Man brutally stabs his 3-year-old son to death, says he “sacrificed him to God”

A South-African man identified as Thabang Ngobeni, 25, stabbed his 3-year-old son to death because he believed that sacrificing the child would “cleanse him of the evil that has befallen him”

The body of the boy, Mohau was found in the veld with multiple stab wounds to his face and chest.

“We were alerted to the situation shortly after 16:00,” said Hercules CPF chairman, Johan van Staden. “The body was found not long afterwards.”

Xander Loubser of Bestcare paramedics was part of the search party that found the child’s body.

“When we found him, his little body was already cold,” said Loubser.

Sam Ngobeni, the murder suspect’s father told journalists that his son said he had taken the child into the veld to “offer him to God”

It is alleged that the suspect returned home later and just sat down on a chair, emotionless, his hands and clothes still covered in blood.

“How it could have happened. I do not know what got into him,” said a traumatised Ngobeni. “I was so shocked, I did not know what to say or do. All I want is closure.”

According to family members Thabang apparently took Mohau into a veld near the informal settlement on Bremer Street where the toddler was physically assaulted and stabbed multiple times.

Naira Marley was not lying when he said ”Big Booty is better than having a masters degree- Actress, Etinosa Says

Etinosa, Nigerian actress and comedienne, Etinosa has backed Naira Marley’s comment that Big booty is greater than a Masters degree in Nigeria.

Recall Naira Marley posted this on his Twitter handle last week and received a lost of sticks for it.

However, the controversial actress is supporting the singer’s statement.

Singer Naira Marley

According to her, many people know that this is the truth but would rather live in denial. Read her post below

In her words ;

There are Three kinds of people in Nigeria right now:
Those that don’t know what a Marlian is (only 20% of Nigerians fall under this category) The rest are:
Those that are Marlians
And those that pretend not to be Marlians.

My conscience bugs me. I can’t let that innocent boy collect insult alone when he was right and we all know it but hypocrisy won’t let us see road and be objective.

Therefore I jointly confirm:

BIG BOOTY is > Masters in Nigeria, a country where PhD holders queue to apply for Driver Position in Refineries (I worked in O & G for 3 years. Trust me, I know)
Instead of leaders to attack and discredit the person who said it they should accept the bitter truth, find out why this is so and work at improving things, making sure that in three years to come, this claim is no longer true.
How do you effect change when you are living in denial?

”You stood by me against all odds” – E-Money appreciates his wife on their 10th Wedding Anniversary.

Popular Nigerian Music Mogul and business man, Emeka Okonkwo A.k.A E-money, is marking his 10th wedding anniversary with his wife and he took to his social media page to eulogize her.

E-Money stated that people see the good life he’s living now but they don’t know the back story to it and how his wife believed and supported his dreams through and through.

Read his lengthy post below ;

I woke up this morning feeling butterflies in my tummy. The same butterflies I have been feeling for over 15 years since I met you. And of course darling, our marriage is already 10 years old today. Reminiscing on the last 15 years and I cannot but thank God for ensuring our paths crossed. If not, the E-Money many know today may have just remained another Emeka on the streets of Ajegunle. You will come over to Mama’s shop in Ajegunle then, not ashamed of me. You saw Emeka then and you believed in what could come out of him. You stood by me against all odds. Indeed, from the black pot, my white pap was produced. How time flies !

Yes Juliet, we are already a decade in this union. Waow!!! God saw my need and made our paths cross; for this, I will always have cause to thank God. Many see the glamour today, you saw the dream, and believed in it even when it was not obvious to the discerning. You equally saw my struggles, the downs. You encourage me to try again when it seems like I am losing; always reminding me that nothing is impossible, that the next attempt may just be the jackpot. You are right, we made it. Yes ‘we’, because everything I am today, I owe it to God, an almost spartan lifestyle and to you, my dear doting wife.

Lolo, you were my first love and only true love. You have given me handsome sons that call me daddy and you, mummy. You give me a heart that can help bear my burden. You give me prayer support in both good and bad times.
You have been a true source of help to me and I cannot thank you enough. Your support drives me to keep trying. You gave me a home which is a definition of peace. You give me and our children everything we demand of you, without requesting for anything in return . You are a true wife and I love you. You are my joy, support, backbone and engine room.

On this auspicious occasion, babe, I pray the Almighty meets you at the points of your need. You shall be a mother of many nations. People will see you and bow.

To a century of our union, I assure you of my unflinching and total love. I thank you so much, my virtuous wife.

Called his line it was switched off, checked his office he wasn’t there, nobody knows his whereabout.

When he was later Found around 5am, he wasn’t emotional, no sign of emergency act through him, he wasn’t audible enough when he started asking question, no first aid treatment except from the one given from the nurse, the worst part of it was that he kept insisting he wants to go pray (as a Muslim All of this was around 5:30am cos I kept checking the time.

He wrote all what to get… Ran to get them and got back. He told me to get another stuffs, went to get them… During this period he was already at the mosque.. He got back around after 6 and my son was already weak…He kept attending to other people (tho I’m not really against that but those people are not even emergency cases cos they were only complaining about headache or body pain) During this period my son couldn’t breath fine again and he said he will need to transfer us to ikeja costhere’s no bed to admit him.. to cut the long story short. I lost my son around 10am in the morning… No treatment given, no first aid except from oxygen given, all items bought was wasted, no effort shown at all, even at his death bed no emotion at all… I’m not writing this cos I feel I should write it… I already promised the doctor I’m gonna file a petition against him for incompetency… I don’t know his name but I know they will surely search for his name through their register… He was on night shift and he’s a muslim… If we don’t do this,

they won’t take government work serious. They feel government can’t do nothing to them that’s why they keep wasting lives ??…

“The roads are not as bad as they are often portrayed. I know that this is going to be your headline, but the roads are not that bad,” he said.

“When I come here to announce that a particular amount was approved for a contract that doesn’t mean the amount has been paid contrary to what you suggest.

“You are mindful also that minister of finance, different arms of government are escalating the fiscal challenges we face as a nation in trying to fund the budget.

“You are also mindful that the last few budgets in Nigeria for almost 20 years have been deficit budgets and these are terminologies that are realities and I think we should acquaint ourselves with if we are not just to report the news but also educate the public.

“You must also be aware that between awarding a contract and also mobilizing to the site there is a distance. First of all, we have to have an agreement that is the relationship between the ministry of works or any other ministry and the ministry of justice, then there is a role that banks play, they have to give a guarantee.

“The process of producing blasting rocks requires approval from the office of ministers of justice and even the office of the NSA to get approval to get dynamite. All of these are the things that go on. So the point that I am making to you is that there is a distance between approval, implementation, actual construction and the result.”

Speaking further, the minister said road construction projects will be continued when the rains are over.

“So what we experienced in this year is unusual, it’s not a good time to be in the transport system. We also want this season to quickly end so that we can go back to work during the dry weather.”

Fashola assured Nigerians of a massive mobilization of contractors for roads rehabilitation ahead of the yuletide season.
