Clergyman and movie producer, Mike Bamiloye has taken to his social media page to shake a table that has many Nigerian artistes on it.
Mike Bamiloye questioned the reason entertainers, whose music talents were nurtured and groomed by a church opted to leave the church to sing for the ‘clubs and the world’. The clergyman then pleaded with such entertainers to return to the source.
His post reads ;
All of you Gifted and Talented in Music, Acting, Instruments, Whom the lord raised up from Inside the church to be
useful for him, But have abandoned the lord who raised you and have begun to sing for the clubs and the world.
I plead with you to come back to your source. “How can you recieve a gift from Lord and hand it over to the devil”
The ‘live sex’ witnessed in the ongoing Big Brother Naija reality show seems to have gotten to the Federal Government as it has lodged a complaint with the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC).
The complaint led to arrangement for launch of a modified reality show where the true Nigerian culture will be shown, Nigerian food will be eaten and Nigerian dresses worn.
Otunba Segun Runsewe, the National Council for Arts and Culture Director-General disclosed this when paid a visit by the President of the National Council of Women Societies Dr Gloria Shoda. It is also expected that the NCAC will represent the 2008 Nudity Bill titled ‘A Bill for an Act to punish and prohibit nudity, sexual intimidation and other-related offences in Nigeria,’ sponsored by the former chairperson, Senate Committee on Women and Youth, Eme Ekaette.
“We are going to represent that bill You can’t fight a battle without a legal framework; we are definitely going to be conscious of that”, Runsewe assured.
“I will take up the issue of Big Brother Naija; I have spoken with officials of the National Broadcasting Commission because what is going on now is terrible. Having love affairs on screen is not part of our own culture at all.
“Let me use this forum to tell Nigerians that a new Big Brother Naija is on its way coming and we are working with Startimes. We are doing BBN that will reflect the true Nigerian culture. We are already working on it, all that will be eaten there will be Nigerian food, the dresses will be Nigerian dresses” he added.
On her own part, the NCWS President said she was concerned with the negative impact the live sex has on Nigerian youths.
Shoda said, “Having a live sex on stage is the thing affecting my sensibility and it is impacting negatively on the young children coming up. Does it mean that they can’t abstain from sex for three months? I’m condemning the sex content on BBN.”

Former Super Eagles defender, turn Pastor, Taribo West has revealed that he and others often sneak women in the camp.
Former Super Eagles hard-as-nails defender Taribo West has sensationally revealed how he and his national teammates sneaked women – both local and foreign – into camp during national assignments, Sunday Punch reports.
The former AC Milan centre-back turned pastor on retirement from football said it was rampant during his era as a footballer but added he could only talk about it because he was now a born-again Christian.
“Sometimes we (the players) will import ladies from other countries and keep them in different hotels. As the competition progressed, more ladies would keep coming and going. It’s something we all did but my teammates won’t talk about it. I can talk about it now because I’ve given my life to Christ,” Taribo told Sports Extra.
“We normally kept the girls in different locations, but once everyone was asleep, around 2am, we would bring them into our hotel rooms. It happened in every tournament we competed in, from the Africa Cup of Nations to the World Cup.
“We had a teammate who the other players waited for to bring in his girl first, because he always had fine women. Once we saw the shape and height of his girl, we would call our own boys to go out and negotiate for girls more beautiful than this player’s own. It was more like a competition for women amongst us then.
“We had crazy guys in the team but there was discipline, that’s why we had to sneak the ladies into camp.”
Globally-acclaimed for his various unusual and colourful hairstyles during his playing days, Taribo featured for French side Auxerre before going on to play for both Milan clubs, Inter and AC.
He also appeared in the top leagues of England (Derby County) and Germany (Kaiserslautern).
Internationally, Taribo won gold at the 1996 Olympic Games with the U-23 side. At senior level, he had 42 caps for Nigeria between 1994 and 2005, played at the 1998 and 2002 World Cups and the 2000 and 2002 Africa Cup of Nations.
Big Brother Naija Housemate, Frodd, became a trending topic in the early hours of Sunday after it appeared he tried to force himself on his love-interest Esther.
Esther was having none of that and she turned him down, Biggie noticed the action, summoned him to the diary room and seemingly punished him.
Social media users reacted to the action and were even suggesting Frodd gets disqualified as he was engaging in an act reminiscent of Kemen’s low moment in the 2017 Edition of the reality TV Show.
Later on, Frodd and Esther were discussing on the issue that happened prior, and while Esther apologized for turning him down, Frodd said he did not understand why he was punished by Biggie as his other housemates in the persons of Ike and Mike also engage in ‘Rough Play’ with female housemate.
Embattled CEO of Invictus Group, Obinwanne Okeke failed to show up in court with a lawyer for the commencement of his trial on two counts of conspiracy to commit computer fraud and conspiracy to commit wire fraud.
It led to the United States Federal Public Defender in Eastern District of Virginia stepping up to defend him for the case.
Invictus Obi, as he fondly called, was first arraigned before Magistrate Theresa Buchanan on August 7, after the FBI team led by Marshall Ward also found out that he duped an American shoe manufacturer and used several e-mail accounts which have previously been linked to fraudulent activities online and flagged in the F.B.I. database.
He was granted a request of seeing a public health dental hygienist on the first day of his trial. Though it is not clear how long he has been having issues with his teeth, however the US magistrate ruled that the doctor must attend to the suspected fraudster in custody.

For a while now, there has been constant sexual entanglement among the housemates of Big Brother Naija reality show.
The recent been that of Khafi Kareem and Gedoni.
The BBNaija love ‘birds’ were seen having sex this time around before light out while others were awake.
This caused reactions from fellow housemate, Esther who felt irritated by their actions.
Meanwhile Khafi , the 29 year-old UK policewoman is already in trouble with her superiors in the London Metropolitan Police and the New Scotland Yard headquarters for joining the reality show without proper permission and topping it all, she kept having sexual intercourse on live TV.
KemiFilani reached out to celebrities to speak on the sex in big brother trend.
While some believe they are all adults and should be responsible for their actions, other critical condemned Khafi’s ‘sex drive.
See their reactions below
Belinda Effah
Khafi is over 18 years of age and entitled to her decision. She is a mature woman and must have weighed the consequences of her actions. So whatever comes with it after Big Brother I am sure she can handle it . My honest thought is there is no need crying more than the bereaved. Khafi knows what she is doing and she can definitely handle whatever comes with it. Let’s just pray she makes it to the end of the show and probably win so it’s could count for a huge compensation for her decision.
Nazo Ekezie
She go dey alright last last. She knows what she is doing. She is old enough to make a decision that would favour her.
Nkechi Blessing
She’s an adult, so she’s doing what he thinks is best for her. They should allow her be. You all should let her do whatsoever she deems fit for her and makes her happy.
Annjay Chioma
I can see a lady who is desperate for fame and can do anything to get what she wants. Life is a choice though and that’s her choice.
Having sex on national Tv 3 good times and still counting? Haba!Is she the only one with private part here? I’m not trying to judge her because nobody holy pass but it wasn’t a good move.It’s her body, her choice. Some how I still feel for her because the guy she has been dishing out the thing to will still dump her at the end of the day. I think BBN organizers should approve use of Sex toys too since, it has finally turned reality show.
Big Brother Naija 2018 housemate, Ifu Ennada took to her social media page to take a major swipe at some Nigerian celebrities who according to her wear fake designer clothes and shoes.

She wrote;
I wonder why some of your fave celebs wear fake designer clothes/shoes.
Have some respect for the Original Designer! Wear a nameless brand if you have to, stop embarrassing yourselves up and down BIKO.
The league you’re trying to impress, they know you wear fakes, they’re irritated even though they smile at you… Stop the BS already.

The 2019 Big Brother Naija, ‘Pepper Dem edition, on Saturday night, witnessed an exciting moment, one where Mercy flashed her underpant while dancing.
Her recent action stirred reactions from BBNaija fans on social media as some drew a comparison between her and Tacha.
Some Nigerians questioned why Tacha, the Instagram queen who twerks a lot on social media has not exposed her body while Mercy has been caught severally exposing her body.
See photo below;
Here are some comments gathered from Twitter:
@ChrisbrownGod “Tacha fans are just bitter tonight, Port Harcourt daughter did not give them anything to talk about so Tacha fans are insulting Mercy for showing her panty.”
@Strawapil “Mercy is definitely high. Dj humility got her to this point.”
@SharonMissy2 “I’m a Mercy fan but she needs to stop this stripping thing. It’s becoming very embarrassing and annoying.”
@Slrenuman “if you love Mercy you need to love the full package. the good and d bad side.. that’s how fans do.”
@Nnenna_Phillip “Yea I know what y’all will do if Tacha does this.So I’m just giving it right back. I guess we can’t hide who and what we truly are for long. This is appalling, absolute trash!
@Switsameera”Mercy can be nasty and she’s not afraid to show that side. She’s not here to form a church girl. I like how she own up to her shit. If you have issues with that, Disney is what you should be watching not BBN cause the show is rated 18+.”
@BBnaijanews1 “All of you dragging Tacha into this are just something else. If Tacha exposes her body on IG doesn’t mean another lady should do it. You claim Mercy has class and Tacha doesn’t but at least she’s trying to comport herself in front of the world.”
@Unnii18 “Ashawo Mercy. Come and win this money let me see!! Fake Girl ,loose pu*nani. Look at Tacha they called all sorts of names, babygirl has been behaving well unlike olodo Mercy. Bitter soul.”
@ShugaTega “Please next time any designer is making their Saturday night party cloth, they should make only pant for mercy. Girl doesn’t want all that coverage you giving to her.”
@Neo_mngadi “Mercy is drunk AF. She showed her undies.”
@Juzkeep “You can see that to wear loose fitting cloth is still harding Mercy.Biggie open door let her go and wear pant and come back abeg.We want to see something.”
@Leamarwear “Mercy Oh, sis showed us her black pant.”
Saturday Nights are known to be wild in the Big Brother Naija house but yesterday’s after party effects surprisingly had fights or altercations and the housemates went to bed peacefully.
However, Frodd joined Esther on her bed and tried groping her in a rather uncomfortable way and she blatantly refused to have any of that.
From the video below, Frodd’s buttocks was visible as his underwear was pulled down, Esther asked him to stop and he wondered she still had plenty energy; that he thought she was constipated.
Biggie called him to the Diary room at that time of the night; perhaps to call him to order but we will never know. Is Frodd’s disqualification imminent?
The Union between Nollywood Actors, Osas Ighodaro and Gbenro Ajibade may have finally reached a low point.
Their Marriage receieved social media attention since 2018 when Gbenro Ajibade took to social media to call out his wife.
On one occasion, Gbenro took to Instagram to rant ;
Who leaves their baby in the house and goes out to party and hang with friends/event from 6pm till 5am?!!
It’s not the first, second, third or fourth time. The other night you slept out, you sent our baby with a stranger to drop her off back home with the nanny so you can be out all night.
Osas has now taken off her husband’s Last Name from her social media accounts. Her name on Instagram used to read ‘Osas Ighodaro Ajibade‘ but now its simply ‘Osas‘.

Trouble started when Ubi shared a post on his IG page today asking his followers not to listen to some motivational speakers who paint entrepreneurship or owning a business as something so easy. According to him, not everyone will be an entrepreneur. (Read here)
Alex Ekubo then opted for a snide comment as he accused Ubi of being the forerunner of such motivational speeches.
”Ubi na you gon gon be the pilot of the flight, awon inspire to desire, to perspire”, he wrote.

It was a rich showcase of colours, culture and tradition at this year’s Ojude Oba Festival which held in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State on August 13, 2019.
The Ojude Oba, (which in Ijebu dialect means, “the king’s forecourt or frontage”, is a major festival in Nigeria that began over 100 years ago. It brings together all sons and daughters of Ijebuland in Nigeria and diaspora for a carnival-like celebration of the traditional, cultural, spiritual accomplishments and other values of the Ijebu nation. During the Festival, various age groups (popularly known as the Regberegbes), indigenes, their friends and associates from far and near – all in their colourful costumes and riding on horses, thronged the palace of the Awujale of Ijebuland to pay homage to him amidst prayers and other fun-filled activities.
Sponsors of the Ojude Oba Festival and foremost Nigerian financial institution First City Monument Bank (FCMB) congratulated the Awujale and Paramount Ruler of Ijebuland, Oba (Dr.) Sikiru Kayode Adetona, chiefs, age groups, all indigenes, friends and well-wishers of Ijebuland on this year’s festival.
The Bank reiterated its commitment to support activities that promote and add value to Nigeria’s culture and heritage which are also capable of boosting tourism, trade and the hospitality sector. FCMB’s participation was as usual grand, exciting and rewarding for the thousands of people within and outside the country that graced the fiesta.
In a goodwill message to the Awujale of Ijebuland, Oba (Dr.) Adetona, the Founder of FCMB Group, who is also the Olori Omo-Oba Akile Ijebu, Otunba (Dr) Olasubomi Balogun, CON, expressed his gratitude to the paramount ruler for his selflessness, distinguished and exemplary leadership for the 59 years he has been the paramount ruler of Ijebuland, which makes him one of the longest reigning monarchs in Nigeria.
In the same vein, the Group Chief Executive of FCMB Group Plc, Mr. Ladi Balogun, congratulated the monarch for upholding the values of Ijebuland and raising the status of the event over the years. He stated that, ‘’the Ojude Oba Festival is a rallying point to promote the sustainable growth and development of our community. Nigerian Gay-right activist, Bisi Alimi has reacted to the arrest of the CEO of Invictus Group, Obinwanne Okeke by America’s Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) over a $12 million (N4.3bn) fraud.
News of the Forbes-rated young Nigerian billionaire’s arrest for allegedly defrauding top American companies of huge sums trended nationwide yesterday. He was accused of “stealing” $12m from a steel company by hacking into an executive’s office365 account and sending an email with a fake invoice to the purchase department.
Reacting to the topic, Bisi Alimi said ;
Nigerians have this stupid fraudulent act of saying “it’s by God’s grace” when you ask them the secrets of their success.
Well it is now very clear thanks to Obinwenne Okeke that god’s grace is another word for 419.
There is nothing like god’s grace, stop deceiving people. It is either you have made it through hard work, connections or family wealth, and you have a right to share your secret or not to share your secret.
Saying it is the grace of god is a fraud and you are nothing but 419! Simple!
Nollywood Actress, Destiny Etiko has finally opened up on the Mercedes SUV she got as a birthday gift days ago.
Destiny received negative remarks after news of the car gift broke, with fans dropping nasty comments about what she did to get the car.
Destiny told Sunnewsonline that although she can’t afford to buy the car, she however worked hard for it. Etiko affirmed that she doesn’t care about what people say about the gift and will also not disclose who it came from.
Her words ;
“I’m still super excited about my birthday. I feel happy knowing fully well that people I didn’t expect to show me love showed me so much love, so I’m happy. As for the car gift, well, I work so hard for it. Yes, but then I cannot cough out money to buy such a car; it’s not that I can’t buy a car for myself. This particular Mercedes Benz is a gift. I don’t care what people say, I won’t mention who bought it for me. That’s exactly what happened last year when my boy- friend bought me a Venza; people kept saying all sorts of things. People will always talk and I don’t care”.
Yesterday, Big Brother Naija Housemate, Jackye trended over a pillow fight with Mike, social media users had question Jackye’s closeness to Mike who is a married man outside the house.
However, her boyfriend, Oluwasegun Kosemani has come out to lambaste those making it an issue.
Pointing out that Mike complained some time ago that Jackye has been staying away from him since the new housemates were unveiled, Oluwasegun called out people who claimed she wasn’t loyal to their friendship, alleged she was boring and acting too holy at that time.
Insisting that Mike’s wife is also not complaining about their closeness, Jackye’s boyfriend claimed that most people watch the show for lustful reasons which clouds their thoughts in identifying intellectual activities showcased by the smartest housemates.
He wrote;
Sometime ago when Mike complained to another male housemates that Jackye has been staying away from him since the new housemates came in, all the women shading Jackye now kept quite and some even hailed Mike saying Jackye wasn’t loyal to their friendship. They say Jackye is boring, Jackye is acting too holy, now Jackye plays freely with Mike with no strings attached and same females/women are the ones saying negative things about Jackye! Ah walaha dey ooh!SMH.
I see why women keep pulling down other women, I see why women don’t vote for women who are truly impactful in positive ways, I see why majority like to watch big brother; obviously for lustful reasons especially nudity and immoral acts thereby failing to identify, acknowledge and celebrate the intellectual activities of the show showcased by the smartest housemates. I see why the popular and highly recommended women equality thing may never be achieved real soon at least not in our insane clime.
Like for heaven sake, I ain’t even complaining and Mike’s wife ain’t either, rather I’m so happy that Jackye is becoming more free in the house especially with the guys. Jackye likes smart people who can hold their head up and be free. It took Jackye a while to get this free in the house and now that she’s getting her groove on, people who are already unhappy with themselves and most likely unhappy about Jackye’s intellectual and emotional strength and the changes she is capable of being to our society are the ones who want to drive us insane with their unsubstantiated rhetorics all over the internet.
Naso una abuse Cee’c sooo tey the young girl blow scatter come begin get paid more than una gbanjo favs! Ok o! Make una kontinu, as long as my Jackye is writing a good history for young Nigerian and African ladies to admire and emulate, I, her family and her true well wishers and the awaiting brands will keep enjoying the show till the 99th day when we would all be celebrating her as the finalist and or winner of the #bbnaija seasons 4.
Officials of the Nigerian Customs Service have seized truck-loads of banned drugs including tramadol and other illegal drugs worth N5 billion in Lagos.
Joseph Attah, the spokesman for the service took the press round a warehouse where the trucks of the intercepted items were parked at the Ikeja Training College of the service. Attah said the Comptroller-General of Customs Strike Force in Zone ‘A’ stumbled on the contraband.
According to him, the smugglers believe that festive period is a time of merriment and less vigilance, “but our officers intercepted the illicit drugs as the smugglers attempted to move it from Lagos to other parts of the country’’.
“On Aug. 13, at about 2 a.m, operatives of the Headquarters Strike Force Zone A intercepted a truck laden with dreaded codeine, tramadol and other controlled pain killers along Maryland, Ikeja road.
