There was serious Pandemonium in Jos after core fans of Davido were left disappionted as the singer was a no-show at a concert in Jos, Plateau State.
The singer was supposed to attend the mega fiesta in Jos. He had also put up a notice on his verified page about his visit to Jos, but on the day of the event, he couldn’t show up due to undisclosed reasons.

A lady is currently on the run after allegedly leaving indelible marks on the face of her friend, following a dispute over N950 in Umuahia, Abia State.
Giving an account of what happened, someone in the know, Eva, said: “On Friday, 28th November 2019, one miss Chikaodi Umeh — who is a friend to Onyinyechi Abaruo — went out drinking with their mutual friend, Nene.

Onyinyechi later went to join them, but as she was arriving, Chikaodi’s male friend who was hosting them, was about to leave and Chikaodi pleaded with him to give her some money to enable her buy more drinks for Onyinyechi who just came in. The guy then gave Chikaodi the sum of N2000 and left.

And Chikaodi went ahead to buy 5 bottles of beer which amounted to N1,050 and was left with N950 which she decided to keep. But that got Onyinyichi angry and questioned why Chikaodi would keep the money to herself. This resulted in a dispute and later a fight between them.

After the fight, Chikaodi left but forgot her body lotion on the table.
She later called their other friend, Nene — who invited Onyinyechi in the first place — to please help her bring the lotion to kano street, uzoakoli road, umuahia.

However, while waiting for Nene to arrive, Onyinyechi stormed the place in a tricycle and told her: “this your fine face, I will disfigure it for you.” Then she brought out a sharp object and attacked her, leaving in a pool of blood before fleeing in the tricycle.

First Lady, Aisha Buhari, has come under intense criticism on social media for voicing her support for the social media bill which seeks to arrest and fine Nigerians who make annoying comments on social media.
Aisha had at the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs General Assembly and National Executive Council in Abuja said China regulated the social media of its over one billion citizens and Nigeria should be able to control its own population which is about 200 million.
She said, “On this issue of social media, you cannot just sit in the comfort of your house and tweet that the Vice President has resigned. It is a serious issue. If China can control over 1.3 billion people on social media, I see no reason why Nigeria cannot attempt controlling only 180 million people.”
However, Mrs. Buhari, who had in the past been commended by a large section of Nigerians for standing on the side of the people, came under criticism for her view. On Saturday morning, the President’s wife was trending at number one on Twitter.
Some Nigerians recalled how they defended Aisha on social media when the President relegated her and said she belonged to the kitchen and the other room.
They also recalled how they defended her when Mamman Daura’s family were giving her a hard time at the Presidential Villa.
They argued that since China had become the democratic model for Nigeria, then Nigeria must also adopt China’s method of fighting corruption which involves sentencing corrupt public office holders to death.

Actress, Georgina Onuoha is marking the second year anniversary of surviving an accident that nearly ended her life.
The former Nollywood actress was in a car with her friend on December, 2, 2017, when the car somersaulted multiple times.
Thankfully, they both survived, though Georgina needed blood transfusion afterwards.
Marking the anniversary on Instagram, she wrote:
Every 2nd of December is a reminder that God gave me a second chance to life to be a better version of me.
Two years ago in Denmark , I saw my life flash right in front of me as death came calling but God wasn’t done with me here on earth.

Some policemen were rescued by Good Samaritans after being involved in an accident along Nkwagu Army barracks road in Ebonyi state.
None of the security operatives died in the accident which occurred in the early hours of December 1, even though they sustained various degrees of injuries.

Embattled chief executive officer of Air Peace, Allen Onyema’s passport has been seized by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) after being indicted for bank fraud and laundering over $20 million from Nigeria through US bank accounts in a scheme involving false documents which he allegedly used in buying aeroplanes.
The passport of the Airline CEO was seized by the anti-graft agency after being grilled by its operatives over his involvement in the alleged scam.
A EFCC source told The Nation that the anti-graft agency needs to establish a prima facie case, arraign the suspect in court before any extradition application can be initiated.
“Following his interaction with our detectives, it became imperative to restrict his movement to the country because we will need him from time to time,” the newspaper quoted a source in the commission have said.
“We have seized his passports for an unfettered comprehensive investigation. And so far, he has cooperated with our team.
“During our interaction, he maintained his innocence. We have, however, made progress in our preliminary investigation.
“The extradition process is within the purview of the Office of the Attorney-General of the Federation. You should not forget that the EFCC has to investigate, establish prima facie case and arraigning the suspects in court before any extradition application can be initiated.
“The US government knows what to do as far as the invocation of the MLAT is concerned. We are only fulfilling our own part of the collaboration with the relevant US agencies.”

Gbenro Ajibade has revealed that his marriage to Osas Ighodaro has been annulled.
The Actor was a guest on Rubbin’ minds, a Channels TV programme, with Ebuka.. and he revealed on the show that he and his, ‘now ex-wife’ are currently divorced and they are co-parenting their only child.
Remember in February 2019, Gbenro Ajibade called out Osas, accusing her of neglecting their child multiple times.
He revealed that Osas neglects their child for several all night partying and hangout with friends.
In this new interview with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Gbenro revealed they are fully divorced and are co-parenting. When asked what is the situation with his marriage to Osas, he replied “We are not together anymore”,

Ghanaian Singer, Fuse ODG has denied saying Ghanaian DJs should stop playing Nigerian music on radio stations and in clubs.
Fuse, who claimed he will never ask for such, said all he asked for was limited airplay for Nigerian music so Ghanaian music can thrive.
He also alleged that there is a policy in Nigeria for radio stations to play 80% of Nigerian music, a move he claimed has helped in repackaging and increased sales of Nigerian music. Fuse ODG asked Ghanaians to learn from this to sell their music at world stage.

Actress Moesha Boduong has been accused of having a special cushion she sits on after undergoing a butt lift.
Moesha who confirmed news of her surgery after photos and videos of her new humongous curves made headlines in August 2019, was spotted sitting on a ‘black material’ at a recent event leading to speculation of the Ghanaian actress making an adjustment in her life after the plastic surgery.
There was pandemonium today after a massive fire outbreak razed 15 shops at Owode-Onirin Market, Ikorodu area of Lagos, Southwest Nigeria.
Goods worth millions of naira were destroyed with traders left to groan in pains and agony over the loss of their properties.
The state’s emergency agency’s Director General, Dr. Femi Oke-Osanyintolu said that on arrival at the incident scene, it was observed that the fire emanated from one of the several lines of shop within the market.
“The cause of the fire is unknown as there was no power supply within the market. No lives lost but valuables were destroyed,” he said.
He added that the spread of fire is curtailed from further spread, adding that the fire razed 15 shops before it was put off.
The Canadian government is set to deport a Nigerian family five who claimed they fled to the country out of fear that their daughter would be subjected to female genital mutilation.
According to reports, Rasheedat Bakare, her husband Afeez, son Faaiq and daughter Faiqah all fled Nigeria and arrived in Canada in 2017. The family’s youngest daughter, Farhana, was born in Canada in 2018.
However, they were denied refugee status on Thursday and were told to leave the country by 3 p.m. on Friday. Speaking to CBC, the wife said: “My children’s life, my husband’s life is at risk. We ran away because they wanted to circumcise my baby girl — the one I brought from Nigeria. When I got to Canada, I had another baby girl. Currently, I’m pregnant with another baby girl. Now I’ll have three baby girls and all of their lives are going to be at risk.”
On Friday afternoon, after Rasheedat — who is approximately five months pregnant — collapsed and was rushed to hospital, the government issued a temporary delay on the deportation order.
Afeez Bakare said he’s not sure when he and his family will be required to leave. He said: “I don’t want my life and my family to be in danger. My wife is in a state where she is restless, she cannot do anything.”
