ATTENTION! ATTENTION!! ATTENTION!!! The attention of Khafi’s management has been drawn to a publication by The Sun UK of Tuesday, August 13, 2019, titled “LOIN OF DUTY Met Police ‘poster girl’ faces sack for ‘having sex’ on Nigerian Big Brother after being told not to take part”. This brazenly sensational and defamatory outburst by The Sun UK is written in poor taste without considering the ethics of journalism which seeks balance and objectivity.
At NO time did The Sun UK send a mail of inquiry to Khafi’s official email which is blasted across her social media platforms under active management to confirm or refute the claims in the publication.
Khafi’s side of the story is deliberately and conveniently omitted to sell a pre-conceived narrative while responses from “outraged colleagues” and “other papers” riddle the publication.
This comes from a repressive culture of shaming and characterizing women for their sexual decisions and life choices.
We find The Sun UK’s publication repulsive and damaging to the image and livelihood of our client.
Khafi is a proud black female police officer who prides herself in her work and has dedicated her youthful years protecting and serving with her many skills which include the ability to speak at least five international languages.
We demand an immediate retraction of the publication by The Sun UK and a public apology to our client Khafilat Kareem within the next 48 hours.
Legal options are also being considered at this time.
All Progressives Congress (APC) spokesman in Lagos state, Joe Igbokwe, lashed out at head of states, President Buhari’s critics while appearing as a guest on Channels Television’s Politics on Monday August 12.
The Lagos APC spokesperson claimed that the PDP never did anything tangible in its 16 years in power, and further added that anyone who claims President Muhammadu Buhari is not doing well is a liar from hell.
His words,
“The PDP was there for 16 years and we didn’t see anything. In the midst of plenty, I cannot lay my hands on anything,” he said.
“Support your leader, don’t be a distraction. Anybody who tells you Buhari is not doing well is a liar from the pit of hell, given where we are coming from.”
“If the president can solve all the problems of Nigeria in one day, they would have done it in the 60s. It’s a continuum.
“As the population is growing, the problem will continue to grow. As Nigeria is growing, the problem will continue to grow. So problems will never disappear from the face of the earth” he added.
Joe Igbokwe was however countered on the programme by Ken Olugbo, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Though he admitted that the PDP made mistakes in some areas, he however stated that they performed much more better than the present Buhari-led administration.
“I can’t condemn entirely everything that President Muhammadu Buhari has done. I have said it and I have tried to always be objective,” he said.
“But Igbokwe must admit that we are hungry. Nigerians are hungry. The economy is bad. We need to move to a next level (of economic prosperity).”
“I am not saying we had a perfect government, let us stop that blame game. We have passed that era of the blame game.
“We have always said it that PDP’s government isn’t perfect. In fact, Secondus apologised to Nigerians. For somebody to apologise, does that not tell you that we didn’t do well in a lot of areas?
“But we are looking at it. When you marry two wives, you compare the two wives. You have married the PDP, now you are married to the APC. Now Nigerians can see for themselves. We did better than what we are currently seeing” he added.

POLICE poster girl Khafi Kareem defied her bosses to appear in a series of steamy romps on TV.
The PC, who once stood alongside Met Commissioner Cressida Dick to promote female and black recruitment, was told not to take part in Nigeria’s Big Brother.
But the 29-year-old had already been granted unpaid leave and joined the show, where she has romped three times with businessman Ekpata Gedoni, 31.
Their romance has viewers gripped but she is facing an investigation by the Met’s Directorate of Professional Standards.
One colleague said: “She’s a serving British police officer — it’s outrageous. She asked permission to go on the show but, when her request was refused, she went anyway.
“Her out-of-office email reply blatantly says that she is away from work, yet no one does anything.
“Other officers working with her are furious that she can just disobey orders then swan off the Africa and tarnish the reputation of the force.”
Former bit-part actress and shop assistant Khafi joined the Met as a PC based at Lambeth station in 2015 after working part-time as a special constable for four years.
She was inspired to sign up after a 16-year-old pal was stabbed to death but has spoken out against police stop-and-search tactics.
POLICE CHIEF’S FURY
The PC, who earns about £30,000 a year, was pictured with Ms Dick and other female officers celebrating 100 years of women in the Met last November.
Khafi, who speaks French, Italian and her native Yoruba, worked as a translator and a spotter for a female genital mutilation team looking for possible victims at airports.
But she was said to have been moved after clashes with colleagues.
After being granted unpaid leave, she asked to go on Nigeria’s Big Brother but her request was refused.
Nonetheless, pictures appeared on websites promoting Big Brother Naija: Pepper Dem showing the PC in her uniform while she is billed as a talented dancer and singer.
Publicity material says: “Police officer Khafi Kareem believes that you can have it all if you believe in yourself. She is not only hoping to win the prize money but she wants the exposure that being in Big Brother Naija House brings so that she can do societal good.”
AXE OVER ROMP
Fans of the show, which began on June 30, have been eagerly following her fling with Ekpata.
Nigerian news websites have published video of the pair bucking and moaning beneath the sheets.
One article said: “There are now fears that Khafi may leave Big Brother Naija House pregnant as she and lovebird Gedoni continued their sizzling romance. The cameras caught them for the third time overnight as other housemates were dead asleep.
“The footage, now trending, showed the lovebirds moving their bodies in ecstasy under the sheets.
“Gedoni and Khafi first romped in the house on Saturday, July 20 and then again on Tuesday, July 23.
“And pregnancy can occur since the housemates still have about 70 days left in the house.”
Her TV appearances have left colleagues unimpressed. Another Met source said: “There should be no way back for her from this and her superiors will have to act.
“She fitted the mould perfectly for how the modern force wants to portray itself but seems to have got a bit too big for her boots.
“It’s hard to see how can she argue that she hasn’t brought the force into disrepute.”
The Met said she was on unpaid leave granted “for an unrelated reason” before being refused permission to appear on the show.
A Met spokesman said last night: “The Met is aware that the officer has since appeared on the show without authority. The Directorate of Professional Standards has been informed and will be carrying out an investigation into the circumstances.
“The Met does not support the officer’s appearance nor does she represent the Met whilst appearing on the show.
“All officers have a duty to behave with professionalism and in a manner that does not bring the Met into disrepute whether on or off duty.
“Those who do not behave professionally risk breaching police standards of professional behaviour, and may be dealt with by way of misconduct proceedings.”
HIGH-FLYING RECRUIT
When she was pictured with Ms Dick last year, Khafi told The Guardian: “I didn’t want any career to be off-limits to me because I was a female, or a black female.”
In March, the high-flying recruit was invited to the West End premier of Captain Marvel alongside Deputy Commissioner Lucy D’Orsi.
She revealed at the time she was inspired to join the force after school pal Kodjo Yenga, 16, was murdered by a gang for straying on their turf in Hammersmith in 2007.
She said: “I was devastated and in shock and disbelief. It wasn’t until the media started writing about it and flowers were left at the scene that it really came home to me.”
“I want to make a difference instead of shouting on the sidelines.

This week’s nomination took a different turn as Biggie introduced a new twist dubbed the ‘Nomination Challenge’. According to the rules of the challenge, the entire losing team would be automatically up for possible eviction.
At the end of the 2 rounds, the 2 teams, ‘Cruisetopia’ and ‘Icons’ had a tie. To settle this, Biggie asked each team to present a final representative and Sir Dee represented ‘Icons’ while Mike represented Cruisetopia.
Mike won the challenge for his team and upon realizing the ‘L’ he’d brought to his team, Sir Dee wept bitterly.

Big Brother Naija housemate, Seyi, today, won the ‘Head of House’ title for the second time, thereby gaining another 250 coins and the use of the special ‘Head of House’ room.

Nigerian Singer, Paul Okoye has joined the list of celebrities backing singer Tekno after the latter was told by the FG that he was a threat to national security.
Paul Okoye jeered the Federal Government of Nigeria for referring to singer Tekno’s “Lekki nude video” as “a threat to national security”.
Reacting to the Federal Government’s statement, Paul shared a photo he took with Tekno and referred to the FG as “Fufu and Garri”.
He added: “Some people are just not reasoning at all. “
A 52-year-old man identified as Emmanuel Ikhine has been arrested by men of the Ogun State Police Command for raping and impregnating his 18-year-old biological daughter.
Mr. Ikhine’s arrest came after one Yemisi Ashade reported the issue to the police in company of the victim.
Mr. Ikhine’s daughter had told Ashade about the sexual abuses her father subjected her to and threats of dealing with her if she tells anybody.
Confirming the arrest, the state’s police spokesperson Abimbola Oyeyemi said the victim shared her plight with Ashade after she got fed up with it.
Oyeyemi said ;
“The Divisional Police Officer, Sango Ota, Godwin Idehai, a Chief Superintendent of Police(CPS), detailed his detectives to the scene where the randy father was promptly arrested.
“On interrogation, he made a confessional statement that he has been having carnal knowledge of the victim long before now since he has separated with his wife.
“The victim who claimed to be the only girl amongst the three children of her father explained how the suspect has been sleeping with her whenever her two brothers are not around with threat, but when she can not bear it, she reported to their neighbour who brought her to the station to report.
“The victim was taken to general hospital where it was confirmed that she is already pregnant for her father.
“The Commissioner of Police, Bashir makama has directed that the suspect should be transferred to anti-human trafficking and child labour unit of the state criminal investigation and intelligence department for further investigation and prosecution.”
Nigerian media personality, Daddy Freeze has waded in on the social media conversation of ‘Jesus being the only way to heaven‘ which was ignited by comedienne, Maraji’s post, with his opinion on the claim.

Popular Ivorian entertainer, DJ Arafat died on Monday August 12, after he was involved in a motorcycle accident and subsequently rushed to the hospital on Sunday August 11.
The “coupe-décalé” star died as a result of the injuries he sustained from the accident at a hospital in Abidjan – it was gathered that his motorcycle was hit by a car driven by a journalist from Radio Côte d’Ivoire.
DJ Arafat was unconscious while being rushed to the hospital and sadly didn’t survive the incident. His death has been confirmed by Nigerian singer, Davido, who penned down a tribute to him on Instagram.
A 29-year-old gentleman, Simon Godwin Idoko, a First Class Graduate of Pure and Applied Chemistry from the Usmanu Danfodiyo University in Sokoto State, has been confirmed dead few days after passing out of the National Youth and Service Corps (NYSC) program.
Simon who reportedly took JAMB six times before gaining admission for his first degree, served as a graduate assistant at Godfrey Okoye University in Enugu State before his death.
A friend of the deceased, Ameh Godwin confirmed the sad incident in a tribute he shared on Facebook.

A 40-year-old Indian actress Pradnya Parkar, allegedly strangulated her teenage daughter and then committed suicide after at their Kalwa residence in Gauri Suman Society on Friday morning, Thane Police said.
Pradnya Parkar allegedly left behind a suicide note admitting to the murder-suicide and said she was under extreme stress. Her daughter Shruti, 17, was an HSC student at a Thane college.
Preliminary reports by the police suggested that Parkar, who worked in several Marathi serials and an unreleased Marathi movie, was not getting much work these days and her husband too was facing problems in his business. The neighbours said she had been home without work for many months.
A senior police inspector of Kalwa police station, Shekhar Bagde said the deceased had also come to know that her husband was having an affair.
The incident apparently took place between 8 and 9 in the morning when her husband had gone to the gym.
On return, he found the door of the flat locked from inside. With help from neighbours, he broke down the door and found his wife hanging from the ceiling fan and his daughter suffocated to death in the bedroom. Further probe is on.
“We think a financial crisis led to the murder-suicide, but a probe is under way,” said Shekhar Bagde, adding that the actress left a note taking responsibility for her actions. “She said no one else should be blamed for this,” Bagde added.

Ibeakanma Onyechere, a 46-year-old banker has taking his own life weeks after sharing a suicidal note on Facebook.
The married father-of-one, was found lying lifeless in his room at his home in Victoria Island, Lagos State.
The banker, from Abia state, reportedly left his wife a suicide note before he took his life by consuming a harmful substance on Friday, August 9, 2019. His wife, who reportedly went shopping at the time he took his life, found the note when she returned.
The note, reportedly obtained by Igbere TV, reads:
“The best, that’s what I used to call you. Finally this is the end of my journey here on earth. The evil I have been battling with has succeeded in quenching the flame.
“You married a wrong man. You’re a good woman and you deserve the best. You need to be happy. You need to soar. Please take care of our princess Chinenyenwa.
“Tell her that I love her so much. Be peaceable with everyone though not gonna be easy. Tell my family not to harbor any resentment against you. You’re a blessing to us.
“That’s the wish of a dying man. Don’t cry for me but pray for me. I love you and chinenye so much. Good Bye My beloved.”
He also shared a Facebook post that hinted at his imprending suicide which read : “THE LIGHT IS GRADUALLY DIMMING OUT…………”
David Uyi Omokaro has come to the defense of Instagram comedian, Maraji while saying Jesus should be the one receiving criticisms from Twitter users and not Maraji, because, according to him, Jesus promoted divisiveness.
Maraji became the number one trending topic on twitter for dismissing other religions by saying on the day Muslims were celebrating eid-El-Kabir that Jesus is the only way to heaven, “not Allah, not Buddha, not Krishna” (read here ICYMI).

Comedian, Wale Gates has reacted to a statement which was made by a counsellor at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG about masturbating with a particular person in mind being rape.

Popular Nigerian Instagram comedian, Maraji is currently trending on Twitter and it’s rather unfortunate that it’s not about her engaging social media contents this time.
The youngster is currently a trending topic after she shared a quite sensitive statement about religion on her page recently.
Maraji had taken to her page to share that Christianity is the only way to heaven and stated categorically that all other reliogions, including Islam won’t get anyone to eternal glory.

Nollywood Actress, Destiny Etiko has taken to her Instagram page to share stunning photos as she turned a new year.
Destiny was born on the 12th of August, 1994 and the Nigerian actress is best known for her role in the hit movie, ‘Idemili.’ Destiny attained fame after receiving a nomination for ‘Best Promising Actress’ at ‘City People Entertainment Awards’ for her role in ‘Idemili.’
Sharing the photos on her gram, Destiny said she’s loving the woman she has become while she also tagged herself an Angel in Human Form.
A 60-year-old patent medicine dealer identified as Clement Ikechukwu Ogenyi, who allegedly defiled a 4-year-old girl in Otukpo, Benue state, narrowly escaped being lynched by an angry mob at the weekend.
According to DailyTrust the suspect lured the little child into his room and had carnal knowledge of her after she was sent to buy Vitamin C tablets from his medicine store.
The unpleasant way which the girl walked back home prompted further probe that led to the discovery of her defilement.
Soon after the matter became public knowledge, an angry mob almost lynched the suspect as further revelations suggested that he had molested other minors in the neighbourhood in the past. Ikechukwu is now in police custody.
Big Brother Naija: Pepper Dem housemate, Ike has shared why he doesn’t speak to his parents.
Ike while professing his love for Mercy last Saturday night, said his parents do not show him love like she does. According to him, he is not in talking terms with them because his father tried to disown him more than six times.
But, Mercy, while reassuring him of her love maintained that although she loves him, he needs to know that his parents love him more than she does and he has to open up his mind to love them in return.
She added, “They sent you to school because they love you and want you to be a better person.”
Meanwhile, the love birds on Sunday cleared the air about having sex on Saturday night. A viral video had emerged on Sunday morning showing both housemates under duvet making body movements.

Frodd was still in the wings as he never really got along with Esther and he also became interested in Venita.
In recent events, the Big Brother Naija Live Show saw the three housemates, call themselves out after being caught in a messy love triangle.
Ebuka shook some tables during the Live show. While all the housemates were seated in the lounge, waiting for instructions, he appeared on the screen and started to quiz them.
He asked Venita if any of the housemates had changed towards her since her arrival into the house and if she was surprised or disappointed about it.
She answered affirmatively and when he asked who, she didn’t hesitate to mention Omashola and Frodd.

Frodd, on his part, was asked about his feelings for Esther and the situation with Esther. He didn’t mince words as he revealed that he had made it clear from the onset that he still had feelings for Esther and never showed any romantic interest in her.
Omashola was aked about her relationship with Venita and he spoke about the fact that they weren’t on good terms. He elaborated on the fact that on the day she arrived in the house, he had been elated because they were from the same part of the country.
He had backed off when he had told her how he felt about her but she threw it back at him, choosing Frodd instead.
It is often said that in the Big Brother Naija house, Everybody stands a chance of winning something even if they miss out on the ultimate prize. That statement has been confirmed after Ebuka declared Tacha and Elozonam second in the Munch IT competition which comes with a N1million cash prize.
The housemates had taken on the Munch It Challenge for the prize of two million Naira and dinner on a canoe.
The Challenge which started shortly after the Housemates woke up included several Challenges to test the Housemates’ creativity, wit and dance moves.
According to Munch it, the final points in the task was reviewed and collated. It was a close contest for top spot but votes from our panel of judges and you, the fans ultimately declared Team Merike as the winner and Team Talo as the 1st runner up of the Munch It Mania challenge.
The winner will be given 2 million Naira cash reward while the 1st runner up will be given 1 million Naira cash.
