The convener of the Free The Sheeple movement, Daddy Freeze has revealed in an interview with LiTV host, Hero Daniels, that while he was preaching against paying tithes on social media, he was paying it in reality.
Daddy Freeze admitted he was not practicing what he preached until about a month ago.
The controversial OAP was asked in the interview when he became absolutely certain about not paying tithes and he responded saying; “about a month before I came on Linda Ikeji. Let me be honest, I was still paying tithe when I started my ministry on social media.”
He continued to say;
I was preaching against it but i was afraid that If i stop paying it, I was going to die or something was going to happen.
There were times when I doubted myself and doubted the scripture because these pastors have become god-figures, half of the things Nigerian pastors preach about are wrong but because they are so revered, nobody questions them so at some point, I felt that these people can not be wrong and I’m right even though I had the scripture and I had some revelations too.
The Academic Staff Union of Universities has told its members to prepare for a long strike over the Federal government’s unfulfilled promises.
According to Premium Times, the president of the Academic Staff Union of Universities, Professor Biodun Ogunyemi has charged striking lecturers in public universities to brace up for a long strike.
He enjoined ASUU members “to be on the watch and prepare for a long drawn out struggle to salvage the University System”.
ASUU had embarked on a nationwide strike over unfulfilled past agreements by government and underfunding of education.
Ogunyemi stated this in Strike Bulletin No 5 sent to all members of the union, a copy of which was obtained by Premium Times’ correspondent in Ibadan.
Ogunyemi charged members to remain steadfast “and resolute in the face of intimidation or antics employed by the government through Vice-Chancellors and Governing councils to undermine the ongoing struggle”
According to the ASUU President, “Government is yet to change its ‘keep them talking’ style and stance as all the meetings held so far with the Minister of Education are yet to resolve any of the demands of ASUU.”
Also speaking after their Zonal Meeting held at Ladoke Akintola University, ASUU chairman, University of Ibadan, Dr Deji Omole said Ibadan zone of ASUU has been fully mobilized with her members to ensure the reason for the strike gets actualised.
Omole noted that it is regrettable that the federal government who has not put anything on the table for revitalising the comatose education sector is busy mobilizing funds for re-election in 2019.
He, however, appealed to parents not to mortgage the future of their children by fighting for proper and adequate funding of public education.

Scientists have revealed that a woman’s fingers can tell if she’s a cheat or if she’s likely to become one.
A new study has shown that women with long index fingers on their left hands are more likely to have affairs. The findings have surprised scientists as having a longer index finger is associated with having more typical female characteristics.
The longer index finger and shorter ring finger have been linked to being exposed to higher levels of female sex hormones in the womb.
It was assumed that women who were “more feminised” would be more likely to be satisfied with their romantic relationships, and to be less impulsive, Daily Mail reports. But the findings of the recent study proved this to be wrong.
Being more exposed to the sex hormone oestrogen in the womb leads to women’s index fingers growing longer than their ring finger.
By contrast, being exposed to more of the male sex hormone testosterone in the womb has a more “masculinising” effect and results in a longer ring finger and a shorter index finger.
Men with longer ring fingers than index fingers have been found to be better sportsmen.
Eiluned Pearce of Oxford University carried out the research which has been published in a Royal Society Journal.
She took measurements of the finger lengths of 274 female volunteers and also sampled their DNA. They also completed psychological tests on their relationship quality.
Scientists reveal how you can tell if your girlfriend is a cheat simply by checking her fingers
She found that “women with higher (more feminine) left hand digit ratios are more impulsive and rate their romantic relationships less favourably.” She added that the finding is “intriguing, because the opposite might be expected”.
In the research paper, she speculates that women with the higher index finger to ring finger ration are likely to be “more feminized” and more highly sought after by males. Because they know they have a lot of options, “this might be associated with dissatisfaction with current partners” and this might lead to flings – or as the scientists call it “opportunistic mating” and “impulsive” mating with men who are not their husband or partner.
The researchers also looked at the ratio of index finger to ring finger lengths in males, but did not find any connection with relationship quality.
IK Ogbonna’s estranged Wife, Sonia Ogbonna has taken to her insta stories to share some insightful words.
Sonia is of the opinion that parents are not always right in most cases hence the need to unlearn what one may have learnt from childhood.
Her post reads ;
I still believe we gotta unlearn everything we were taught to find out your true strenghts, super powers and who you truly are.
You are not your parents, not everything they teach is right, they just humans too. You can’t teach what you don’t know, the truth is, they want the best for you but they don’t always know the best.
Stop seeing and judging the world through their eyes and beliefs. Stop manifesting their own fears and limitations on you. Thats why i said you gotta “unlearn|, so nothing would hold you back

Doctors in Russia are battling to save the lives of 14-year-old models Masha and Dasha Ledeneva who fell critically ill after starving themselves because their modelling school told them to lose weight. The pair were rushed into intensive care looking like ‘living corpses’.
Their case was brought to attention by Maria Kokhno a 29-year old model and campaigner for eating disorders who had to battle anorexia herself. Kokhno said the girls who were already slim were told to reduce enough weight ‘so their cheekbones were visible’ in order to be given more shoots.
She said:
“Nobody was keen to help the girls, their mother went here and there, hospitals were rejecting them,” said Kokhno.
“Masha can stand up but Dasha is only lying and cannot even lift her head,” said Kokhno.
“The mother contacted TV presenter Elena Malysheva and the Nutrition Institute in Moscow but nobody wanted to deal with ‘living corpses’.
Fighting back tears, their mother Natalia Ledeneva said: “They were told Dasha’s body shape is quite okay but Masha should get rid of couple of kilos…
“The girls heard it in their own way.
“These children have always been perfect in everything, so they decided to be perfect here too.
“It all happened very quickly.
“Whatever I did, however I tried to persuade them, it led to nothing.”

According to Aisha, her husband’s administration had “achieved a lot but could have achieved more or even achieved all it had in one year but for two people in government who will never allow things to move fast.”
Aisha said that she was “disappointed in men who rather than fight these two men will go to them in the night begging for favour.”
Mrs. Buhari called on Nigerian women to rise and fight, adding, “I have realized that Senator Babafemi Ojodu, Special Adviser, political, to the President, and Dr. Hajo Sani, and wife of the Vice-President, Mrs Osinbajo, are not comfortable with my saying this and want me to confine myself to my prepared speech but we must say the truth.”
The President’s wife insisted that the powerful duo were retrogressive elements preventing the government from moving forward.
