A Nigeria Lady was left in shock over what she discovered in the snack she bought to quench her hunger.
The lady had purchased the meatpie worth N50 from a street vendor but it turned out to be a “Vegetarian’s meatpie” as she found green leaves inside.
She took to social media to share the video, in which she opened it and revealed what she found inside the meatpie.

A Nigerian man has talked on the issue of provocation to the extent of assault in relationships as he advises women who are being beaten by their partners.
Wayne Michaels in a post shared on Facebook, said women are capable of extreme provocation and further advised that they shouldn’t provoke a man ‘wild enough’ to beat them.
He however added that when a man beats a woman, she needs to understand that he is correcting her for something she did wrong.

Another man may not hit you when you’re running your mouth or abusing him, he may just walk away or go to his room hoping you’d realize you’re wrong by shouting at him and calm but women usually regard such men as weak and some would even follow him to his room to continue with the “mouth battering” as you term it “finishing him” … believing that they’ve won the fight…. In a weekend interview with Saturday Sun Newspapers, Dolly Nwaduba, actress, writer and producer, shared with Inside Nollywood her unforgettable heartbreak which almost led her into depression.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has secured the conviction and sentencing of seven internet fraudsters, Wusu Damilare, Salako Oluwasegun Daniel, Odunola Jason, Brian Emeka Ebong, Arinze Princewill, Babajide Mudashiru and Adeshina Afeez Kolawole to one year imprisonment each before Justice Mojisola Dada of the Special Offences Court sitting in Ikeja, Lagos.
A statement released by the antigraft agency says the convicts were arraigned by the EFCC for possession of fraudulent documents.
Some of the charges read: “That you, Wusu Damilare, sometime in 2019 in Lagos, within the Ikeja Judicial Division, with intent to defraud, had in your possession to wit: pseudo email account, document titled ‘[email protected]’ and ‘[email protected]’, which document you knew contained false pretence.”
“That you, Salako Oluwasegun Daniel, sometime in 2019, in Lagos within the Ikeja Judicial Division, with intent to defraud, had in your possession a fraudulent document, which document you knew contained false pretence.”
Similarly, Justice Sherifat Solebo of the Special Offences Court sitting in Ikeja, Lagos has convicted and sentenced the trio of Balogun Sultan, Olalekan Savage and Daniel Ezo to various jail terms for possession of fraudulent documents.
The convicts were arraigned separately by the EFCC for their involvements in internet frauds.
In view of their guilty pleas, the prosecution informed the Justice Mojisola Dada’s court that the defendants had entered into a “plea bargain” with the Commission, adding that they also made confessional statements.
The prosecution, while reviewing the facts of the cases, told the court that the defendants were arrested, following intelligence reports received about their involvements in internet frauds.
The prosecution further stated that some false documents, two cars, iphones, laptops and some amounts of money were recovered from the defendants.
The court admitted in evidence the defendants’ confessional statements, the false documents as well as the funds recovered from the defendants.
Consequently, the prosecution urged the court to convict the defendants.
Justice Dada, after listening to the prayers of both parties, convicted and sentenced the fraudsters to one year imprisonment each.
The Judge further held that the sentencing must commence from the “day of judgment”.
Justice Dada also ordered that items recovered from the convicts be forfeited to Federal Government.
The Judge, however, gave an option of fine of N250, 000 (Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira) to Ebong, Princewill, Mudashiru and Kolawole.
The convicts were ordered to write an undertaking with the EFCC, promising that they would never return to the crimes.
One of the charges against Balogun who was brought before Justice Sherifat Solebo reads: “That you, Balogun Sultan, sometime in 2019 in Lagos, within the Ikeja Judicial Division, with intent to defraud, had in your possession a fraudulent document, which document you knew contained false pretence.”
For Olalekan, the charge reads: “That you, Olalekan Savage sometime in 2019, in Lagos within the Ikeja Judicial Division, with intent to defraud, had in your possession a fraudulent document, which document you knew contained false pretence.”
The defendants pleaded guilty to the charges when they were read to them.
In view of their pleas, the prosecution informed the court that the defendants had entered into a plea bargain with the EFCC.
The court admitted in evidence the defendants’ confessional statements and some false documents tendered by the prosecution.
The prosecution also urged the court to convict the fraudsters according to the plea bargain agreement.
Delivering her judgment, Justice Solebo convicted and sentenced Sultan to seven months imprisonment. The Judge also sentenced Savage to one year imprisonment.
The third defendant, Ezo, was convicted and sentenced to eight months imprisonment.
Police in Ogun State have arrested three herdsmen suspected to have killed a 40-year-old farmer, Rafiu Sowemimo, on Sunday at Adao village in Alabata area of Abeokuta.
This was contained in a statement by the State Command Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, on Monday, that the suspects stabbed Sowemimo to death when he (victim) challenged them for grazing their cattle on his farm.
Abimbola said the State Commissioner of Police, Bashir Makama, worried by this incident, deployed his men to the area of and ensured that the hoodlums get arrested for prosecution.
The PPRO said the victim age according to the villagers was 40 and not 76 reported in the media.
The team said to be led by Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Operations and that of the State Criminal Investigation Department swung into action and arrested the trio of Muhammed Adamu, Saliu Ismail and Saliu Adamu.
The Police boss while commiserating with the villagers and family members of the victim, assured proper investigation and prosecution of the suspects.
He also ordered that the suspected criminals be transferred to the Homicide section of the State Criminal investigation and intelligence department for proper investigation and prosecution

A trader, Mrs Kuditat Ajayi, 52, told an Igando Customary Court that she slept with her brother-in-law because she thought he was her husband.
Ajayi’s husband, Akande, is seeking the dissolution of their 35-year-old marriage, accusing her of infidelity.
”I was in bed in the night when my husband’s younger brother came to the house my husband rented for me.
“I thought it was my husband who normally come to the house at that particular time between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. to play and sleep with me.
“It was after he finished making love to me that I realised that he was not my husband.
“When I queried him, he claimed that my husband had traveled that was why he came to have sex with me.
“I reported the case to my brother’s wife, who advised me not to tell my brother so that peace can reign in the family.”
The respondent said that her husband treats the children of the other wives better than hers.
The mother of four denied being fetish as claimed by husband.
Ajayi prayed the court not to grant her husband’s wish for the dissolution of their marriage that she still love him.
The petitioner, Akande, approached the court to terminate his 35-year-old marriage accusing wife of infidelity.
He said that his wife was wayward and adulterous that her man friend was claiming paternity of one of their children.
“When I married her, I rented an apartment for her because I have other wives and I don’t want them to live together.
“I started hearing from people in the area that my wife was having affair with a man, initially I ignored it until her lover came claiming ownership of one of my children.
“The man eventually came to the house but I refused to open the door for him.
“When I questioned my wife, she confessed that the man slept with her but it did not result in pregnancy.”
The 71-year-old businessman said that his wife was fetish.
“I once caught her burying something in my compound, I accosted her and tried to remove what she buried there but I could not.
“I went out before I returned, she had cemented the place.”
He begged the court to end the marriage that he was no longer interested that the love he once had for her had faded.
The president of the court, Mr Adeniyi Koledoye, urged the two parties to maintain peace and adjourned the case until Aug.22 for judgment
Former Super Eagles coach, Christian Chukwu has come out to give gratitude to billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola, after the latter footed his medical bill.
Through the aid of the billionaire, Chukwu, who was down with prostrate cancer, underwent a surgery at Wellington Hospital in London.
Otedola had issued him a cheque of $50,000 ahead of the medical trip. When he visited the billionaire upon his return to the country, Chukwu said after God, Otedola is the next person in his life.

As a music curator, it is observed that people who buy / stream music in Nigeria are the well to do / educated people that understand content creators should get benefits for their works but these set of people swear they hate Naira Marley especially on social media ; one question is who then gets him to no1 spot on most streaming sites, request programs, top Djs playlist, trends on social media and every other felicitating platforms you can think of ? It isnt far fetched that Nigerians are the biggest self righteous hypocrites of all time, they reject everything in public that they gladly accept in private, it is not rocket science why our nation is still a little less on the developing side. When a song goes to the no1 spot on its first 5 days of release, it is understandable because of curiosity but when it stays longer than 3 weeks at the top 10 chart then you know these so called self righteous people are really the ones grooving to his songs and doing the soapy dance in the dark like it is crack. Regardless of the machines that manipulate streaming numbers, always realise he isnt the only artiste with the connect and also you can only mess with the analytical data if people are actually listening to your project and i tell you people from all around Nigeria are listening to him. To book Naira Marley for a gig, it would cost you 2-3 million Naira depending on your location and right now, he is on high demand so you see things dont add up.
Who is playing his songs, requesting every dj to put him on, following him on social media, feeding off his publicity, booking him ? Yes it is us, the hypocritical fresh people that swear his platform to the new generation is cancerous. One thing is almost certain is if we do not like his music we can end his career the same way we made it by not listening to him or his music. We as top predators in the music food chain might not determine who listens to him but we determine how long he holds that platform.
The hypocrisy of the Nigerian populace especially those we call “fresh” can be observed by from as far as the solar system. We go around condemning acts in public that we glorify in secret so instead of making progressive moves, we dilly dally around the point because we identify with the cancer deep down. Naira Marley has 3 songs on top streaming charts and getting booked all around the world by the so called self righteous hypocrites paying his bills. It is safe to say NIGERIANS ARE THE REAL VILLAINS.

Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of the Commonwealth Zion Assembly (COZA) who has been mentioned in a string of rape allegations and sexcapades, has been lent a hand of support and something resembling a ringing endorsement from the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN).
Celebrity photographer, Busola Dakolo, had accused Fatoyinbo of sexually assaulting her twice in quick succession long before she clocked the nation’s age of consent.
Mrs Dakolo’s family was close friends with the pastor and the church when the incidents occurred, she said.
“No one ignores me. You should be happy that a man of God did this to you”, Dakolo would quote Fatoyinbo as saying after he allegedly raped her and left her scarred for decades.
In early July, another ex-COZA member accused the debonair and hip pastor of raping her.
“He had taken off my button and my zipper was down. And then he had one hand holding me back to the couch and another hand right up in my pant. I think at that point, I pretty much just knew what was about to happen,” this anonymous ex-COZA member had said.
Fatoyinbo has also been accused of using his position to sexually abuse a host of young, impressionable women, most of whom served as workers in his church at different times.

In a video posted online by Twitter user @Kingwole, Abuja representatives of CAN can be seen drumming their support for Fatoyinbo in his COZA church, as the audience applauded with every sentence.
“I assure you that we are with you and will continue to be with you. We are in support of the church, we are in support of your pastor, we stand by him and this church will continue to march forward. I declare that the gates of hell shall not prevail against this church”, the FCT CAN Chairman thundered from the raised platform.
CAN’s north central chairman would go on to say “we are with you in prayer. The lord will bring you out even stronger. Our pastor will continue to be the voice of God. We want you to know you are not alone. You have many brothers and sisters that are praying for you.”
At the height of recent rape allegations featuring Fatoyinbo’s name, CAN said it could not jump into conclusion, preferring instead to maintain an undignified silence.
The church in Nigeria has often been accused of protecting its own and shielding accused pastors from prosecution.

A ‘popular’ cleaner identified as Francis has been shot dead by operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS)
The unfortunate incident happened on Monday along Ajisegiri street, in the Ilupeju area of Lagos State.
According to multiple reports, the policemen, apparently shot at a group of hemp smokers when the victim was struck dead by the bullet, and killed.
The SARS officials were said to have fled the scene immediately.
Folks who were present at the scene of the incident shared photos and videos on social media, which shows a bucket, containing brooms, parker and a brush which were the tools of the deceased.
A resident who asked not to be identified confirmed the incident to Punchng.com on the telephone.

Woke up to a lot of death threat in Jacky’s inbox all because of how she was put on the spot by Ebuka For all who watched the show, you’d know that it was Kaffy who said she had a dream and Jackye never mentioned Tacha’s name until she was put on the spot by Ebuka to mention names and I am wondering why Kaffy wasn’t also put on the spot. Kaffy and Jackye bonded like sisters and I expected Kaffy to have taken a stand for Jackye on how the conversation started but it’s a game therefore there would be all sorts of betrayal and inner plans. I am sure people who know Jackye personally know what she truly stand for, integrity and truth.
Come to think of it why didn’t WEuka call out Efe when he called Tboss a witch and why didn’t he caution Cee’c when she thrash talked at Tobi? I may not be politically correct with this but in my opinion it was a wrong move from Ebuka who is suppose to be a professional, abi am you dey add the #pepperdem now not the housemates themselves.
Out of all the beautiful convos she has had in the house, he never asked her why her mood was dull and all rather chose to spotlight a conversation that will sharpen narrative towards the person he may be rooting for.
To Ebuka, I don’t know you, I have never met you but please don’t use your own to pour sand sand inside Jackye’s garri and now that you’ve used yours to attract death threats for her while she’s in the house, I hope you’re happy right.
Let it be clear that Jackye never called Tacha a witch and we are very proud she never denied the conversation too rather she took the entire shame and chinned up like a sting lady should. Jackye may not have responded to the question rightly on the spot because she probably didn’t want to put blames on anyone when things go wrong and her name is mentioned but I am sure she’d learn from this event and make proper adjustment hopefully.

A 47-year-old woman was stopped by quick-thinking stewards as she attempted to invade the Cricket World Cup final between England and New Zealand on Sunday.
Elena Vulitsky, was advertising the same x-rated website her son’s girlfriend Kinsey Wolanski promoted at the Champions League final between Liverpool and Tottenham.
Back in May, Kinsey Wolanski, the girlfriend of Vulitsky’s son Vitaly Zdorovetskiy, invaded the pitch while wearing a skimpy swimsuit advertising the Russian porn pranking website.
She was later caught and escorted off the pitch by security.
Yesterday, Vulitsky also hit the pitch wearing a similar skimpy swimsuit before she was picked up and dragged over the advertising boards.
Ms. Elena Vulitsky and her son Vitaly are said to be the brain behind the Russian porn-pranking website.
Nigerian music mogul, 2Baba Idibia came through with a reply after he was asked how he felt seeing Nollywood actor, Alex Ekubo kiss his wife, Annie Idibia in a new movie they featured in.

General Overseer of the Latter Rain Assembly in Lagos, Pastor Tunde Bakare has reacted to the gruesome murder of Mrs Funke Olakunrin, the daughter of Afenifere leader, Pa Reuben Fasoranti.
Pastor Bakere alleged that the political and security leaders in the country have been playing politics with the lives of the citizens through deliberate inaction.
He said ;
“A few weeks ago here, I called the attention of the nation to the impostors who visited Aso Rock in the name of Afenifere leaders. Now you have killed the daughter of the real Afenifere leader, a 95-year-old man.
“And you think God will overlook these things. Someone who had gone to see her father and returning to her station! I tell you, now, the cup is full.”
“The other day, the wife of the Governor of Central Bank (of Nigeria) was kidnapped; and within a few hours, they did not just rescue the woman, they also arrested those who perpetrated the crime.
“Now, the daughter of Pa Fasoranti has been killed, and we have been hearing only stories, nothing tangible has been achieved.

Some Nigerians have stormed the Instagram page of Blessing Osom, the former friend of actress Tonto Dikeh who on Sunday, July 14th, celebrated the actress’s estranged husband, Olakunle Churchill for gifting her N3million as a birthday gift.
Blessing and the actress were said to be quite good friends before they fell out after Tonto’s marriage to Churchill packed up. Yesterday was Blessing’s birthday and she took to her page to share a screenshot of a N3million credit alert, stating it was from Churchill.
Some Nigerian IG users thereafter stormed the comment section of the said post and accused Blessing of being a “bad friend”. Even actress, Rosy Meurer who was reported to have had a hand in Tonto’s marital crisis was dragged too after she celebrated Blessing in her comment section.

Super Falcons goalkeeper between 2012 and 2013, Bidemi Aluko, is reportedly battling breast cancer which she was diagnosed with in 2017 while still playing for Rivers Angels in the Nigerian Women’s Premier League.
Sharing how she was left with no choice than to quit football over the ailment, Bidemi who spoke to Punch said she was asked to undergo surgery, chemotherapy and radiation and needs N5m for treatment in Nigeria.
“It was in 2017 that I was diagnosed with breast cancer. The incident made me stop playing. I was still with Rivers Angels when this happened. Since then, I have been doing all the necessary things the doctor asked me to do. I came out of it but I don’t know what happened again. Recently, I was feeling so bad and unhealthy. I was feeling severe pains all over my body. I went to my doctor to complain and he said I should go for a test.
“The result came out 90 per cent tumour cells, which means the type of breast cancer I have is aggressive and needs urgent attention. Since then, I started undergoing a target therapy.
“The doctor told me I need drugs and each costs about N470,000 per dose. I am expected to take 10. I already did the operation since 2017 but don’t have such money (for the drugs) now.
“So far, Falcons (players) have helped; they have contributed something for me and I appreciate that but the money isn’t complete yet. I am soliciting to Nigerians to help me, save my life, so that I will be able to foot my medical bills.
“To survive this difficult period, I will need at least N5m for the whole drugs as I will be taking them every two weeks. I do not wish to come publicly to solicit for funds, but I have no other choice. I really need help.”
The Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, has pledged their support for Senior Pastor of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly COZA, Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo, who has been accused of rape by wife of singer, Timi Dakolo, Busola, and another anonymous lady.
It should be recalled that a fortnight and some days ago, Busola granted an explosive interview where she alleged that Fatoyinbo who was her Pastor when she was quite younger, raped her in her father’s apartment and went on to have sex with her a few other times.
The news stirred up widespread condemnation and even a protest was staged in front of COZA church in Abuja and Lagos.
Fatoyinbo was forced to step aside as the Senor Pastor of the Church – he released a statement, denying the allegation and vowing to challenge his accusers in court.
During the church’s service yesterday, Sunday July 14th, the president of CAN Abuja, Reverend Jonah Samson and CAN President North Central, Reverend Israel Akanji, came visiting where they spoke to the congregation, pledging their support and prayers for Fatoyinbo and COZA church as they face this hard times.
In his speech, Reverend Jonah said CAN is behind Fatoyinbo and COZA as they stand this trying period.
”I assure you that we are with you and we will continue to be with you. We are in support of the church. We are in support of your pastor. We stand by him. and this church will continue to match forward. The I declare that the gates of hell shall not prevail against this church in the mighty name of Jesus” Reverend Jonah said
On his part, Reverend Akanji in his speech, said Jesus expects his followers to be like the good Samaritan who was there to give help to a wounded soldier and not turn his back on such a soldier. He also pledged his support to Fatoyinbo and COZA, adding that many Christians were praying for them.
