it is good for you. Love never hurts nor makes you cry your eyes out. Love is selfless and unconditional. It means putting somebody else’s wants, needs and goals before yours, and never letting them lose sight of it.”

See his tweet below:
Ladies, you should submit to your husband and honor his sacrifice with love and respect. Don’t take the path of feminist, it is meant to break up families and destroy homes and lineages. Stay true to your nature and be happy.
The most submissive wife always gets the best of the family's future. Typically, the wife of Late Amir of Kano, Ado Bayero have two of her sons as First Class Amirs.
I hear say one lady, who has lost touch with her self-worth, left her marriage because she can't stand submission
Former Big Brother Africa star and actress, Beverly Osu in a recent interview revealed her plans on getting married.
The video vixen said, “I am not thinking about marriage at the moment. I just want to be great.”
The actress cum model, also recounted on how she once got physical with a fan who got on her nerves in Ghana.
“There was a day I got very angry in a club in Ghana. A fan had walked up to me and asked for a stick of cigarette because back then, I used to smoke. I told the person I couldn’t spare one because that was the last stick I had. She then said ‘That’s why nobody likes you’. It was bad because that statement got to me. She messed with me at the wrong time because I dragged her by the hair,” she told Punch.
Wondering if Ms Osu who stunned her fans sometime ago when she released some pictures of herself wearing a nun’s habit and smoking a cigarette, is regretting that move?
Well, she says, “I don’t have any restrictions in my life. I just go with the flow. I do whatever my mind tells me to do, so far I feel it is right at that moment. If it’s something that anyone would regret in two days, that is the person’s business. I go with what I feel is right at any particular moment. I am not someone that lives with regret. I am working on being the best version of myself at all times.”
TV star, actress and entrepreneur, Lilian Afegbai, has said nothing can make her quit her acting career, even if its her spouse.
The Benson Idahosa University graduate insisted that she could never quit her career for any man.
“I won’t consider quitting my career for marriage. Whoever will love me, will love me for everything that I am. I will complement him and I expect him to complement me too. I am a producer and entrepreneur; that shows that I am a workaholic,” she told Punch.
On her worst social media experience, Afegbai said, “My worst social media experience was when I came back from Big Brother Africa and I read the awful things people said about me. I just broke down in tears because those people didn’t really know me or understood me. The things they said really broke my heart. I am not a scandalous person. I like to mind my business and focus on my work. I have tried to stay scandal free because I want to get to the top and I want my work to take me far.”
On the kinds of roles she desires to play, Lilian Afegbai said, “I look forward to playing the role of a gangster in a movie, jumping from one tall building to the other. However, I have yet to get that kind of role.”
The former Big Brother Africa contestant also talked about moments she battled depression, “My journey into the entertainment industry wasn’t really easy. Apparently, when I participated in Big Brother Africa, it gave me a huge platform but upon coming out of the house, I had to struggle to be seen as an entrepreneur. I remembered a time when I was depressed because I felt I was stagnant and I was finding it hard to do better. But luckily for me, I had the right people around me to tell me the truth, and they encouraged me on how to go about it. So far, I cannot help but be thankful for the platforms, my fans, and family for the huge love and support I have got.”

In a video making the rounds on micro blogging platform, twitter, Edochie said that when a child is born and looks sickly, he or she is suspected to be an ‘Ogbanje’(spirit child) and a mark is put on the child’s hand.
Edochie further says that the child eventually dies and then if the child comes back to the world, the spirit of a different gender might still be inside of him which may cause homosexuality.
Homosexuality is an issue that has become quite prevalent in the society and social media has also further helped to popularized it.
