Popular Comedian, Okechukwu Onyegbule also known as Okey Bakassi, says insecure and jealous men have no business marrying well-educated and beautiful ladies, if they don’t believe in equal rights.
According to him, men who want their wives to ‘worship and serve’ them should rather go for illiterate women.
“If you don’t believe that man and woman are equal and have equal rights, don’t bother about marriage.
“If you are looking for a woman to worship and serve you, don’t marry an educated woman. If you are insecure and too jealous, don’t marry a beautiful woman,” he advised.
Continuing, the father of three stated: “If you are looking for a beautiful woman who will give and raise beautiful children with you, take you to the next level, support you in times of needs, then marry a beautiful woman who is hardworking and educated, and has a mind of her own. If you don’t have the right tools and the right skills set to sustain a marriage, you can learn. But no carry person daughter punish am o.”

According to at Goal Cyprus, the Deportivo de La Coruña loanee visited the Police Station on Thursday evening as part of the investigation of the TAE regarding the procedure of issuing the 20-year-old’s health certificate.
Anorthosis say Uzoho is frightened and in a bad psychological condition and wants to leave Cyprus immediately despite receiving assurances from the club all was well.
Apollon complained that the Nigerian’s health card was not properly issued, leading to an official investigation by the Cypriot authorities, and they remain confident that they will win the case, with judgement expected on Monday.
The Federation has taken statements from those involved in the issuance of the disputed health certificate and Anorthosis have sought clarification whether Uzoho is eligible for tomorrow’s away game at Nea Salamis.
The Nigeria international was forced to cut short his loan spell with Elche last month after new signing édgar Badía was installed as first-choice goalkeeper.

Prof. Wole Soyinka, has gone contrary to expectations and permutations after he endorsed Prof. Kingsley Moghalu, candidate of the Young Progressive Party (YPP), for President.
The Nobel Laureate and his civil society group, Citizens Forum, made the announcement in a statement he personally signed, where he outlined circumstances leading up to the decision which he described as rigorous.
The statement read ;
“The nation has been brought to her knees. Internally, the blaring media testimony needs no augmentation. Beyond her borders, Nigeria is the tale of citizens designated pariahs of the global community for whom special dossiers are opened, and units of security agencies are specifically assigned. Online transactions are programmed to reject basic usage once the word ‘Nigeria’ is inserted in the Data profile. There are few nation left, within or outside the continental borders where – no matter the codeword – a Nigerian ‘room’ has not been designated.
“Her humanity litters the sand trails of the Sahara, it lines the Mediterranean sea-bed with the bones of a desperate generation, seeking ‘green pastures’. Lines from my poems have been appropriated and embossed as epitaphs on the tombstones of Nigerians washed up the isle of Catania and accorded dignified burials by total strangers, certainly paid more respect than Nigerians themselves consider due to their own humanity. Other would-be migrants have been slaughtered by religious fundamentalists on the shores of Tripoli, while waiting for their precarious crossing on suicidal boats. Yet others end up as commodities in the slave markets of Libya and Mauritania, hundreds recently rescued and airlifted – credit where credit is due! – repatriated by government.
“It was not always thus. Numerous Nigerians believe that it need not remain so. There is always a choice to be made outside any presumptuous orders – in reality associations guaranteed to perpetuate social disorders and the politics of inequality. This is not the thinking of any one individual but of a large section of this populace. If it were not, there would not have been a record number of nearly a hundred political groups aspiring to take over the reins of governance.”
Soyinka said his civil society group did not need any instruction to estimate that several of the aspiring groups were mere plants, raised to sow confusion.
He said:
‘It redounds to the credit of a few individuals, including some of the candidates themselves, who embarked on efforts to winnow down their own ranks, then seek a consensus candidate as standard bearer for the battle against the two political behemoths.
“They did not succeed, but that is no cause for despair. They still deserve the gratitude of Nigerians for their uniquely principled efforts. The Citizen Forum – last heard of during the time of the dictator, Sani Abacha – was pulled out of retirement to join in their effort to arrive at peer consensus. The Forum worked peripherally with them. It made no attempt – I stress this – no attempt whatsoever to impose its own preferences, but utilised material from the deliberations of at least four such selection groups. It remained on the fringe, except on invitation.
“Our mission today is simply to present the result of that effort by Citizen Forum which, I am especially gratified to reveal, coincides with my own personal preference. The CF conclusion is obviously not binding on other groups or individuals involved in the exercise. May I take this opportunity to advise the public that neither Citizen Forum nor myself, belongs to any Third Force or other Consensus seeking councils by any other name. Please ignore any such attributions.”
I physically interacted with some of the acknowledged top contenders, in some cases several times. We participated in handshake across Nigeria, where some candidates presented their briefs.
“Among others, I delivered a keynote address. We watched television interviews. We have exchanged notes with highly respected international Civil Servants. The drive towards Consensus among these dedicated groups sometimes took the form of test questionnaires to the aspirants, including items such as: ‘Who among the contestants would you choose, if you did not emerge as the ultimate preference?’
“There was nothing complicated about assessment parameters: mental preparedness, analytical aptitude, response to the nation’s security challenges, economic grounding, grasp of socio-political actualities, including a remedial concern with the Nigerian image in foreign perception etc. etc. not forgetting a convincing commitment to governance and resource decentralization – commonly referred to as Restructuring. The Forum rejected retrograde propositions of a political merry-go-round, which urge the electorate to choose this or that candidate in order to ensure “our turn” at the next power incumbency. Overall, the exercise was exacting but also – therapeutic. It proved yet again that there is over-abundant leadership quality locked up in the nation, and that it is a collective shortcoming that the political space has not been sufficiently opened up to let soar such potential. Well, to cite the Chinese proverb: a journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step.
“Let me reiterate: there is over-abundant, but stifled leadership material, and there can be no excuse, now that that potential of high quality is being manifested, for constricting the political space in a population that is nudging two hundred million. And that statement is of course specially addressed to those who took part in this exercise, those who deliberately opted out of it, some of whom were assessed anyway. Such potential compelled us to exercise utmost rigour in what proved to be a most daunting exercise. The final determination however is – the flag-bearer of the Young Progressive Party – Kingsley Moghalu.
Juliet Ibrahim is of the opinion that ‘beautiful ladies’ are single because people, most especially the men, do not believe that they are really single.
It is not rare to find a lady who is regarded as beautiful still remaining very much single. Many of them do not quite understand why, despite their pretty looks, they still cannot find a suitable partner.
Ibrahim via her Instagram simply wrote; “Beautiful girls are mostly single because no one ever believes they’re actually single…”
This is coming after the delectable actress clapped back at a non-fan who body shamed her.
The Drama started after the Ghanaian actress shared her recent photo and while many people had kind things to say, this troll hopped on her page to mock her legs.
And Ibrahim read him for filth.
“Do you mean the brain surgery you require?” she asked him, adding, “Dimwit. No worries. I will do mine immediately after your brain transplant.”
Although the troll went further to rant, the point has been made: only a dimwit mocks a woman’s body on social media.

An 11-year-old boy in Bolgatanga in the Upper East Region, Maxwell Ayinbisa is still nursing his wounds over one year after a man poured petrol on him and set him ablaze for allegedly peeping at a woman in a bathroom.
On 24 November 2017, Ayinbisa and two of his friends were sent by another to go and buy petrol from a filling station.
According to Ayinbisa, on their way from the errand, a man accused him and his friends of peeping at a woman in a bathroom. He said his friends escaped leaving him behind. He noted that the suspect agreed to foot all medical expenses before he was granted bail.

Head of states, President Muhammadu Buhari has stated that it is only God that will punish the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for looting the country during their 16-years in office.
The President made this known when he met with his local and international support groups at the state house in Abuja today February 8th.
“With the large scale abuse of trust, only God can give them punishment. But those we can touch, we will get them prosecuted. Properties confiscated should be sold and the money put into treasury,” he said while addressing the leaders of the support groups.
“I have said this for the umpteenth time and I have challenged them to prove me wrong. In those 16 years of PDP rule, Nigeria was getting 2.1 million times 100 (2.1 million barrels by $100 per barrel) everyday, but when we came on board, the price fell to between $37-38 and hung around $40-$50. I went to the Central Bank of Nigeria and asked him for money and he said there was no money” he said.

WHAT A LIFE, WHERE THE GOOD TREES DOES NOT STAY LONG IN THE FOREST?
It is HARD to accept the death of a loved one; especially when you didn’t have the chance to say goodbye; especially when the deceased was taken so suddenly and so shockingly at the prime of life and most especially when it seems like an irreplaceable part of your world is gone. The grief and the pain can be unbearable; you cry a river and your sorrow knows no end. You never really know what it’s like until you are there yourself, but you look to God because he’s the only one who can comfort you.
Death and indeed a death so sudden and painful like the death of my dear friend yester-night makes me realize the brevity of life. We often take life for granted; too much so. Her death has made me sit down and reflect. . It’s made me put things in perspective. I want to live life and love it, I don’t want to spend my life being unhappy or dissatisfied, I want to put a smile on my face because that’s what can make a dark day seem bright and I want to play the game of life to the very end.
Ikimot is gone ; None of us can bring her back, no matter how we cry, she is gone.
I met her during my senior secondary school days and we became friends…. I miss disturbing you, you proved to be a good buddy all through… After school we moved on with our various life but you still stood as a friend Ikimot but Today I got the news that you left this sinful world…
I got the news online about the arrival of the new soul (04/02/2019) but I wanted to wish you by calling or a surprise visit, the second day(05/02/2019) was your birthday, I was busy that I could not wish you. I planned to get your number from a friend today to wish you but I got the shocking news i never expected that you have left the world yesterday(06/02/2019)… How can that happen ?
Where is my Portable friend, that friend that whats she loves doing most is to smile. She is calm, loving, patient and friendly.. We all find it hard to believe but the truth is that Quadri Ikimot Damilola has gone to rest. All we can do is to pray for her….
So for those of you who can identify with me in grief, make it your aim to try and look past it and move on but the memory will exist forever
Death is a graduation. When we’re taught all the things we came to teach, learned all the things we came to learn, then we’re allowed to graduate. What a painful exit
Oremi please rest in peace but make sure you protect your kid that you left for us.(AMEN)

Cash strapped university students are being paid as much as £3,500 to be infected with dangerous tropical diseases including typhoid, malaria and pneumonia.
The UK students are among a growing number of healthy volunteers being paid to be infected with exotic bacteria and viruses for scientific research at institutions including Oxford University and Imperial College London.
The UK is a world leader in the study of infectious diseases and the experiments – known as “challenge trials” where human guinea pigs, mainly students, are “challenged” with an infectious disease – have become a popular way to progress the development of new vaccines at a fraction of the cost of field studies.
Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Winifred Oyo-Ita, has stated that Higher National Diploma graduates cannot rise above level 14 except such a person acquires an additional degree for his or her conversion to officer cadre that terminates at Grade Level 17.
Oyo-Itra made the clarification while briefing newsmen on some of the achievements of her office under the Change Agenda 2015-2018.
“This issue of HND/B.Sc dichotomy came up after the last National Council on Establishment and I think a lot of people are still confused about the policy. What was approved by the Council was that henceforth the HND holder can enter at the same level with B. Sc, which is level 08.
“But the issue of where they stop still remains that they will terminate at Grade level 14 unless they are able to acquire additional relevant degree that can now convert them to officer cadre,” she said.
A new video which shows the moment relatives of a rape victim confronted the rapists at a hotel owned by the father of one of the rapists.
25-year-old Don-Chima George (whose father owns the hotel where the rape allegedly took place) and Razaq Oke aka Ricco, 28, are accused of drugging a 23-year-old woman at a club and carrying her slightly unconscious to De Lankaster Hotel in Lekki Phase one where they both had sex with her without her consent and filmed the act.
When the woman gained consciousness, she allegedly asked them what they had done to her but they denied touching her. She then called her brother and he came to the hotel with policemen.
The rape suspects were searched and in their phones, a video of them having sex with the unconscious woman was allegedly found.
