Just day after the tragic fire incident in Ochanja Market in Onitsha, another fire incident was witnessed in the early hours of today October 18, after a fuel tanker crashed and spilled its content at Omagba Phase in Onitsha, Anambra state..
Eyewitnesses said no life was lost in the fire incident which began by 2:30a.m.

It was further learnt that the fire was contained by the Anambra Fire Service within an hour but after it destroyed some cars in the community.
A Nigerian man has announced that he lost his father to the Ochanja market, Onitsha fire which also destroyed their shop.
The man identified as Gerald Ifeanyi Ogbuagu took to his facebook page to reveal he lost his father after he had initially sent out a distress message saying his father has been missing since the fire which consumed their shop in Ochaja market, Onitsha, Anambra state.
He further revealed he didn’t only lose his shop but also lost his father to the fire outbreak.
The fire started after a fuel tanker fell and exploded leading to a wide spread fire that consumed so many shops and lives in Ochanja market and its environs. It was indeed a black day in Anambra state.
According to reports, help didn’t come until after about 2 hours when Delta state fire service responded to the emergency.

The Federal Fire Service (FFS) has claimed that their firefighters were stopped from reaching the scene of the fire incident which occurred at Ochanja Market, Onitsha, Anambra State.
The fire broke out after a tanker fell and spilt its content at the market.
Unfortunately, firefighters were not on ground on time to put it out. This led to a huge loss of goods and properties.
A statement issued by the spokesperson of the agency, Ugo Huan, reads:
”The Federal Fire Service received a call about the fire outbreak around 2.00 p. m.
“The control room at the headquarters in Abuja immediately turned out its nearest station at Asaba, Delta State, to attend to the fire.
“Our men immediately headed to the scene but it was not possible to contend with the heavy traffic at the Niger head bridge, coupled with the behaviour of an angry mob who pelted stones at them.
“Thus, it was not possible for the firefighters to get to the scene and fight the fire in such a hostile environment.”
According to reports, five persons died in the inferno, including a woman and a child.
The spokesman added that the FFS Controller General, Mr Liman Ibrahim, expressed condolence to the families of the victims.
“The Federal Fire Service is committed to ensuring the safety of lives and property, with the procurement of new state-of-the-art firefighting trucks distributed to the 12 zones of the service across the nation.
“The service is always ready to respond to fire outbreaks and other emergencies across the nation.
“It is worthy to note that similar situations in recent past in Sokoto, Uyo, Minna, Ibadan, Osun and Lagos were prevented from escalating to a major disaster by the Federal Fire Service.
“The case of Ochanja market was an unfortunate one, as one will wonder why individuals will want to attack firefighters that came to help put out fire that was threatening lives and ravaging property,” he said.
Huan added that “the service will like to use this opportunity to appeal to Nigerians that in as much as the fire service is prepared and committed to saving of lives and property in emergencies, their support and cooperation is highly needed to do that.”

Word making rounds is that the American-based Ghanaian went for a date with a guy, who allegedly sedated her, by dropping a drug in her drink.
A close friend to the deceased, named as Lily, narrated what caused Naa’s death, by disclosing that, the sedation caused Naa to have complications.
“This friend allegedly put some sort of sedative drug into Naa’s drink which caused her to go into cardiac arrest. There was a delay in getting Naa adequate medical care and it is unknown how long she went without oxygen to the brain. As a result, all brain activity stopped” a screenshot her friend shared stated.

5. Swimming in love
One of the revelations at the birthday dinner was that Regina’s wealthy husband is a great swimmer. Freeze noted that he noticed Regina had wanted the pool left opened just before the dinner started and Prince Ned was quick to tell him how he taught his ‘baby’ how to swim. He narrated how he taught Regina how to swim in just 20 minutes and how he had taught 700 people how to swim in the last four years. “I taught Regina how to swim. I love sports, I swim very well and I love to teach two or three people at a time. I have taught over 700 people how to swim over the past four years,” Nwoko said. Corroborating her husband, Regina said, “He taught me how to swim. He is a very good swimmer and I learned in 20 mins. He started by pushing me into the pool and while I was trying not to drown, he kept on saying swim girl, swim.”
6. The Baby tag
Regina revealed to Daddy Freeze that she calls her husband ‘Baby’ when he asked what pet names they call themselves. Freeze had jokingly asked if she calls him daddy but she responded saying, ‘I call him baby. He’s my baby.’ For the wealthy Prince behind UK law firm, Ned Nwoko Solicitors, he’s delighted to be referred to as Regina’s ‘Baby’. The solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales excitedly told Freeze that he’s the youngest baby in town. “I’m actually the youngest baby in town,” he said while brimming with smiles.
7. Cooking in the house
Regina’s wealthy would not hear of her cooking or preparing any meal though she revealed in one of her YouTube videos that she loves cooking. Regina revealed that Prince Nwoko does not allow her to cook and anytime he sees her in the kitchen, he calls her out. “He doesn’t allow me to cook and anytime I try to cook, he chases me out of the kitchen saying why did he get cooks for me because he has more important things to talk to me about or do with me,” Regina says. Further lending support to her friend, Toyin Lawani said Prince Nwoko would not allow his wife nor her friends to get into the kitchen to cook.

There are currently viral videos and photos of a malnourished lady, standing under the Jubilee Bridge in the Ajah area of Lagos state.
Viral reports are claiming that the lady who was ‘big’ before was dropped off by a luxurious car.. and after she alighted she became lean.
Now in a new account by an Eye witness, identified as Wole Elekula has said that the woman was not thrown out of a moving car as claimed my multiple reports. He says she was found fully-clothed in a bush in Ajah by a man. The man who found her brought her to the road where she became a spectacle as people gathered to gawk at her for a whole day.
She reportedly took her clothes off the day after and stayed there until her story went viral and help came.
An update from those who took her off the road gave her name as Ene and said she has been taken to LUTH were tests have been carried.

Policemen around the area stayed away despite pleas .one even cane and shot 3 times in the air to disperse crowd but they never went close and people re gathered taking pictures and laughing.
“This girl could still be saved if taken to a mental rehab and possible spiritual help from a real babalawo not pastors who are majorly fake in real situations like this . Pastors stage miracles, deliverance , etc at least 95 percent.
“Until 9 pm the girl was still there without any attempt to rescue, the DPO was informed but failed to mobilize policemen. Am sure if they do their work the perpetrators can be caught especially now that it’s on all blogs someone might just recognize her and let us know her bf or who she was last seen with.”

Nollywood actress, Kemi Lala Akindoju has criticized Nigerians over the celebration of BBNaija’s first runner up, Mike.

Yesterday, a Lady became a viral sensation after her boyfriend stormed the venue of her final exam/sign out and sprayed her with cash for finally completing the many years she has spent in Abia State University.
The Lady identified as Favour Ijeoma Esi in a chat with YabaLeftOnline revealed that she had no idea her boyfriend had such stunt up his sleeves, adding that she was super excited about the whole ‘scene’.
She says they’ve been dating for 1 year and a few months, and their relationship has been rosy so far.
We asked Favour if at any point it time was she tempted to pick the money on the floor. She responded as thus “I didn’t even get anything my course mates picked the whole money”

The daughter of billionaire businessman Femi Otedola took to her Instagram page to flaunt the glittering chain gift she received from boxer Anthony Joshua.
Sharing a photo of herself rocking the chain, she wrote: ‘ I rarely get given, as I’m always the one to give so I’m really grateful my gift from AJ… Going to rock this chain EVERYWHERE like a BOSS!.’
Meanwhile, Mexican fighter, Andy Ruiz Jr, has issued a strong warning to British fighter, Anthony Joshua ahead of their December 3 rematch in Saudi Arabia.
Ruiz, who took away Joshua’s world titles with a shock stoppage win in June, warned the Nigerian heavyweight boxer that he will be coming into the December rematch “lighter, faster and more powerful.”
Speaking with ESPN, Ruiz said he would prove those who doubted him wrong by defeating Joshua again.
He said: “I have a lot of respect for Anthony, outside the ring he is a very good man
“But inside [the ring] there are no friends, there is no respect or anything.
“It will not be an easy fight. I think it will be a hard fight, but nothing is easy in life, so, we are training very hard. We will be prepared for whatever he brings.
“I will arrive in a better condition … lighter, faster and more powerful. They will believe that in December they will win.
“People will always talk like this, but I have faith that we’re going to win and shut up more mouths.”
When Tacha was in the house.. She trended for various reasons… and one which saw her trend the most was her fight with the winner of the reality tv show, Mercy Eke.
During the fight, Mercy tagged Tacha as someone who has body odour.
Immediately after this revelation, the whole Social media caught fire with reactions here and there.
Popular musician, Zlatan Ibile immediately joined in the trend and released a video which mocked Tacha’s alleged odour.
Many folks on social media enjoined the singer not to release the ‘diss track’, and it seems as though he may not.
During an interview with Dotun on coolFM, Tacha was asked her opinion towards the diss track which many people flogged the singer as being childish and causing strong animosity.
But surprisingly, Tacha claimed not to see anything “bad” about it. She added that she is also big fan of Zlatan Ibile’s songs. So therefore she thinks it a normal thing.
“I didn’t see it as anything, I like #Zlatan and I love his music, it’s all love”, she said.

Popular influencer, Nina Ivy, who became popular after her stay in the Big Brother Naija House in 2018, looks as though she has moved on from her, ‘Then boyfriend’, Miracle Ikechukwu, who won the 3rd edition of the reality TV show.
Sharing some photos on her social media page, it may seem as though Nina has found love again.
It would be recalled that Nina had her fair share of relationships which apparently, went down an ugly path after mutual interests stopped aligning.

Big Brother Naija 2019 champ, Mercy Eke, has taken to her social media page to celebrate actress Rita Dominic as the screen diva bags a nomination in the best actress category at the Africa Movie Academy Awards(AMAA).
