Controversial Nollywood actor, Uche Maduagwu, has taken to his Instagram page to berate Nigerian Male Barbie, Bobrisky, over claims that the latter said he is as beautiful as actress, Adesua Etomi.
Uche, who was clearly angry at the remark, wrote ;
You can never look as beautiful as @adesuaetomi even if you donate your male gender to Fulani herdsmen… God created Adam & Eve, not Paul and Michael, so, if you like, donate your original MALE gender to Fulani herdsmen in Lagos or Ibadan, that will not make you look as beautiful as Adesua Etomi. The FUNNY thing is that, in real life, you look like Christma tree, but with SnapChat filter, you deceive your village people that you will some day look as beautiful as BankyW wife, honestly, our goverment should cover their face in SHAME, wait, if a MALE, dress up like a FEMALE, and start saying he now has BOYFRIENDS as “bae”, and that he wants to allegedly steal married womens HUSBAND in Nigeria, abeg, if he claim his lovers are MEN, do we need to catch him in the act before we BELIEVE him? Or is Bobrisky not MATURE enough to know the IDENTITY of his lovers? So, what other EVIDENCE do FG need to show him what our LAW says about his despicable behaviour?
Men of the Lagos State Rapid Response Squad, RRS, have arrested two suspected thieves, Saidu Atiku and one other who specialized in vandalizing vehicles and stealing their brain boxes.
The suspects, Sodiq Musa, 28 and Saidu Atiku, 34, were arrested at Ikeja with three Toyota vehicle brain boxes while Ridwan Adamu escaped with the fourth box. One of the suspects, Sodiq claimed he was a graduate of Political Science from one of the Nigerian Universities before coming to Lagos in 2017 in search of greener pasture.
“I worked in Lagos as a barbecue man in various hotels and event centres before I met Ridwan who introduced me to brain box theft. We use ‘magic stone,’ that is, vehicle spark plug to break vehicle windows without attracting attention.
It takes two minutes to loose a Toyota Hiace bus brain box and it takes four minutes to lose a Toyota Hilux box. The spark plug reduces the noise and effects and can quickly break of any vehicle’s window and we tie the plug in a handkerchief in a situation where we have multiple vehicles to work on,” he said.
“We specialised in stealing Toyota brain boxes because they fetch good money in the market. The demand for them are higher than any other brand. For example we sold a Toyota Hiace bus for N40,000 while that of Toyota Hilux goes for N20,000 respectively”.
The Commissioner of Police, CP Zubairu Muazu, in his reaction to the incident directed the transfer of the case to State CID, Panti.

Life on the fast lane.
Note to all the Slay Queens/Slay thieves: As you display your ill gotten wealth on social media, just remember that Uncle FBI is keeping a tab on you. So please continue ??. As you fly around Europe and the globe, just remember they The the information of your grant grandma village is with the US government. Your next door neighbor even in your village might just be an under cover agent tracking you. So please continue and we pray they arrest you all and house clean our society.
To every hand working man or woman in Nigeria and diaspora, you labor is valid. Keep doing your best.. There is dignity in hard labor. You can go to bed at night and sleep well.
I weep for the moral depression consuming our society. The quest to show off, flaunt childish nonsense and impress miscreants leads you no where other than shame and pain.
To all the Slay Queens and Slay thieves living beyond tyour means and putting our impressionable youths under pressure, your day of reckoning is at hand. Interpol is watching. Continue your shameless thievery. We now live in a society where mothers don’t question their sons and daughters about their sudden wealth, a society where women don’t ask their spouses what they do?
Children can’t speak to the conscience of their parents, pastors preach prosperity and not salvation from their pulpit, Politicians embezzle funds meant to develop their communities and uplift their next generation, a society where teenage girls marry their ancestors because of riches. The moral decadence ravaging our country is palpable.
If your joy is to take a clandestine approach to defraud innocent people, so shall clandestine measures be used to apprehend you. God bless all giving their utmost best to live a decent life. Integrity over money any day.
Fast-rising Nollywood Actress, Chy Nwakanma has made a move to correct a popular misconception about her industry colleagues and ‘Sugar Daddies’.
Chiagoziem Nwakanma, otherwise known as Chy Nwakanma, is a graduate of University of Illinois, Chicago (UIC) with a BFA in Theatre Performance and a minor in Communication. The actress who recently returned to Nigeria to serve her father land, made her Nollywood debut in the movie ‘Disguise’.
Chiagoziem recently granted DUPE AYINLA-OLASUNKANMI an Interview, and she gave insight on some topics regarding her life, career among other issues.
Excerpts from the interview below ;
HOW best can you describe your brand as an entertainer?
Honestly, I just want to represent “possibility”. I’m just a regular girl figuring life out a day at a time. You see a petite frame and would never expect what can come out of it. I’m quite unpredictable and I prefer simplicity in everything I do.
What are the milestones you have covered since you started your acting career?
I played my first lead in a series “This is it” which launched my career in Nollywood.
I got my first nomination in 2017 for the Eloy Awards under the category “Best TV Actress” and the series also won “Best TV series” category in AMVCA 2018.
What are the challenges so far?
Challenges so far? I don’t know if I would refer to it as a challenge but I would say I would love to work more.
I’m a workaholic. Lol. I love being busy. I’m easily bored so I have to be constantly doing something.
How I’ve triumphed? I’ve started creating my own content. Instead of just sitting and waiting for the phone to ring, I create my own work.
If you have the opportunity to influence a thing or change it in the movie industry, what would it be?
Budgeting. I feel actors always get the short end of the stick when it comes to budget.
How will you react to the general saying that works by female producers are sponsored by ‘sugar daddies’?
People will always say something. I just completed a project I funded by myself.
Someone, somewhere will claim I have a sugar daddy but I can proudly say that I got the money from my mother who was even more excited about the project than I was.
Even if a few people have sugar daddies as sponsors, not everyone is guilty of that. So, please, they should start mentioning names specifically and stop generalizing.
Do you think actors in general are well appreciated?
I don’t really have an answer to this question because personally it hasn’t crossed my mind whether I’m appreciated enough or not.
I’m just happy I get to do what I love and I’m really grateful for those who have so far appreciated my work! You guys fuel me and I’m encouraged by messages and emails. I see them all. Thank you so much!
Tell us the biggest thing that has ever happened to you in the course of exploit…
A lot of “big” things have happened to me so far in my journey. I’ve gotten the opportunity to work with some of the people I watched growing up and admired.
But the biggest thing so far would be getting to stand on the AMVCA stage to collect an award. I used to watch the awards on the television; but this time I was there live! It was surreal.
Is there any project you are currently working on?
I just wrapped up the first stage of my first feature film titled ‘Beautiful Monster’. I am moving on to the next phase, with time I will unveil each one as they come.
Why did you come back to Nigeria and how did your acting career start?
I came back to do my NYSC but the industry has been fair to me so I’m still here.
I actually moved back to Nigeria in 2015 and that same year landed a lead role that launched my acting career in Nollywood.
I made my television debut in Lowladee’s TV series “This is it” (2016), where I played the role of “Dede”, a young, naive and clueless wife.
In 2018, I made my cinema debut as “Kate” in the movie “Disguise”
If you have the opportunity to work with a top Nigerian actor who would that be?
I would love to work with Nse Ikpe-Etim and Gabriel Afolayan.
What is your biggest fear in the industry?
I don’t have any fears. I’m a firm believer in “what will be, will be”. So I take it as it comes. I can’t think of any fears because I always make a conscious effort to be optimistic
How has it been for you navigating through the media?
My PR team, Estol Props Media definitely made that journey smoother and less stressful. They handle everything press and media. The CEO, Esther Adekeye, most especially, is the best to work with
What inspired you to start producing your own movies?
As a creative person, there are stories I would love to tell and characters I would love to explore
What are the challenges that come with producing movies in Nigeria?
You’re thinking of how to maximize your budget without compromising on quality of the movie.
What role would you say has been the most difficult role to play?
Every role comes with its own challenges. They’re all difficult to play (lol) because you have to build your character.
What do you do aside from acting?
I’m an entrepreneur. I’m always looking for where to invest. I’m open to profitable collaborations of any kind. I’m also a TV and event host.
Otunba Olusegun Runsewe, the Director-General of the National Council for Arts and Culture, has said Lagos socialite, Bobrisky, is a national disgrace and will soon be ruthlessly dealt with.
He said this in an interview with Vanguardngr, when asked to react to a statement recently credited to him that the cross dresser should be arrested. His response: “Bobrisky is a national disgrace.
He started by selling and using bleaching creams, now, he has grown boobs, bums and hips. If a Bobrisky is doing well with his immoral lifestyle, how do you convince Nigerian youths to do the right thing? .
Bobrisky has the right, but not within the Nigerian environment. There are others like him, but they live outside the country. If we don’t address Bobrisky as early as possible, he will form a team that will spread like wildfire.
This will result in a lot of suicide cases, because the typical Nigerian parent would not want to see their child become a Bobrisky. It’s not an entertainment issue, it’s a war to save Nigeria for a better tomorrow.
A popular Nigerian recently paid an unexpected visit to his son in England only to discover that the son is a gay leader. The man was brought back to the country on a wheelchair. I’m talking with the strength of information and authority.
I have information that over twenty-three Nigerian boys are already starting Bobrisky’s brand. Immediately we started the war, they pulled out because we are going to get them arrested. They cannot destroy this country.
Someone said why am I not fighting those involved in corruption- that’s not my job and that’s why we have the EFCC, ICPC and the rest of them. My job is to protect and preserve the fabric of our good culture.
Bobrisky is not a role model or icon Nigerian youths should look up to. We should all condemn him so that he would go back to how he was created.
He has a right to leave Nigeria for any country that practises and encourages trans-gender lifestyle. If he is caught on the streets of this country, he will be dealt with ruthlessly.”
Ubi Franklin shared the highlight of his encounter with someone he helped out in 2018, after being approached for money because the man’s mother was sick.
The music executive stated that he didn’t know the man from anywhere and was also not satisfied with his answer on how he got his number at that time. He however went on to give him the money he asked for before getting a shocking encounter in 2019.
Ubi said he was at the club on Friday night when the man who got a turnaround after the 2018 exchange walked up to him and introduced himself.
He wrote;
Sometime in July, 2018, I recieved a call from a certain guy notifying me that his mum was ill and needed help with her hospital bills. Firstly, i ask him how he got my phone number since i did not know him and he said someone gave it to him.
Even though I was not too satisfied with his response, i understood the feeling of not having money, yet a loved one( as in this case, his mum) is critically ill. Bearing this in mind, I requested for his account number, sent him money and that was it.
Last night a guy walked up to me in the club and asked if I knew him, I said no and he reminded me about the favour I had done him and his mum.
Now the main story is; this guy was obviously going through a hard time during the period he contacted me ealier, but he is now ‘back on his feet’ and doing well. Interestingly, he has offered me something major which I will share later.

The Senior Pastor of the Commonwealth Of Zion Assembly (COZA), Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo has reacted to the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) probe report into allegations against him by Busola Dakolo.
It was reported earlier, that the founder of COZA, Biodun Fatoyinbo, shunned the body by failing to appear before its panel investigating the rape allegation against him.
The report from PFN was declared inconclusive due to the Pastor’s failure to appear before the investigative panel.
In a statement released by his Senior Assistant, Ademola Adetuberu, Fatoyinbo said he failed to honour the panel’s invitations because his lawyers realised the sitting might be partial as the christian body before constituting the panel, had disowned him.
“We recall that when Pastor Fatoyinbo was invited by a phone call few days ago by Pastor Akinola Akinwale, who is the National Administrative Secretary of PFN, we explained that our Pastor would not honour the invitation due to legal advice hinged on the ongoing police investigation.
The legal advice was also premised on the press statement issued and personally signed by the PFN President, Bishop Felix Omobude, where our Pastor was publicly disowned.
Based on the foregoing, we are convinced beyond a reasonable doubt that the PFN was already prejudiced and may not conduct an impartial session. According to the report, Rev. Omobude, whom we hold in high esteem, went further to crucify our Pastor without seeking to know his side of the story on the matter.
With all due respect, we consider this a prejudicial position in dispensing justice and fairness. Even our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ was given an opportunity for a fair hearing by the Kangaroo panel set up with the prime motive of condemning Him to death.”
Fatoyinbo says once the police investigation into the rape allegation is over, he will appear before the panel.
“Once the police investigation is over, our Pastor is ready to honour the invitation. We have also been legally advised to deploy judicial intervention to clear our Pastor as soon as possible, and the process has commenced in earnest.” the statement read

U.S. authorities on Thursday unsealed a 252-count grand jury indictment charging 80 people, most of them Nigerians, in a major conspiracy to steal millions of dollars through fraud schemes and launder the money through a Los Angeles-based network.
“We believe this is one of the largest cases of its kind in U.S. history,” U.S. Attorney Nick Hanna told a news conference.
The conspiracy included frauds involving business email (BEC scams), romance scams and schemes targeting elderly people.
Victims were targeted in the U.S. and around the world, and some lost hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Fourteen defendants were arrested, mostly in the Los Angeles region.
Six other defendants are believed to be fugitives in the U.S. and the others are abroad, mostly in Nigeria. Authorities said they hope to extradite them.
The investigation began in 2016 with one victim and a single bank account, said Paul Delacourt, assistant director in charge of the FBI’s Los Angeles office.
Among the people arrested are: Valentine Iro, 31, of Carson, and Chukwudi Christogunus Igbokwe, 38, of Gardena, both Nigerian citizens. Others are: Jerry Ikogho, 50, of Carson (who was taken into custody on Sunday), and Adegoke Moses Ogungbe, 34, of Fontana, who were indicted as illicit money exchangers for the conspiracy.
In addition: Iro, Igbokwe, Ikogho, Ogungbe and three other defendants –Izuchukwu Kingsley Umejesi, 30, of Los Angeles, Tityaye Marina Mansbangura, 33, of Palmdale, and Obi Madekwe, 31, of Nigeria – are charged with operating illegal money transmitting businesses. Ogungbe and Mansbangura were also among those arrested this morning, and Umejesi is a fugitive currently being sought by authorities.
According to the FBI statement: Iro, Igbokwe and Chuks Eroha, 39, face additional charges for attempting to destroy their phones when the FBI executed a search warrant in July 2017. Iro also is charged with lying to the FBI in an interview conducted during the search. The complaint alleges that, when the FBI arrived to conduct the court-authorized search at Iro’s apartment in Carson, Iro broke his phone in half, while Igbokwe and Eroha threw phones from a bedroom window of the apartment. While Iro claimed he previously had broken the phone during an argument with his wife, the complaint details how the FBI was able to determine that the phone was operational until seconds after the FBI knocked on Iro’s apartment door to execute the search warrant. Eroha is believed to have fled to Nigeria shortly after the FBI executed the warrant.
