A major highlight of the event was moment the Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial district led the church in worship.

Dolapo Badmus, Zone 2 Police Public Relations Officer has given an update on the search for the woman filmed flogging a boy and putting him in a cage with dogs.
Recall it was reported earlier that, Nigerians have been calling for the lady to be found and punished after the video went viral on different social media platforms.
The Police spokesperson confirmed that a search has been initiated and also assured Nigerians of the police’s unrelenting effort to unravel and get justice for the maltreated young boy.

A Nigerian lawyer who married her ex after a very short courtship has told of how her marriage ended up being a nightmare that she had to escape from.
Kylie Joy Terundu said she had known her husband for only 3 months before they decided to get married. But while in the marriage, she realized it was different from her expectations and she had to make a life-changing decision.
She eventually decided to leave the marriage even though the union had already produced daughters.
She said she never believed she would end up a single mother but she’s glad she made the decision to divorce her husband and start all over.

I mean look at me, if anyone had told me that I would one day be a single mother, I wouldn’t have believed them.
I always thought that I would grow old with the one man that I marry; it’s what I wanted, it’s what I grew up witnessing.
My parents have been together for 31 years. Though imperfect, I watched my father treat my mother with so much love and respect.
They liked eachother’s company and I never witnessed dad being cruel to mum.
He was always supporting her even when we all knew that she has messed up.
It was so beautiful to watch (it still is) and I wanted the same for myself.But, when I got married to the man I met only three Months after “knowing” him (long distance), this dream of mine was not to hold.
I tried to make it work, we both did but in the end, I was so miserable (we both were). We were incompatible to say the least and when two persons who have completely different views about life, beliefs and dreams come to live together, the result is chaos.
I wasn’t going to cross over; that would have meant losing myself and everything that I believed in. He wasn’t going to cross either –
I was then faced with two options:1. To accept that situation and spend the rest of life wondering what might have been if I had married the man who shared my dreams, ideas, hopes and beliefs.
The man who spoke tenderly to me, who saw my soul for what it is, who wanted to take long walks together, play board games, enjoy reading my works and think that I am the most incredible being ever whom he cannot imagine a life without

A Detroit woman, Jay Dor has committed suicide on livestream after the sudden death of Giovanni Doll a.k.a GigiBaby, her lesbian girlfriend.
Giovanni Doll and Jay Dor were lesbian couple from Detroit. Unfortunately, a few weeks ago, Giovanni died in her sleep from health complications related to cancer.
Friends took to Facebook to mourn Giovanni. One of them was Mrz Lawson. She spoke about Giovanni in glowing terms.
But Jay Dor couldn’t bear the loss of her girlfriend so she became suicidal and began posting suicide hints on Facebook.
Jay Dor didn’t get the help she needed and she committed suicide by jumping off a bridge. She recorded her suicide on livestream.
Just before jumping to her death, she asked people to forgive her and said she already promised her lover she was going to be with her.

A 42-year-old Brazillian prisoner was caught attempting to escape from prison by dressing up as his teenage daughter.
Clauvino da Silva, a gang leader who is serving a 73-year sentence in a Brazil prison for drug trafficking, got a visit from his 19-year-old daughter and he tried to pull a jail-break by disguising as his daughter. But prison officials noticed he was looking suspicious and acting nervously so they stopped him.
Officials released photos showing Clauvino da Silva, aka Baixinho, or “Shorty”, wearing a silicone mask, a long wig, glasses, jeans and a pink girly T-shirt after being caught out.
Rio de Janeiro’s State Secretary of Prison Administration also released a video showing da Silva taking off the disguise and some of the clothes before saying his real name.
Back in 2013, he escaped Rio’s Gericinó prison by fleeing through the sewer, Brazil’s Globo reported. This time the plan was just to walk out through the main door, and leave his daughter in his cell.

Grace Opeyemi, the Obafemi Awolowo University student who made headlines for committing suicide by drinking Sniper on Friday August 2, had previously attempted suicide according to a coursemate.
The coursemate alleged that Grace attempted suicide in July but was unsuccessful. Though she didn’t give full details of the previous suicide attempt, she said the deceased was rushed to the OAU Health Centre in her recent attempt but was referred to the Accident and Emergency Unit of the OAU Teaching Hospital, where she died.
Punch reported that another coursemate identified as Adekola Oluwasetan, said Grace was a poet and wrote many poems, especially on depression.
She stated, “I am not particularly close to her. I only knew her through some of her literary works. Most of her works in poem and prose were on depression.
“To me, she acted against what she preached in most of her works. I also do not believe that she died as a result of poor academic results alone.
“Her original course mates graduated last session and she could not, because she failed 12 special electives and five core courses.
“She took the papers again but she failed some of them for the second time; that is the reason I believe that her action was as a result of depression.”
A statement released by the class representatives of the English Department after a meeting with the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and other top officers of the faculty on Sunday August 4, debunked claims of Opeyemi committing suicide due to her poor academic performance.
The statement read in part “The Dean, Faculty of Arts and Head of Department, English, summoned the exam officer, the immediate past President, Faculty of Arts Students’ Association, who happens to be the course mate of the deceased, and the incumbent FASA President, alongside the English part four class representatives to a meeting in the dean’s office this evening.
“A review of her result was done and it was discovered that she didn’t have five outstanding courses, neither did she have outstanding 12 special electives.
“She had 10 units of special electives passed already and she only had LIT 420 (project course) yet to be approved or graded. Only her SER result is still being verified. In fact, she carried no course over until her demise.
“We can then deduce that the deceased, Grace Dara Opeyemi’s death is not to be attributed to poor academic performance.”

Joro shared a photo he took with Juliet Ibrahim at her book launch and congratulated her on her achievement. But one of his followers took this to mean that they are in a romantic relationship and the follower decided to slut-shame Juliet Ibrahim.

A yet-to-be identified Nigerian lady was found dead underneath a hotel bed in Owerri the capital of Imo State.
Eyewitnesses claimed the incident occurred last weekend at a popular hotel along World Bank Road in Owerri, and a cleaner reportedly found the corpse.
It was further learnt that identifying the girl has been quite difficult, as the killer who is also yet to be identified fled with her belongings including her clothes and underwear.
The Imo State Police Command are reportedly investigating the incident suspected to be a case of ritual killing.

A 10-year-old orphan was dumped at a hospital in Benue state while experiencing labour pains and the child has now given birth after having to undergo Caesarean section due to the small size of her pelvis.
According to Chigozie Effe who shared the news on Facebook, the child named Masenengen Targba was dumped at General Hospital Markurdi located at Northbank by an unknown person in the early hours of Sunday, August 4, 2019.
She was in so much pain as it was time to have her baby, but surgery needed to be carried out and she could not afford it.
Upon interrogation, it was discovered that she is an orphan from Tiv in Benue state, but has been living in an Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) Camp located in Benue State. It is in the camp that she was raped and impregnated.
Eventually, a Good Samaritan named Mr Ukan took her to Foundation Memorial Hospital, Makurdi, Benue State, where Dr Ijoko and Dr Yima carried out an operation to deliver her of her daughter in the early hours of today, August 5.
Nigerian actress, Ufuoma McDermott took to Instagram to narrate how a CCTV footage busted a friend’s nanny who stole foreign currencies in her children’s room.
Calling on Nigerians to install CCTV in their homes, the actress revealed that the incident occurred after her friends convereged at her house with their kids. Ufuoma McDermott further revealed that what she saw in the CCTV footages is nothing short of a calculated professional career thief, waiting to be employed into people’s houses.

Ghanaian Actress and mum of one, Juliet Ibrahim in an new interview has revealed she was a rape victim and this happened during her childhood.
Ibrahim in the interview with BBC Pidgin, opened up on her bitter encounter as a child adding that she was sexually assaulted, but refused to give more details as she did not want to bring back the memories.

A Nigerian lady Uchechukwu Ogugua, got quite thankful as CCTV camera exposes her househelp Agatha, assaulting her 2-year-old son left in her care.
According to the lady, she thought her son’s teacher was inflicting the injuries on him but the CCTV footage uncovered who was behind the act. Accusing the 14-year-old househelp identified as Agatha Joshua of feeding her son with faeces, flogging him mercilessly and also sleeping with the driver and security man, the lady stated that she never maltreated or flogged her to get such in return.

On that fateful day, she rushed to me in d bathroom showing me cane marks on Prince’s back,tummy and face,saying its d class teacher that flogged him, i kept asking who is the heartless person that will flog a 2yr+ old like that
In less than one hour, my son vomitted more than 7 times,i knew something was seriously wrong because my son never vomits, even all through his teething and vaccinations,he hardly runs temperature or falls ill,he is extremely strong and healthy. Infact since i left the hospital after his delivery,i never stepped the hospital until 1y+.
Immediately,my son ,Agatha and i marched to the school and i confronted d teacher and headteacher,they said they do not beat kids in their school and that they equally saw the marks and intended to ask me who slapped him. When i called my mom, she insisted i check my house staff especially Agatha, but due to the trust and love i had for Agatha, i called her bluff and told her i highly doubt Agatha could do that. Nonetheless, i immediately included it in my to-do list to review my cctv camera fixed in the house as i was super busy, preparing for my child dedication. From there we proceeded to the lab for general tests and i ended up giving him antibiotics for typhoid.
…the postponing lingered until Sunday, 28th July when God touched me admist very tight schedules to finally check the recordings before it wipes from the memory…lo and behold ,the first thing i saw was Agatha flogging and beating my son mercilessly as shown in the videos..i couldn’t believe my eyes i started weeping profusely,drew the attention of my hubby and called my parents and siblings immediately.She even used ice cold water on several occasions to bathe him and wash his poo…no wonder i keep treating cough and cattarh every two weeks,i even started complaining that drugs are fake.
Do you know the cause of his strange vomiting that morning?? It was because Agatha gave him his excreta to eat on the previous day when they returned from school, after flogging him mercilessly for pooing on his clothes. Jesus wept!!!
I always used to praise Agatha and tell my colleagues at work and family that i am lucky to have her, and always thanked her uncle,the security man at my work place who brought her to me,not knowing she was a green snake,i never suspected a thing. Infact when my mom and sisters visited for omugwo and child dedication, each one had a complain about her stealing or being disrespectful but i waved all aside because of blind trust
Oh! who says my God is not pretty Amazing. What would i have done if God didn’t use me to install CCTV in my house?? How would I have ever discovered this great evil happening under my nose? This same CCTV installation, we kept postponing and even almost ignored because of d cost but for my sweet Jesus who made me insist on it. I always watch such videos on social media but i always thought it so vague and distant from me,i never knew it was happening right under my roof. The good thing was that i never let my staff know i had cctv in the house, because i wanted to first observe and see their actions and inactions while i was away at work before telling them. Agatha denied everything until she was shown d videos, she was shocked to her marrows, that is to tell you that d heart of man is desperately wicked… She thought no one was watching or would ever discover but she forgot God is ominipotent and ominiscient
This is how many kids all over the world are suffering under d care of trusted maids and servants, with no one to save them.
I also saw her on many occasions eating my baby’s food while he cried and begged her,no wonder she got so fat within her 11months of stay with me while my son became more lean sadly.
In addition, she has been sleeping with our gateman and driver under my roof on so many occasions chaiiii 14yr old Agatha, so so corrupt and useless…i never even knew she was sexually active right from Gboko even though she came to my house with no breasts. She even used airfreshner container to sex herself . she also uses my teddy bears to practice sex as you can see in one of the videos(i have discarded them incase she invoked spirits into them).I decided to share this with families and young people,especially mothers and intending mothers because of three major reasons
1. To testify and glorify the name of the Lord and put the devil to shame, he has failed and will continue to fail IJN!2. To encourage all families who employ maids or nannies or any form of domestic staff to save up and fix cctv cameras in their homes ,because were it not for this camera,i will still live with Agatha for years and she may end up killing and corrupting my children…i really thank God he is still a kid that will outgrow the torments if not it would have left an indelible memory in his mind and life, a trauma. Mommies, pend those human hair or fashion needs and save up to buy a cctv camera,it will help you beyond your imagination. Also lets not underestimate the power of prayers, moms always pray for your kids, It has great impact on their lives. You may install cctv but if God is not on your side, the enemy may still have their way. I strongly believe its God’s love that prompted me to even decide to bath him that day since six months that she has been d one bathing him, and that was the trigger for the reviewing of d cctv.
3. To advise women to learn from my testimony, and stop neglecting their kids. I have equally learnt my lessons greatly never to leave my son in total care of anyone,no matter how busy, because if anything more weighty had happened,i am not sure i will even be here typing this. God just used this as an eye opener to us. And so i deemed it wise and necessary to share. Also, on the matter of protecting the girl child, please and please mothers, know thee that once you give birth to a bby girl, your responsibilities have doubled,we have the full responsibilities as parents especially mothers to protect our girls from pedophiles and psycopaths,they are everywhere targetting innocent ,naive and gullible girls. I know boys are not excluded but its worst for the girl child. Please learn from this. You can’t believe Agatha confessed that she was defiled by her brother ,who kept using her and threatening her too and even made her used to it to the extent of using airfreshner container when the urge comes and there is no available man around chaiii
How i pity women who leave their kids especially girls in the care of maids or nannies without any form of monitoring in the name of career, travel or busy schedules…no matter our tighr schedules or the quantity of house helps we have,let us try to still pay serious attention to our jewels because they can’t be bought with money or gold.

A yet-be-identified Lagos policeman got more than he bargained for as a prostitute he slept with and refused to pay, humiliated him before residents of Idasho in Ibeju Lekki area of the state.
The policeman had agreed to pay the prostitute N7k for an all-night session but reneged on that in the morning. He ended up giving the sex worker N4k following the pressure mounted on him by the residents who also seized his properties.

The Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II has received his fourth wife four years after the wedding took place.
HRH Sa’adatu Barkindo Mustapha was brought to the Emir’s palace on Saturday while the traditional Budar Kai ceremony takes place on Sunday.
The Emir’s bride has just graduated from a University in the United Kingdom where she went to study immediately after the marriage.
It could be recalled that emir Sanusi II married the daughter of the Lamido of Adamawa, Muhammadu Barkindo-Mustafa, in a low-key ceremony held in Yola on September 25, 2015.
The 4th Mrs Sanusi II was an 18-yr-old secondary school leaver when the wedding was contracted.
Kano state Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, represented the emir at the event while then Adamawa state Governor, Jibrilla Bindow, played the role of the bride’s guardian, who gave her hand out in marriage.
The Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II was at that time away in Saudi Arabia, as leader of Nigeria’s delegation to the Hajj.
The Emir has three other wives, which are the first wife Sadiya, daughter of the late emir of Kano, Ado Bayero, Maryam and Rakiya.
Music executive, Ubi Franklin’s alleged fourth baby mama, Sandra Iheuwa, has welcomed a baby.
Sandra announced the arrival of her baby who she has christened, Baby A.C. Iheuwa, on her Instagram page few hours ago.
In her post, the businesswoman who welcomed her baby in the US, wrote on how her pregnancy was denied when it was made public by a man who should have loved their child regardless of how he or she came.
According to her, the father of her baby was more concerned about his public image – she promised to give the baby the best life she can with the support of her family.

Welcome to the world my baby A.C. Iheuwa. You are finally here and I can’t contain my excitement and happiness holding you in my arms with tears of joy. You fought to be here after all the complications and manipulation but you won. When my pregnancy was made public you got denied and rejected by the man that’s suppose to protect and love you regardless of how you came about seems like his public image was more important but don’t worry baby you got me and the whole Iheuwa clan especially your grandpa and uncles.
You will be a blessing beyond our expectations as long as i live you will not suffer or lack anything you will get the best life and education. I have a lot to tell you my baby but I’m going to wait till you are able to read and write because I know you are going to read this someday and a whole lot on the internet. BBNaija housemate, Omashola, broke down in tears final night as he mentioned how he lost his ex-girlfriend because of his terrible behaviour.
Omashola openned up while he was settling his scores with fellow housemate, Frodd, who he had a spat with because of Venita some few days ago.
Recall that Omashola showed so much interest in Venita when she came into the house newly but she however ended up with Frodd. This caused a friction between both men.
While they settled their scores, Omashola pointed out that he will never allow himself and another man fight because of a woman or money.
According to him, he said he lost the most beautiful girl in the world, because of his bad behaviour. He said, he sent his mum a picture of his ex while they were still together and his mother who appeared to like the girl, asked him to hurriedly take her to his dad. He added that when his dad saw his ex, he asked him to marry her. Sadly, he behaved badly and the girl dumped him a year ago.
His tears showed he is still grieving the loss of the relationship.
