Controversial OAP Daddy Freeze has reacted to Falz’s mother expressed her concern about the fact his son doesn’t go to church.

The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Uche Secondus, has warned the All Progressives Congress (APC) and “the cabal” not to kill President Buhari with work as he is tired and needs to go home to rest.
Secondus said this while inaugurating the 27 presidential campaign committees of the PDP,
“For selfish reasons, these power grabbers are putting undue pressure on the president even as it’s evident that he can no longer cope. There is no way this president can cope, given what we are witnessing and added to the incompetence in leadership Nigerians have been seeing in the last three years.
“Twenty-nine days to the presidential election, the elements in the APC and the cabal in the presidency are planning to cause chaos in the country with all manner of things, including arresting and framing of members of the opposition with strange charges.
“First, it was Senator Dino Melaye, Deji Adeyanju and lately, the Chief Justice of Nigeria. Nigeria is distress now and is sliding into a state of chaos. This is not a usual time for the country. We need serious prayer.
“The cabal is over-working the president even when it is apparent that the man has no capacity to go on. They are not allowing him to rest. Do they want to kill him?
“Look at the incident that happened in Lokoja, Kogi State, on Wednesday and that of Warri, Delta State, on Thursday at the party’s rallies. At the Warri rally, the president was given the flag of the party to hand it over to the Delta State gubernatorial candidate of the party. Singer-turned-pastor Soul E Baba has opened up that he was in love with Queen Ure when the duo dated, but he is still full of surprises some people peddled rumours that they married.
In an encounter with Sunday Scoop, however, Soul E said Nigerians should understand that he was never legally married to Ure.
Meanwhile, Ure’s marriage to Pastor Silas Briyork-Newman has also hit the rocks. She got married on November 26, 2017, in Umuahia, Abia State.

“We were making preparations for marriage, but it didn’t work out. She was just my girlfriend at a time; so, I don’t understand why people keep saying that I have been married two times. If anyone thinks we were married, the person needs to tell me the church or court that conducted the marriage.

He, however, admitted that they were crazily in love at a time.

“In every relationship, there are always ups and downs. Ure is not a bad woman; I respect her and I don’t see her as an enemy. But for some reason, things didn’t work out between us and we went our separate ways.
I am happily married now, but I have decided to keep it private after my last experience. I dated Queen Ure and we even lived together. Yes, we were crazily in love and wore rings, but we were never married.”
He disclosed that he had always known that he would become a pastor but fame didn’t allow him yield to God’s calling.
Soul E added:
“When you are doing music, the money and fame take your attention. I never wanted to become a pastor. Even when I was facing challenges as a musician, I didn’t want to leave music. I knew that my ministry was not in Nigeria because of the circumstances surrounding my music career.
I also received prophecies that the work of God would take me out of Nigeria, but I didn’t know the country until God made a way for me. I am in Lesotho, not South Africa. I left Nigeria in January 2017.”
Soul E explained that he had not given up on his music career.
He said,
“It got to a point where I felt the Nigerian media was against me. I didn’t know who fed the media things about my relationship and my record company. I was discouraged to do music and I didn’t trust anyone again.
But music is still in me. As I speak to you, I have over 100 songs that I have recorded and they are all capable of being hit songs. I only refused to release songs because I needed all the drama to die down. I was wrongly dented because I refused to talk; so, I decided to concentrate on my spiritual life. Ninety per cent of the things said about me were lies. I am just a victim of circumstances.”

Popular indigenous Nigerian rapper, Lord of Ajasa, was hospitalised in the past week – this was made known to his fans after it was revealed online that he needed money to settle his bills.
The rapper was diagnosed of peptic ulcer and needed urgent surgery before the state of his condition was announced to the public.
However, in a new chat with Sunday Scoop, Ajasa stated that people, both within and outside the entertainment industry, had reached out to him.
He said,
“Right now, I am at a private hospital in Ikeja (Lagos). I wasn’t getting proper care at the General Hospital Ikorodu, Lagos, and since people have begun to support me, I can now afford to get treated at a better hospital.
“I cannot mention the names of all the people who have assisted me because they are very many. However, some that I can mention are Gbenga Adeyinka, Alariwo, Jah Bless, Ice K (of Artquake), 9ice, Olamide, among others.
Though some people are saying the support is not enough but it is whatever they have that they would give me. All the funds I’ve got have not been able to take care of all my bills. There are so many fans that have assisted as well; people that I don’t even know. I really appreciate the outpouring of love.”
Speaking on his present condition, the Le Fenu So rapper said,
“I was supposed to undergo a surgery but the doctor said I’m improving; so, I may no longer need it. According to them, I have been responding well to treatment and I am getting much better.”
Explaining how his journey to the hospital started, Ajasa said,
“I started feeling the pain on January 1 and I thought it was the usual occurrence because I had been experiencing such pain for some time. Usually, the pain would just come and go. But this time, it lasted longer.
Suddenly, I could not even stand or walk. Then, on the first Sunday of January, I was rushed to the hospital; I nearly collapsed. I didn’t even know whether I was dead or alive. I vomited a lot and was in so much pain. However, I thank God that I am better now. For the two weeks that I was at the General Hospital, I couldn’t eat or drink. I was fed intravenously.”
On the nature of his ailment and what caused it, Ajasa said,
“I was diagnosed with peptic ulcer and I must confess that it was partly due to my carelessness. I had been having the symptoms for a while but I thought it was just normal pain.
My wife usually takes care of me and prepares food for me at all times. But during the December period, I attended a lot of shows; so, I wasn’t at home. I guess that was what triggered the attack.”
Nigerian rapper, Keshinro Ololade better known by his stage name, Lil Kesh, has finally reacted to the backlash that whipped his song, Logo Benz, featuring Olamide.
In a recent chat with Sunday Scoop, Kesh said though he has no regrets, if he could go back, he would have made the message clearer for the understanding of his fans.
He said,
“Logo Benz was inspired by things we saw on social media and in our environment. One of the trending news now is how people are stealing pants for money rituals. One of those things they buy with the money is Benz cars.
We thought we should do a song about it and create awareness; this is what we have been doing as musicians. But I guess people got the wrong impression.
When it came out, it was heavily criticised and people felt we were promoting money rituals. I understood why it happened because some parts of the lyrics were not too clear. If we had looked for a better way to put the story out there, people would have understood it better.”
But the singer said he didn’t regret releasing the song and he would still release something similar if he was given a second chance. He added,
“We have been able to create so much awareness on the issue and I am sure we have been able to save lives. Even if it was just one person we saved by releasing the song, I am happy. I don’t live with regrets. If I could go back in time, I would still release the song. But this time, we would do it in a way that it would not be misunderstood.”

Festus Keyamo, the spokesperson of the Buhari Campaign Organization, has explained why President Buhari is absent at the ongoing 2019 #Presidentialdebate in Abuja.
According to Keyamo, President Buhari’s hectic campaign schedule is amongst the many reasons why he couldn’t make the debate.
Keyamo in his statement took a swipe at the PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar who came for the debate but pulled out after he noticed President Buhari’s absence. He said Atiku’s action shows that he is only out to attack the person of President Buhari.

The President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, who is also the APC Presidential Candidate in the forthcoming Presidential Election, President Muhammadu Buhari, could not attend the Presidential Debate organised by the Nigeria Election Debate Group and the Broadcasting Organisations of Nigeria which held today, Saturday, January 19, 2019 for the following reasons:
Firstly, out of several opportunities afforded our candidate to interact with the Nigerian people directly by different organisations, our presidential candidate has taken full advantage of another town-hall meeting organized by another group which held on Wednesday, January 16, 2019. He was also joined at that town-hall meeting by our Vice-Presidential candidate who is also the Vice-President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, SAN. Nigerians from all walks of life who were physically present and through on-line platforms asked uncensored questions which were adequately answered. It was also transmitted live by various broadcast networks in Nigeria.
In addition, the busy and hectic official and campaign schedules of Mr. President clashed with this programme. Today, Mr. President commissioned the Baro Inland Water Port in Niger State and campaigned in Niger and Plateau States where his time was over-stretched by the tumultuous and mammoth crowds in both States, (as seen by Nigerians on live television) and only returned to Abuja late this evening.
Whilst we thank the organisers for the invitation, we want to assure Nigerians that we shall continue to hold these debate groups and Nigerians in high esteem which our candidate has demonstrated during past election debates when he honoured similar invitations. Nigerians will also recall that a few weeks ago, our Vice-Presidential candidate, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, also attended the debate organized by the same organisations.
Lastly, we note the statement of the candidate of the PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar who actually came for the event and left the venue when he did not see Mr. President, who is our candidate. According to him, he would not want to “attack” Mr. President in his absence.
It should now be obvious to Nigerians that for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and the PDP, this election is all about attacking the person and programmes of Mr. President and not about proffering their own solutions to the problems they created during their sixteen years of misrule, maladministration and looting of the nation’s resources. When they cannot see President Buhari to attack, the content of their campaign becomes hollow, empty and “full of sound and fury, signifying nothing”. Now that Atiku Abubakar had a unique opportunity to explain to Nigerians his own vision and mission without a President Buhari in the picture, he ran away. Afterall, he has his own eight years of crass and grand corruption as Vice President to defend before the Nigerian people.
On February 16, 2019 we urge Nigerians to demonstrate to Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and the PDP, through their votes, how empty indeed their campaign has always been and to vote massively for President Muhammadu Buhari and Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, SAN who have started the rebuilding process of our great nation.
Mother of Nigerian billionaire businessman, Jimoh Ibrahim, Theresa Jimoh, has been reported dead after she was caught up in a fire incident at her home in Victoria Garden City, Lagos state today January 19th.
According to reports, the 76-yar-old woman was asleep when the fire started at about 02:00am. She was burnt to death before the fire could be put out by the Lagos state Fire service.
The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. Her body has been deposited in a morgue.

PDP Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar has explained why he backed out from the 2019 Presidential Debate at the last minute.
Taking to his Verified Twitter page, he wrote;
We came here for a Presidential debate, not a candidacy debate, and I, Atiku Abubakar cannot challenge or question an administration where the man at the helm of the affairs of the nation is not present to defend himself or his policies. #2019Debate
Afterall, you cannot shave a man’s head in his absence. I do not believe in attacking a man who is NOT here to defend himself.
As a leader and former vice president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, let me first apologise to all Nigerians, my fellow candidates and the moderator for the APC Presidential Candidate’s absence in this debate. His non-appearance is a slight on ALL of us and our democracy.
With respect to my fellow candidates, Fela Durotoye, Oby Ezekwesili, Kingsley Moghalu & to moderator Mark Sugar & with apologies to Nigerians here & at home expecting an interesting debate, I regret I will not be able to go on with this debate due to President Buhari’s absence.

The boys were reportedly caught red-handed by some residents who sighted them after stealing an underwear and was allegedly looking for more to pick.

The EFCC has arrested and arraigned 5 men who hacked into a bank and increased a customer’s balance from N781k to N466m.
The suspects identified as; Bashir Abdullahi Mohammed, Oche Ogenyi, Adefila Taofile Kayode, Rabiu Aliko Lawal and Mmadu Mathew, were arraigned before justice Mohammed Tukur of a Kaduna State High Court, on a two-count charge bordering on conspiracy and stealing to the tune of N466m.
The suspects who pleaded “not guilty” to the charges and were ordered to be remanded in EFCC custody pending the determination of the bail applications, were arrested following a petition by Polaris Bank, alleging that they hacked into the bank’s application, and fraudulently increased the N781,000 in one of the customer’s bank account to N466 million.
Elder brother of Governor Nasir El-Rufai, is dead, Air Vice Marshall Aliyu Ahmed El-Rufai (rtd) passed on in the early hours of today.
The late AVM died at the age of 71, he was born on November 10, 1948 in Zaria, Kaduna State.
A family source who confirmed the death to our correspondent said the late AVM died in the early hours of Saturday at a hospital in Abuja after a protracted illness.
The death was announced via a statement by spokesperson to the Kaduna governor, Samuel Aruwan.
The statement said Mr El Rufai was commissioned as an officer in 1972, and retired in 2002 at the rank of Air Vice Marshall after a meritorious military career.
“He held different positions and commanded various formations while in service and attended several courses in Nigeria and abroad.
“He is survived by his wife, Hajiya Safiya Rufai, six children, brothers and sisters. His surviving siblings include Malam Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai and Alhaji Bashir Ahmad El-Rufai,” the statement said.
It also said funeral prayers will take place at the Sultan Bello Mosque, Ungwan Sarki, Kaduna by 4pm today, Saturday.
A housewife with the name, Mrs. Nana Seluba, left her husband shocked after she revealed to him that his younger brother, Abdulahi Alika, had satisfied her sexually when he traveled and as such, she did not miss him.
According to a report by P.M.EXPRESS, her husband got his brother arrested for conduct likely to cause breach of public peace. The incident happened at Kilometre 5 Igando/ Ikotun Road in Ikotun area of Lagos where Nana lives with her husband.
It was gathered that Nana’s husband got married to her in their home state in northern part of Nigeria and brought her to Lagos.
However, the husband left her and traveled back to their village whereas his younger brother, Abdulahi, who also resides in Lagos, took up the obligation to satisfy her sexual needs until her husband returned.
The whole thing got exposed when their neighbours upon her husband’s return asked to know who among Abdulahi and his elder brother was married to Nana because Abdulahi moved in and started living with Nana when his brother traveled to their home state.
It was then that Nana’s husband remembered that she was calling him with Abdulahi’s phone when he was away and then asked her what happened. The wife then told him that he created a vacuum when he travelled and that his younger brother, Abdulahi, closed the gap and satisfied her before his return.
The husband became angry and reported the adulterous act to the police at Igando Division; Abdulahi was arrested and detained at the station for interrogation.
P.M.EXPRESS scooped that during interrogation Abdulahi denied but Nana was brought to the police station and she explained to the police that throughout the period her husband was not around that it was Abdulahi she relied on for her sexual needs because Abdulahi was her husband’s immediate brother.
The police found him culpable and charged him before Ejigbo Magistrates Court for sleeping with his brother’s wife.
Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has arrived Nigeria from the United States.
Atiku had visited the US for a town hall meeting and to also engage officials of that country in talks. The visit is also seen in some quarters as a step to absolve himself from allegations of corruption involving him in that country.
The return of the former vice president popularly known as Atiku was announced by his media aide, Paul Ibe.
“The Eagle @atiku has landed from his U.S trip.” Mr Ibe posted on his Twitter handle.
Already, the federal government has advised the PDP flag-bearer to warm up to answer to a fresh allegation of corruption against him. He is accused of benefiting from slush funds that pulled down Bank PHB, now known as Keystone Bank.
