Funsho Williams relied on Police protection but he was still murdered, in fact, the very night he went to make a formal complaint to the police at Zone 2 Police Headquarters at Onikan about a threat to his life, he did not live to see the next day.

American Comedian, Kevin Hart has decided to step down from hosting this year’s Oscar Awards after he irked the LGBT community with his tweets concerning ‘being Gay’.
The 39-year-old comedian and actor had announced on Tuesday that he would host the Academy Awards, the film industry’s highest honors.
However, after his tweet was deemed an insult to the Gay Community, the comedian was asked by the film academy to apologize or be replaced as the show host.
Kevin hart has now made the move to apologize and also step down from hosting the award ceremony.
“I have made the choice to step down from hosting this year’s Oscar’s … this is because I do not want to be a distraction on a night that should be celebrated by so many amazing talented artists,” Hart tweeted late on Thursday.
“I sincerely apologize to the LGBTQ community for my insensitive words from my past,” he tweeted.

THE General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye has advised Christians to stay connected to God to overcome life’s challenges and have dominion over all forces of darkness and sickness.
Adeboye gave the admonition while delivering his sermon tagged: ‘A branch of the Life’, on the second day of the ongoing annual Holy Ghost congress of the church holding at the Redemption Camp, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
Quoting copiously from the scriptures during the healing service, the man of God, explained that Jesus Christ is the Vine while every true believer is the branch and has God’s nature in him. Adeboye, however, urged participants to remain steadfast in the vine, stressing that God has assured them of doing greater works than He did while on earth.
In his words: “Jesus Christ is the vine while we are the branches. He is the combination of divinity and humanity. As the vine is, so also the branches. “If you are a true Christian, you are a combination of humanity and divinity. You are human but you are made to partake in God’s divine nature and He will supply the needed strength, power that you need to do His works.
Every branch of the vine can do what the vine can do”. Pastor Adeboye recalled how he went to toilet 23 times in a day after taking a meal during one of his missionary trips to an unnamed African country years ago, noting that it took God through the prayer of faith for him to be healed. According to him: “I did not know what I ate but I just saw myself going to toilet.
After the 23rd time, I realized that I needed to tackle the matter prayerfully. But who will pray for me? I then laid my hands on myself and prayed. That was how I was healed.” He made reference to the healing while encouraging the congregation to pray for themselves, stressing that every child of God is a branch of the vine with both the human and divine nature.
Adeboye narrated the story of how Jesus slept in a boat while there was a storm indicating the human nature in him while He was on earth. “But the same Jesus who slept, rose up to rebuke the wind, indicating his divine nature. Jesus was fully human and fully divine when he was on earth.” He said further that since believers are extensions of Jesus as his branches “we share divine nature and are capable of doing what God said we could do.
As long as we are linked to him and connected to him we have the capacity to do all that he said we could do. “I once told my children that nobody can kill me because I am already dead. I have been crucified with Christ nevertheless I live. Because Jesus is living in the believer, his blood flows in the believer. On the outside it may not appear to be so, but in actual fact the blood that is flowing in you is the blood of Jesus.
Revelation 12:10-11, indicates that the blood has enough power to overcome the devil. If only you can believe, the blood that is flowing in you now can overcome any germ, virus or deadly thing,” he said. Adeboye noted that there are several things that science cannot explain because those things are not happening in the realm of humanity, they are happening in the divinity. Recalling how a doctor who was at the verge of death was healed by taking a Holy Communion, he said, “Whatever is called sickness or disease will be consumed by the Blood of Jesus.
Because Christ is in you and the Blood is flowing in your vein, sickness is not permitted in you.” The RCCG General Overseer, who said he just returned from a missionary trip to some West African countries, told the participants that they have the capacity to do what He could do because the same spirit that resides in Him also resides in them as long as they belong to Jesus. According to him, “you can from here go home and be healing the sick. The same capacity that I have you have as long as you yield yourselves to God,” stressing “the Bible did not say the signs will only follow the General Overseer but those who believe.
“Some also think they don’t have enough faith to do certain things. I used to believe that everything in the Bible is true but I believe I could not do those things because I did not have enough faith. Then I would fast and ask God to increase my faith. But the Lord sat me down one day and asked me some questions.
”He asked me, ’son, do you believe there is God?’ I said yes. ’Have you seen him before?‘ I kept mute. ’How then do you know there is God? Do you believe that Jesus is the son of God?‘ I said I believe and he asked were you there when he was born? I kept quiet and he kept on asking some other questions and said why are you then saying you don’t have faith?
“It takes strong faith to believe that there is God, that Jesus is the son of God and that He is coming again. If you believe those things, you have the faith you need to make the impossible happen,” Adeboye stated.
Mr. Wilfred Nwovueze, has insisted that Prince Owabie aka J-BOY, the suspected killer of his pregnant daughter, Betty must marry her corpse.
Nwovueze told newsmen on Thursday that the marriage is in line with a compulsory traditional rites of Ndele people in Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State where the deceased hailed from.
He, therefore, pleaded with security agencies to ensure that justice is done in the killing of his daughter.
“I don’t want any problem. That girl is my daughter and what I want the Police to do is to allow this J-Boy of a man or his family members to marry my daughter before they bury her.
The suspect, Owabie led the personnel to his room where he buried his girlfriend in a shallow grave.
Spokesman of the Command who was also at the scene said the body of the girl will be deposited in the morgue after which an autopsy will be conducted.
The middle-aged suspect identified as Prince Owabie of Rumueperikom community in Obio-Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State is believed to have killed the girlfriend identified as Better Nwabueze and buried her inside his one bedroom apartment within Wimpy Junction by Ikweere Road last Sunday.
Owabie, popularly called J-BOY two days after confessed his deed to some of his friends who raised alarm to the police that led to his arrest.
A Nigerian man has been left in a state of dilemma and is soliciting advice from the public after his girlfriend and his good friend clashed over food in his apartment.
According to his narrative, his girlfriend has now involved her father who is a Divisional Police Officer in the matter and wants his friend to be arrested over the incident.
He shared his story as thus,
My girlfriend visited few days ago and she planned on staying for the rest of the week. Unfortunately last night a very good friend(male) of mine visited and spent the night with us. This morning I woke up very early and left for work. I dropped money for food so she and my guy who said he will be leaving later in the day can eat.
And few mins ago my girlfriend called me crying, telling me that my friend is beating her up. I have to suspend whatever I’m doing and rushed home. On getting home the whole place was scattered both kitchen, Sitting room and bedroom. When I asked what the problem was my girlfriend told me in an emotional voice that she just finished cooking and went to the bathroom only to come out to see that my guy has already dished out food and was eating.
When she tried to question him on why he couldn’t wait for her to come out and give him food . He rebuked her and they started exchanging words which later led to a fight or should I say beating.
They both agreed that that was exactly what happened and my girlfriends face and body is full of bruises now
To make matters worse my girlfriend has already contacted her father who is a DPO and he called and directed that I should get the guy arrested before he gets here tomorrow morning.

Nollywood Actress, Yetunde Akilapa, is in the news again for the wrong reason as she has been arrested Barely five months after being docked for serial stealing,
Yetunde was caught, today, at Ajao estate, off Oluwalogbon, Ketu, Lagos State, while trying to gain access into a house, with her set of master keys.
She was subsequently dragged to a police station in the area, to prevent jungle justice.
Police Prosecutor Benson Emuerhi had told the court that the accused committed the offences on June 27 at Mutairu Street, Shangisha, Ketu, at 2.10 p.m.
According to him, the accused was apprehended while trying to enter the apartment of the complainant, Adeboye Lamidi.
The prosecutor also alleged that the accused, on Nov. 16, 2015 at 3.00 p.m. broke into the residence of one Oyinlola Tuga by unlocking the door with a master key.
Tuga, who lives at Ayodele Okeowo St., Gbagada Soluyi in Lagos, reported that the accused stole jewellery, bags and other valuables worth N7 million.
According to a report by Kemi, the incident happened in Zambia and she was opportune to have the man’s contact and eventually spoke with him.

Yesterday, news made the rounds about one Prince Owabie from Rumueperikom community in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of the State who killed and buried his pregnant girlfriend, Better Ozige Nwabueze, inside his one-room apartment around Wimpy Junction, by Ikwerre Road in Port Harcourt on Sunday December 2nd.
His humane act was discovered on Tuesday December 4th and he was immediately arrested.
It was gathered that the suspect popularly called J-Boy, had confessed to some of his friends about his deed and they alerted the police who moved in and arrested the suspect.

National Chairman of APC, Adams Oshiomole, has said that God will indeed punish former president Olusegun Obasanjo, for supporting Atiku Abubakar’s presidential ambition.
Obasanjo who declared his support for Atiku after he forgave him in October this year, had in the time past, said that God will never forgive him if he supports Atiku for any political office.

A 22-year-old ma, Huzaifa Hussaini Usman has been charged by the police in Abuja for allegedly killing his own father.
The deceased, Alhaji Hussaini Usman, a businessman and contractor, was allegedly strangled to death in his residence at Abdulkareem Adisa Estate, Apo, Abuja on October 28. Police investigators have reportedly concluded after over a month of investigation that the deceased’s last son, Huzaifa Hussaini Usman, was the main suspect in the murder.
According to initial reports circulated on October 28, armed robbers invaded the house of the deceased and strangled him.
According to a report by Daily Trust, a neighbour of the deceased was said to have explained that after the morning prayers, the people present at the mosque reportedly heard some noises coming from the deceased’s house and put a call across to him but that he didn’t answer.
They were said to have finally gotten access to the house after calling the wife of the deceased.
“When they entered, they saw the dead body of Alhaji in the sitting room. Those that entered said they were suspicious because they knocked on the door severally and it took a long while before it was eventually opened.
Huzaifa was said to have told people that after he discovered his father had been killed and the assailants had left, he dragged the corpse to the sitting room from the compound and he went to call his mother before they went to the mosque to call for assistance.
The family source said this conflicting narrative led to further questions. “Huzaifa said they went to call people from the mosque but the people from the mosque said they actually went on their own to make enquiries in the house. These are a group of people, so we believe they cannot be lying.”
He added that “on Huzaifa’s body, there were scratches that looked like finger scratches. So we were suspicious and asked how he came about the scratches since he earlier said the assailants asked him to face the wall.”
The source further revealed that suspicion grew when they discovered that Huzaifa did not accompany the corpse to the National Mosque despite being the only man in the house since his elder brother, Aliyu Hussain, was in Kano the night of the incident.
It was gathered that the request of the police to conduct an autopsy on the corpse was rebuffed by his family members who insisted he should be buried immediately according to Islamic rites.
About two weeks after the incident, Huzaifa was invited by the police and has been in detention since then.
A source familiar with the police investigation said Huzaifa admitted that he gave money to someone to kill one Ismail but not his father.
However, spokesman of the FCT Police Command, DSP Anjuguri Manzah, while confirming the arrest, added that investigation had been concluded and a charge has been filed against the son as the principal suspect before the High Court of the FCT.
A young lady who resides in Lagos has revealed how she almost committed suicide in Lekki, yesterday, December 5th. She took to her Facebook page to narrate how God saved her from ending her life.
According to Amarchi, she has been battling depression for six months and had no longing to continue living.
On several occasions, she had attempted to take her life by way of overdosing on drugs or cutting herself but her mother always came through to rescue her.

5-12-19 was the day I gave up on life.
I gave up on my mom, my brother, and my friends. I was tired of Life, Family, Everything. I have tried overdosing myself with series of drugs twice, but God will always send my mom to my rescue. Veteran Nigerian actor, Baba Sala who passed away on the 8th of October, 2018, has been finally laid to rest today, 6th of December 2018.
It has been reported that the a funeral ceremony has been held for the late Moses Olaiya Adejumo, the Nigerian actor popularly known as Baba Sala, who died recently.
The body of Baba Sala who was fondly referred to as the ‘king of comedy’ was brought to Oyo State for a lying-in-state ceremony today at the Cultural Center in Ibadan.
The event was attended by his colleagues, family and friends including Pa Lere Paimo, Dele Odule, Peju Ogunmola, Tubosun Odunsi, Aderupoko and others while the Oyo State Governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi was represented by the state’s Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, Toye Arulogun.
