A Nigerian man has talked on the issue of provocation to the extent of assault in relationships as he advises women who are being beaten by their partners.
Wayne Michaels in a post shared on Facebook, said women are capable of extreme provocation and further advised that they shouldn’t provoke a man ‘wild enough’ to beat them.
He however added that when a man beats a woman, she needs to understand that he is correcting her for something she did wrong.
Read him below,
Dear women, please understand FIRST that you should NOT provoke your man “wild enough” to beat you because you women are very fond of extreme provocation… I’ve seen women barking at their supposed husbands…
Understand secondly that EVEN if he hits you first, you’re not supposed to retaliate by hitting him second because that will inarguably make him hit you again and again and again in a bid to “supposedly” subdue you and that in effect will become “battering” and also termed “wifebeating” which you intiated…
In any event, that he hits you, understand that he’s correcting you over something you did wrong that got him deeply offended, even though there could be other approaches but since at the moment, hitting you is what he decided upon, desist from doing more of what you did that warranted the first hit….
For example, if you were running your mouth before the first blow, keep QUIET and step back, he wouldn’t hit you the second time because he would notice the change unless he’s Mad… You can talk over your differences in bed or at an outing… In a manner, time and atmosphere that would be understandable and calm for you both… BE RESPONSIBLE as a woman, as a wife being responsible doesn’t dutifully belong to men alone… One reason why some men prefer High School graduates over University graduates, is because they “argue less”…
There are different kinds of men, we don’t all react the same way to similar situations and please don’t expect us to….
Another man may not hit you when you’re running your mouth or abusing him, he may just walk away or go to his room hoping you’d realize you’re wrong by shouting at him and calm but women usually regard such men as weak and some would even follow him to his room to continue with the “mouth battering” as you term it “finishing him” … believing that they’ve won the fight…. So many men have resorted to showing they’re not weak by giving a resetting slap or a hit.. And that is how beating sets in and continues because when he understands that you need to be hit to come back to your senses, it becomes “regular practice”..
So I’m advising you MADAMS ever willing to face your husbands man to man with full strength and mouth vigor and daring him to touch you to please DESIST from your wicked provocative and terrible actions….
In the name of all that is good, DO NOT engage your husband in a fight because you want to face him Man to Man… Tell yourself the truth of what made him do what he did, retract from that and peace would reign..
Nothing hurts a Man as much as you stepping on his EGO, it is “justifiable” if he gets physical with you or his fellow man!
Those being said, I would also like to support the fact that cheating is NOT a good thing but it is very great a possible thing for men to cheat, it is not an extraterrestrial thing… To that effect, it is not enough to FIGHT a man because he’s cheating, it is also not enough to leave your home because your husband is cheating because doing so would only leave your home “vulnerable to habitation” by the sidechicks…. If your husband is a cheat, there are better ways to provoke sympathy, pity and CHANGE from him without causing a scene….. And while you work at winning your husband back, “protect” yourself sexually in every way you can…
Do not let the Devil ruin your home and do not take EVERY advise you find on Social Media…. Most of the advises you find on social media are wicked but soothing to the ears…
Many of those people advising you to divorce or leave, have broken homes and terrible marriages and are not happy with their condition just like the devil recruiting people en mass for destruction, they are out to get as many people as possible to be like them…. There is also another category who wouldn’t do what they’re advising you to do if and when in your case but so much relish the fun of bad marriage stories popping up on facebook everyday for entertainment… Sadly, you wouldn’t know until the deed is done..
In a weekend interview with Saturday Sun Newspapers, Dolly Nwaduba, actress, writer and producer, shared with Inside Nollywood her unforgettable heartbreak which almost led her into depression.
She shared how she was at the verge of doing extreme things to her ex because he broke her heart but the fear of going to prison restrained her.
“One Wish is an unconventional love story I wrote last year after a very bad breakup.
I was really depressed and had a lot of messed up thoughts in my head, but for the fear of going to prison, I had to restrain myself from going to the extreme.
So, I did what every great writer would do. I poured out my thoughts on the pages of my book, and being blessed as an actor, I carried out my evil plot of kidnapping my ex on his wedding day without fear of actually going to jail for it,” she said amidst laughter.
Except you’ve been living in a cave for the past few months, then there’s no way you can be oblivious of the trending marriage that happened between Regina Daniels and much older than her, Nigerian billionaire and politician, Ned Nwoko.
The news of their union caused a frenzy on social media as people had lots of opinion about them – they certainly were unfazed about what people had to say and continued with their happily ever after.

Others defended her saying that she’s pregnant so it’s normal to look that way.

A statement released by the antigraft agency says the convicts were arraigned by the EFCC for possession of fraudulent documents.

Similarly, Justice Sherifat Solebo of the Special Offences Court sitting in Ikeja, Lagos has convicted and sentenced the trio of Balogun Sultan, Olalekan Savage and Daniel Ezo to various jail terms for possession of fraudulent documents.
The convicts were arraigned separately by the EFCC for their involvements in internet frauds.
In view of their guilty pleas, the prosecution informed the Justice Mojisola Dada’s court that the defendants had entered into a “plea bargain” with the Commission, adding that they also made confessional statements.
The prosecution, while reviewing the facts of the cases, told the court that the defendants were arrested, following intelligence reports received about their involvements in internet frauds.
The prosecution further stated that some false documents, two cars, iphones, laptops and some amounts of money were recovered from the defendants.
The court admitted in evidence the defendants’ confessional statements, the false documents as well as the funds recovered from the defendants.
Consequently, the prosecution urged the court to convict the defendants.
Justice Dada, after listening to the prayers of both parties, convicted and sentenced the fraudsters to one year imprisonment each.
The Judge further held that the sentencing must commence from the “day of judgment”.
Justice Dada also ordered that items recovered from the convicts be forfeited to Federal Government.
The Judge, however, gave an option of fine of N250, 000 (Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira) to Ebong, Princewill, Mudashiru and Kolawole.
The convicts were ordered to write an undertaking with the EFCC, promising that they would never return to the crimes.
One of the charges against Balogun who was brought before Justice Sherifat Solebo reads: “That you, Balogun Sultan, sometime in 2019 in Lagos, within the Ikeja Judicial Division, with intent to defraud, had in your possession a fraudulent document, which document you knew contained false pretence.”
For Olalekan, the charge reads: “That you, Olalekan Savage sometime in 2019, in Lagos within the Ikeja Judicial Division, with intent to defraud, had in your possession a fraudulent document, which document you knew contained false pretence.”
The defendants pleaded guilty to the charges when they were read to them.
In view of their pleas, the prosecution informed the court that the defendants had entered into a plea bargain with the EFCC.
The court admitted in evidence the defendants’ confessional statements and some false documents tendered by the prosecution.
The prosecution also urged the court to convict the fraudsters according to the plea bargain agreement.
Delivering her judgment, Justice Solebo convicted and sentenced Sultan to seven months imprisonment. The Judge also sentenced Savage to one year imprisonment.
The third defendant, Ezo, was convicted and sentenced to eight months imprisonment.

”I was in bed in the night when my husband’s younger brother came to the house my husband rented for me.
“I thought it was my husband who normally come to the house at that particular time between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. to play and sleep with me.
“It was after he finished making love to me that I realised that he was not my husband.

Former Super Eagles coach, Christian Chukwu has come out to give gratitude to billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola, after the latter footed his medical bill.
Through the aid of the billionaire, Chukwu, who was down with prostrate cancer, underwent a surgery at Wellington Hospital in London.
Otedola had issued him a cheque of $50,000 ahead of the medical trip. When he visited the billionaire upon his return to the country, Chukwu said after God, Otedola is the next person in his life.
“Otedola has made me, I can play football again. If you saw me before I left for London, you won’t believe I’ll be here talking to you. I think I won’t be making a mistake if I say after God, it’s Otedola in my life. I had many complications and I couldn’t walk.
When I heard Otedola brought out money for my treatment, I marvelled because in my circle, we didn’t know him before then. We have people with us but maybe they forgot or it’s not in their character (to help). I don’t know how to thank Otedola enough, God bless him” he said.
Lilian, Chukwu’s wife, who was with him, said God used Otedola to bring her husband back to life. Earlier, the billionaire had said he was glad to have been of help to the sportsman, saying assisting people is his way of life.
He said while some of his friends could spend N50 million on champagne, he would rather spend money on people.
Music curator, Joseph Abalokwu in a new write-up has given reasons on why Naira Marley is not the bad guy, but ‘we are’.
Naira Marley’s many controversies especially his new song/dance ‘Soapy’ makes him a constant target for morally upriight folks and while he enjoys the buzz from it, many Ngerians feel he’s a bad influence.
But Read Below…
In my previous article, i somewhat metioned that a substance cannot be called trash if it performs its intended purpose, though you may not like it or its quality might be reduced, if the substance is still used for its intended purpose, then it cannot be trash so lets relate this analogy to the music sphere, if i, a music connoiseur in my own rights, calls a project “a little bit garbage like” (which i have learnt not to) but that particular project goes on to be no. 1, rakes in millions of downloads, connects to a million and one persons and blows up in the clubs, radios and all supposed platforms then thats my personal problem, it isnt any better to me but then it has fulfiled its intended purpose – To connect people.
When Azeez Fashola aka Naira Marley blew up in 2016 with his banger “issa goal” which strategically came out during the FIFA world cup in Brazil, Nigerians thought the streets had finally taken over, young street artistes were shaking up the airwaves with Zlatan Ibile, Chinko Ekun, Danny S also coming up strong. It was their time to shine again since the early days of Olamide but little did they know they were feeding an uncontrollable, unrepentant, no manner villain. A villiain that would come back and remind people why you dont give the street / uneducated a big platform. Since going mainstream, the U.K returnee has been in one controversy or the other with little or no remorse for its consequences. Naira Marley to me is a cunning individual that understands his target market which is why i and every music enthusiast out there are scared of him. An artiste that understands his listeners are a sect of rebels that have been neglected for so long and are in dire need of a hero, an artiste that isnt conforming to societal norms, an artiste that calls a spade a spade and stands by it, an artiste projecting more the bad than the good, an infamy, thats why we are scared. A man dubbed by his fans as the Mandela of the Nigerian music scene and infamously going to jail for standing up for internet fraudsters, Naira Marley has made himself the ignominious local champion but with all these adjectives qualifying the young man, is he really the vilian ?
As a music curator, it is observed that people who buy / stream music in Nigeria are the well to do / educated people that understand content creators should get benefits for their works but these set of people swear they hate Naira Marley especially on social media ; one question is who then gets him to no1 spot on most streaming sites, request programs, top Djs playlist, trends on social media and every other felicitating platforms you can think of ? It isnt far fetched that Nigerians are the biggest self righteous hypocrites of all time, they reject everything in public that they gladly accept in private, it is not rocket science why our nation is still a little less on the developing side. When a song goes to the no1 spot on its first 5 days of release, it is understandable because of curiosity but when it stays longer than 3 weeks at the top 10 chart then you know these so called self righteous people are really the ones grooving to his songs and doing the soapy dance in the dark like it is crack. Regardless of the machines that manipulate streaming numbers, always realise he isnt the only artiste with the connect and also you can only mess with the analytical data if people are actually listening to your project and i tell you people from all around Nigeria are listening to him. To book Naira Marley for a gig, it would cost you 2-3 million Naira depending on your location and right now, he is on high demand so you see things dont add up.
Who is playing his songs, requesting every dj to put him on, following him on social media, feeding off his publicity, booking him ? Yes it is us, the hypocritical fresh people that swear his platform to the new generation is cancerous. One thing is almost certain is if we do not like his music we can end his career the same way we made it by not listening to him or his music. We as top predators in the music food chain might not determine who listens to him but we determine how long he holds that platform.
The hypocrisy of the Nigerian populace especially those we call “fresh” can be observed by from as far as the solar system. We go around condemning acts in public that we glorify in secret so instead of making progressive moves, we dilly dally around the point because we identify with the cancer deep down. Naira Marley has 3 songs on top streaming charts and getting booked all around the world by the so called self righteous hypocrites paying his bills. It is safe to say NIGERIANS ARE THE REAL VILLAINS.
Timi and his wife, Busola are pictured below celebrating with their daughter who turned 7 years old yesterday July 14th.
Timi and Busola have been trending topics on social media ever since the latter called out the Senior Pastor of COZA for an alleged rape while she was still a teenager.
Watch video where CAN leaders pledge support for Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo after rape allegation
Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of the Commonwealth Zion Assembly (COZA) who has been mentioned in a string of rape allegations and sexcapades, has been lent a hand of support and something resembling a ringing endorsement from the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN).
Celebrity photographer, Busola Dakolo, had accused Fatoyinbo of sexually assaulting her twice in quick succession long before she clocked the nation’s age of consent.
Mrs Dakolo’s family was close friends with the pastor and the church when the incidents occurred, she said.
“No one ignores me. You should be happy that a man of God did this to you”, Dakolo would quote Fatoyinbo as saying after he allegedly raped her and left her scarred for decades.
In early July, another ex-COZA member accused the debonair and hip pastor of raping her.
“He had taken off my button and my zipper was down. And then he had one hand holding me back to the couch and another hand right up in my pant. I think at that point, I pretty much just knew what was about to happen,” this anonymous ex-COZA member had said.
Fatoyinbo has also been accused of using his position to sexually abuse a host of young, impressionable women, most of whom served as workers in his church at different times.
The video that has got Twitter talking
So CAN representatives went to COZA to show support for Biodun Fatoyinbo yesterday. Nigeria really is a "special" country lol pic.twitter.com/03ELk13XtP
In a video posted online by Twitter user @Kingwole, Abuja representatives of CAN can be seen drumming their support for Fatoyinbo in his COZA church, as the audience applauded with every sentence.
“I assure you that we are with you and will continue to be with you. We are in support of the church, we are in support of your pastor, we stand by him and this church will continue to march forward. I declare that the gates of hell shall not prevail against this church”, the FCT CAN Chairman thundered from the raised platform.
CAN’s north central chairman would go on to say “we are with you in prayer. The lord will bring you out even stronger. Our pastor will continue to be the voice of God. We want you to know you are not alone. You have many brothers and sisters that are praying for you.”
At the height of recent rape allegations featuring Fatoyinbo’s name, CAN said it could not jump into conclusion, preferring instead to maintain an undignified silence.
The church in Nigeria has often been accused of protecting its own and shielding accused pastors from prosecution.
