Grammy Award winning rapper, Cardi B yesterday visited the Lions Village motherless babies home in Lagos.
Sharing a few pictures from her visit, the 27 year old mother in her post thanked the staff at the home for the care given to the kids saying, “Gotta thank the ladies and the gentlemen that nurtured these kids that need just a little bit of more love and protection and gear them up for a better place ,destiny and future.People like YALL MATTER !”

Rapper, Jarad Anthony Higgins popularly known as Juice Wrld has died at the age of 21 after suffering a seizure, TMZ reports.
The American rapper, who has worked with the likes of Nicki Minaj and Travis Scott, is said to have suffered a seizure at Chicago’s Midway airport on Sunday morning shortly after arriving at the airport on a flight from California.
According to TMZ, police sources said the rapper had suffered the seizure while walking through the airport and was bleeding from the mouth when paramedics arrived.
Juice, was still conscious when he was taken to a hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after.
Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele-Bello syas despite her love for cooking, she doesn’t cook for the family in the morning.
The Nollywood icon made this known in a recent interview.
She said; “Inasmuch as I love cooking, I don’t often find time to cook. I still cooked last night but I don’t cook every morning because of my busy schedule. I cook every time I am free and have nothing on my plate.My special dishes are vegetable soups. I love cooking vegetable soup (efo riro) very well and I either eat it with eba or fufu. Bishop David Oyedepo, Founder and General Overseer of Winners Chapel who preached at his church’s annual programme ‘Shiloh 2019’ days ago, told the story of how a Shiloh flyer on which his photo was present on, started speaking in tongues and saved some kidnap victims.
According to the cleric, the female kidnap victim was taken to a dungeon where other victims were kept by her abductors and in the midst of the pandemonium, a Shiloh flyer which had his photo began speaking in tongues after falling out of a bag the lady threw at the kidnappers who tried taking her baby.
He added that kidnappers became unconscious, after which the lady took their knife; cut loose her rope and that of other kidnap victims.

A Nigerian man has been apprehended by residents of Post Service Army Estate in Ojo, Lagos for allegedly setting his girlfriend on fire for allegedly cheating on him.
The suspect has been identified as Victor Oji from Benue State. When asked about his profession, Victor disclosed that he is an internet fraudster. He also denied claims of setting his girlfriend on fire as a way of sacrificing her.

Deontay Wilder has lambasted Anthony Joshua for his “weak winning mentality” after the British-Nigerian boxer defeated Andy Ruiz on Saturday night in Saudi Arabia to reclaim his four heavyweight title.
Joshua, won with points and during the fight could be seen moving around the ring to avoid getting a knock out punch from Ruiz and the WBC Heavyweight Champion of the world, Wilder has now slammed the boxer’s tactics saying if he was the one that Ruiz had knocked out in the first fight, he would have put Ruiz’s body on the ground, while also warning fans not to get their hopes up of a Joshua- Wilder rematch.
Wilder, told The Athletic on Sunday morning: “Joshua did what he had to do to get the win. He ran around the ring and was on his bike all day,
“Basically, he had Klitschko in the camp and he was a lot like Klitschko. That jab-grab-hold method. That’s all he did tonight.
“You want to dominate guys, man. Maybe I’m just too rough, too hard-core and too much of a dream for this time and era, maybe the world wants that nice s***.
“My mentality is so different from these other fighters. But when I think of myself as a champion, you want to come out there and whoop his ass.

The Department of State Security, DSS has said its officers did not arrest Omoyele Sowore, convener of the #RevolutionNow movement, in court, claiming that the journalist’s supporters were only acting an “orchestrated drama”.
A statement signed by Peter Afunanya, DSS’ Public Relations Officer, the state secret police, said there were none of its officers involved in the incidents recorded in the courtroom.

It has become important that the Department of State Services responds to the serial misinformation being circulated in the media about its involvement in the incident that occurred on 6th December, 2019 at the Federal High Court, Abuja.
It is instructive to note that during the court proceeding of the day under reference, Defence Counsel, Femi FALANA (SAN), called the attention of the Judge to a suspicion that the Service was planning to re-arrest Omoyele SOWORE immediately after the court session.
The Court discountenanced his alarm and asserted that the Service was law abiding and would not engage in such and subsequently adjourned to February, 2020.
However, when SOWORE stepped out of the court and sighted operatives of the Service within the premises, he ran back into the courtroom. In a bid to shield him from an imaginary arrest, his uncontrollable supporters mobbed him while chanting “you can’t arrest him” thus the pandemonium that ensued.
A critical look at the videos in circulation would convince any objective viewer that there was no DSS personnel during the entire period the Sowore crowd acted out its orchestrated drama. Its personnel were never, at any time, involved in the incident. In actual fact, it was his people who seized him. And from the latest developments, it has become obvious what the intent for such mischief was meant for – simply to serve a propagandist purpose as well as bring the Service to disrepute.
Eye witness and several media accounts have disclosed that the Court had adjourned peacefully without an untoward incident when suddenly the unruly crowd imported into the Courtroom went into frenzy on the mere suspicion that DSS was sighted at the court premises. The eventual re-arrest of Sowore by the DSS was effected outside the courtroom. His lead counsel has affirmed this.
The DSS, as a professional, responsible and law abiding Organization, could not have invaded a courtroom including the one presided over by a respected Judge who is not only handling its case but whose Order was unconditionally obeyed within a 24 hour ultimatum. The Service holds the judiciary in utmost respect and will continue to work with it for national peace and public safety in Nigeria.
It has therefore become unarguable and raises a moral question as to who, between Sowore and the Service, dislikes or disobeys the Courts. In this regard, public attention may be drawn to the 25th July 2019 statement of SOWORE that “I’m not talking of protest. I’m embarking on revolution… Don’t tell me about legal implications or what a Judge will say. I don’t care …” On 5th December when SOWORE was released, he had, at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja addressed a group of persons who, he reassured of his cause to create anarchy in the country.
It may be recalled that the Service had on 3rd December, 2019 raised alarm about a plot to destabilize the country. It is quite remarkable that the plot has already started playing out.
To ensure this objective is further achieved, some persons and groups are scurrying to seize the opportunity of the misleading court incident and the wrong narrative against the DSS to organize an insurrection in the country. They have continued to falsely curry and mobilize international sentiments and attention, through clear misrepresentation of the facts, for their selfish ends.
For emphasis, it should be noted that SOWORE is facing trial not as an activist, journalist or a politician, but for his resort to call for violence, forceful takeover of government and suspected transnational illegal activities.
It is most unfortunate that SOWORE, shortly after being released from custody, based on court order, resorted to acts inimical to security. To this effect, only SOWORE has been re-arrested as his co-defendant, Olawale BAKARE, was not picked up even when FALANA had promised to deliver him to the Service that is not presently interested in him.
Though sections of the populace have been fed with spurious narratives about these developments, Nigerians and the International Community should not be gullible or even vulnerable to the machinations of groups desirous of misleading them.
The Service is committed to the discharge of its mandate of detecting and preventing threats against the internal security of Nigeria. It supports democracy in the country and will do all that is legal to protect it. It will also ensure that efforts of anti-democratic forces are frustrated.

Ghanaian actor, John Dumelo, has thrown more light on why he pulled down his post on the need for the legalization of Polyandrous and Polygamous marriages in Ghana.
Speaking on the special Farmer’s day edition of Joy FM’s Metropolitan Mix hosted by Mamavi Owusu Aboagye, he stated that the plan was to pull down the post after a few minutes before he even posted it.

British boxer Anthony Joshua defeated Andy Ruiz Jr. on Saturday, in a highly anticipated heavyweight title rematch in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia, dubbed the “Clash on the Dunes.”
The two boxers had met in June in New York City, when Ruiz Jr. defeated the Brit in one of the most shocking upsets in the sport.
This time, Joshua handedly won the fight. The British boxer was composed and dictated the pace of the match throughout, leaving Ruiz Jr. no chances except for the possibility of a knockout, which the Mexican-American ultimately could not deliver.
Andy has blamed his under-performance and defeat in their rematch on three months of partying and celebration.
The boxer who rolled out his excuses at the post match conference, said he partied, became overweight and under-trained for the rematch which took place in Saudi Arabia on Saturday December 7.
Andy Ruiz said: “Three months of partying and celebrating affected me, what can I say?
“Being overweight, I wasn’t fluid enough, I wasn’t moving the way I wanted to move.

The 35-year-old man in Ghana, Kofi Bandoli, was arrested by Awutu Bereku district police station for beating his wife into a state of coma after he caught her having sex with another man in their matrimonial bed.
It was gathered that the man went to work and tried to call his wife who was at home for some information but tried several times and couldn’t reach her.
He then decided to go home and see whether something had happened to her because this was unusual.

Ailing Nollywood veteran, Kayode Odumosu apopularly known as Pa Kasuma, has lost his sight completely after a protracted illness.
Pa Kasumu has been nursing both liver and heart ailments that affected his memory and eyesight.
Pa Kasumu, 66, reportedly went completely blind after failing to raise sufficient money to fund his trip to India to continue his treatment.
The Nollywood Icon was first reported ill in 2013 when he suffered a partial stroke He had gone to India in 2015 for treatment and his condition improved .
Odumosu on his return to Nigeria after his first trip to India confessed that his vision had improved due to constant use of eye drops and that he no longer feels pain in his body. He was required to return to India two months after the initial trip.
The actor’s condition reportedly worsened in 2017 after he was unable to raise sufficient fund for the second trip to India for further treatment.
