Ghanaian rapper Shatta Wale has proposed to his long time girlfriend and baby mama, Shatta Michy while performing on stage at his The Reign Concert.
The relationship between Shatta Wale and Michy seems to have traveled the next level, as last night 13th October at the Reign Concert, he surprised her with a marriage proposal.
The duo have been in the media several times over relationship problems, but the roller coaster seems to be on the high this time.
In front of the over 10,000-packed venue and their two kids – including their son, Majesty – Shatta Wale called out the name of the mother of his son and proposed to her.
In the middle of a joint performance of ‘Low Tempo’ a song by the couple, Shatta Wale went on his knees, pulled out a beautiful ring and proposed to his girlfriend, Michy.
Michy obviously could not hide her surprise and excitement on stage, as she accepted the proposal. Also on the stage was Majesty, the couple’s first and only child, as well as Shatta Wale’s older daughter.
After that surprise, the lovebirds shared a long passionate kiss on stage amidst loud cheers and chants from their teeming fans.
After the kiss, they performed ‘BulletProof’ together while intermittently holding hands.
It is however unclear when the two will officially walk down the aisle.
A few days ago, we brought you reports about the gas explosion that occured on Friday, in Osisioma Local Government of Abia state.
According to reports, 24 person were burnt to death in the explosion which happened in the early hours of that fateful day.
A gallant Nigerian soldier identified as LCFL Nnaemeka Sunday Evoh has been confirmed as one of the victims of the pipeline explosion.
Other The victims include a nursing mother and two other soldiers. Several others were said to have sustained various degrees of burns and were rushed to hospital.
Confirming the development after he visited the scenes of the explosion at Umuaduru and Umuimo in Osisioma LGA, the State Commissioner of Police, Mr Anthony Ogbizi, said the explosion occurred due to spillage from a pipeline used to pump petrol from the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) deport in Abia.
“According to the information from the NNPC depot manager in Aba, the spillage occurred from a pipeline that was undergoing maintenance,” he said.
“He said they were instructed test run the pipeline to ascertain its level of functionality. When we visited the two communities, we were informed that 14 people were reported dead at Umuimo village , while 10 died at Umuduru community . Some of victims who sustained various degrees of burns were said to be asleep when the incident occurred . They were said to have been taken to nearby hospitals and traditional medicine homes for treatment.”
Ogbizi said the police and other security agencies in the state were investigating the plausible cause of the explosion.
A friend Kelvin Chinedu described him as a great warrior.

According to a report by PUNCH, Kizz Daniel and Reekado Banks are not on good terms.. Apaprently, the two have been nursing the rift lowkey, but it became public when Kizz Daniel refused to be involved in a song with Harrysong because Reekado was also featured on the track.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has issued a statement rejecting in its entirety the attempt by the ‘Buhari Presidency to foist a full-blown fascism on our country, beginning with the placement of illegal travel restrictions on Nigerians’.
The party said ‘this draconian step is clearly targeted at members of the opposition parties, perceived political enemies of President Muhammadu Buhari, well-meaning Nigerians, including members of the business community, religious leaders, former political leaders and traditional rulers, who are perceived to be averse to President Buhari’s re-election bid’.
The PDP further notes that this “decree” is a direct clampdown on our democratic order and an overthrow of rights of our citizenry as guaranteed by the 1999 Constitution (as amended). We hope this is not a ploy to harm certain eminent Nigerians on the claims of resisting travel restrictions.
The whole world can now see how fascism is fast taking over our democracy and judicial system and how the Buhari administration, by fiat, has directly ordered that citizens be secretly trailed, their movements and financial transactions restricted by government agencies, without recourse to due process of the law.
While the PDP notes that the Buhari Presidency has gone into panic mode since the popular emergence of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as PDP Presidential candidate and the spontaneous jubilation his emergence has evoked across the country, the party maintains that the resort to total clamp down on the opposition and our supporters will be totally unacceptable.
What this means is that all Nigerians, particularly, opposition members, members of the business community and religious leaders, have become endangered and stand the risk of state violence under the All Progressives Congress (APC) administration.
The PDP therefore alerts the international community to hold the Buhari Presidency responsible should any harm befall any opposition leader, key members of the business community and religious leaders across the country as we march towards the 2019 general elections.
Finally, the repositioned PDP invites all to note how the APC and the Buhari Presidency are pushing our nation to the brinks but restates that no amount of intimidation, harassment and foisting of fascism will deter Nigerians from their determination to rally on the platform of the PDP to oust the incompetent, anti-people and repressive APC administration, come 2019.
The management team of popular artiste, Temitope Adekunle, aka Small Doctor, has reacted to a viral video where the singer told President Muhammadu Buhari to stop sleeping.
During the recent All Progressives Congress convention in Abuja, Small Doctor was invited to perform and while on stage, he said, “Buhari, ye ma sun (Buhari, stop sleeping).”
A member of the singer’s management team, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told Sunday Scoop that Small Doctor was not worried when he saw the video, as he knew it was not politically motivated. The insider explained, “Small Doctor didn’t do anything unusual while performing at the event. He was there to entertain everyone, which he did. It was not the first time he would be performing the song and we have the video of the event on our devices too. The reaction of President Buhari when he was performing was different from what people saw in the video. They must have edited it.”
The source also revealed that Small Doctor was hailed by all the delegates present at the convention after the performance. The source stated, “After Small Doctor performed, everyone enjoyed it and he went to greet some of the delegates, including governors and senators. He couldn’t have greeted Buhari because he was far from him. You can tell that the video was politically masterminded.
“When the video first came out, people were saying Buhari was not dancing to the performance. Suddenly, they changed the conversation and said Small Doctor called out Buhari. He didn’t call out anyone; he was there to entertain and not to abuse anyone.

The company cried on social media, promising to reward anyone with useful information to track him.
However he has been caught, and his name is Victory Ene, known for showing off on his IG page. In the CCTV cam, he could be seen putting the Macbook away in his red bag while consciously looking around to avoid being caught.
President Muhammadu Buhari has banned 50 prominent Nigerians suspected of engaging in corruption from travelling abroad.
The individuals, whose identities were not disclosed, include those whose assets, valued at N50million and above, are subject of corruption investigation and litigation.
The statement by presidential spokesperson, Garba Shehu, said the measure is part of the implementation of Executive Order Number 6 which seeks to ensure “that all assets within a minimum value of N50 million or equivalent, subject to investigation or litigation are protected from dissipation by employing all available lawful means, pending the final determination of any corruption-related matter.”

PRESIDENT BUHARI DIRECTS IMPLEMENTATION OF EO 6 IN FULL FORCE
Following the instant judicial affirmation of the constitutionality and legality of the Executive Order 6 (EO6), President Muhammadu Buhari has mandated the Attorney-General of the Federation and the Minister of Justice to implement the Order in full force.
To this end, a number of enforcement procedures are currently in place by which the Nigeria Immigration Service and other security agencies have placed no fewer than 50 high profile persons directly affected by EO6 on watch-list and restricted them from leaving the county pending the determination of their cases.
Also, the financial transactions of these persons of interest are being monitored by the relevant agencies to ensure that the assets are not dissipated and such persons do not interfere with, nor howsoever corrupt the investigation and litigation processes.
It is instructive to note that EO6 was specifically directed to relevant law enforcement agencies to ensure that all assets within a minimum value of N50 million or equivalent, subject to investigation or litigation are protected from dissipation by employing all available lawful means, pending the final determination of any corruption-related matter.
The Buhari administration reassures all well-meaning and patriotic Nigerians of its commitment to the fight against corruption, in accordance with the 1999 Constitution (as amended) and the general principles of the Rule of Law.
Accordingly, this administration will uphold the rule of law in all its actions and the right of citizens would be protected as guaranteed by the Constitution.
We, therefore, enjoin all Nigerians to cooperate with the law enforcement authorities towards ensuring a successful implementation of the Executive Order 6 which is a paradigm-changing policy of the Federal Government in the fight against corruption.

Singer, Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade popularly known as Mr. Eazi has declared that he’s in no way ashamed to declare his love publicly for his billionaire daughter girlfriend.
While speaking with Sunday Scoop, Eazi reacted to a question on the true status of his relationship with Temi, he stated:
“I don’t think there is anything hidden about it. Temi is my one and only girlfriend.”

‘Wetin we gain’ singer, Victor AD who was recently robbed, had a chat with Sunday Scoop, and he’s debunked insinuations that his song, which glorified money-making, probably propelled the attackers into wanting to make money at all costs.
He said:
“It was not something that I have been through before; that was my first time of being robbed. It wasn’t a palatable experience but I give God all the glory. It has nothing to do with my song. At the end of the day, everybody wants to make money. As long as we are here on earth, our main focus is to make money; after serving God. Nobody wants to be broke. Before I sang the song, armed robbers were in existence.”

PDP leaders in the South East have said that they were not consulted before the selection of a man from their region as running mate to Atiku Abubakar, the party’s presidential candidate, Vanguard is reporting.
This was made known by Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi state and Chairman of South East Governors’ Forum after the meeting.
“We saw news flying up and down saying that our presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has picked a running mate from the zone. We were shocked because we were not consulted. We recently brought you reports about a Nigerian boy who was about to be deported from Ireland back to Nigeria, but was allowed to remain in the country after his classmates mounted a campaign against his deportation.
14-year-old Nonso Muojeke of Tullamore College in Ireland who alongside his brother Viktor Muojeke and his mother Chidiebere Muojeke who were to be deported, were granted leave to remain in Ireland.
Thanks to his fellow students and teachers who staged up an unthinkable campaign before the deportation was revoked. This was achieved by a 21,000 signature-strong online campaign which was set up by his classmates at Tullamore College.
They also printed posters of Nonso and shared on social media including taking to the streets in Ireland to campagn against the deportation.

A woman has reportedly lost her leg, after some guys who were ‘high’ on codeine rammed into a Keke napep.
The accident occurred in the New Oko-Oba area of Lagos.
Instagram user @prodigy2639 who shared the report, disclosed that the boys were ‘clearly high and bottle of codeine’ were found in the car. He wrote;

A 14-year-old Nigerian schoolboy, Nonso Muojeke, whose classmates mounted a campaign against his deportation, has been granted leave to remain in Ireland along with his mother and brother, RTE reports.
Students and teachers at Nonso’s school, Tullamore College, had protested outside Leinster House, and presented a petition to Minister for Justice Charlie Flanagan in an attempt to stop the deportation order, which was issued last June.
Minister Flanagan has confirmed that the family has been granted leave to remain. Nonso was two-years-old when he arrived in Ireland from Nigeria, with his mother and his older brother, after his father died in 2006.
The family applied for asylum, but their application was turned down and a deportation order was issued. Nonso’s supporters argued that the deportation would be unjust since he had spent almost his entire life in Ireland.
The petition to stop his deportation was signed by 22,000 people. Speaking through an intermediary the Muojeke family said it was “overwhelmed by the news” and appealed for privacy at this time.

I was walking down to the store on the ground floor at my new plaza in Garki II to get a bottle of water, and I saw this young girl hawking grand nut. She brought her tray down to sell.
I walked pass her just when she was raising her head up to talk to her customers and boom , something caught my attention!
Her EYES SHE HAS THE MOST ELECTRIFYING EYES!
The kind that can catch anyone’s attention and HOLD it down.
I mean, her � � are CATHCY, PUNCHY AND GORGEOUS.
I reversed immediately (like what did I just see?) I wanted to be sure of what I saw.
I looked again, and there they were, very gorgeous adorable beautiful eyes.
I told her to please come up to my studio space once she was done with the people she was attending to.
As the curious kitty that I am, I needed to know this girl, where is she from, like her origin. Is she mixed? Or…? I also felt sad that those beautiful eyes be hawking � on the streets. I suddenly felt scared too, I prayed and hoped she wasn’t being taken advantage of by men.
I told my co – workers that I would like to have her stay with me, so I can protect her and help her the little way I could. And they all said, “ ha! Slow down, do you know her well enough to bring her to your home? ….” One particular thing intrigued me about this beauty, She is has a hustling spirit. I thought to makeup her up and pop those eyes, I told her if she would want that and she said yes.
But, her business is very important to her oh. We set dates many times but she never shows up, when I finally saw her and asked why she didn’t come by again, she said she wasn’t able to finish selling her grandnut that day.
I was impressed by this. She’s not lazy and not easily carried away.
I told @peterusmanphoto about her and he said to bring her for a shoot. But she was difficult to get hold of, as she had no phone I could reach her on.
I only get to see her whenever i see her passing by. Lol
A Nigerian lady has taken to Instagram to cry out after buying an iPhone in the UK, only to receive a pack of pen in Nigeria.
According to the lady who goes by ‘smalieee’ on Instagram, she paid over 40k for the shipment but got a pack of pens instead.

Everything about this country is messed up. Got a brand new iPhone 6s from the UK and decided to bring it down here through DHL while my mates are buying iPhone X,XMax,i decided to cut my coat according to my size,bought what i could afford .
I could have used UPS,FEDEX or any other courier service,but i chose DHL thinking they won’t disappoint,they are good and trustworthy.
After paying ₦18,000 to bring it down here.DHL brings a letter on Monday,8th(the estimated day of delivery) saying i had custom dues and other dues to pay amounting to ₦21,632,that’s about ₦40,000 altogether.
Just for the package to arrive on Wednesday,10th and instead of seeing an iPhone 6s,Lo and behold it was a pack of blue biro,i know it is very funny.This is so unfair and cruel,i don’t know who did this or how it happened .

A graduate of Niger Delta University and a serving corp member is trending online after erecting a sculptural piece of the governor of rivers state, Chief Barr. Nyesom Wike in Eleme local government area of rivers state.
The corper identified as Timinipre Isaac Indiamaowei, with State code number: RV/17B/2605, erected the sculptural piece with the help of other students as part of community development service (CDS).
The excited corper and others posed in front of the sculpture which was erected near the market square.

Have come to realize life is a journey which everyone must go through everyday to become the best version of who we are. I realized that pain changes everything in our life. At times God use pain to get our attention.
God used pain to remold me. My life journey started experiencing real changes in 2016 when someone I loved n dated for like 4years went on to have an introduction with someone else without breaking up with me. Story for another day… I felt so bitter n angry with life etc, I felt heavy burden on my mind. Bcoz I was holding on to the pain. Then I came across a post online saying “forgiveness is like setting someone free and realizing that person is you”.
At first I was lost cos I didn’t get the message at all then I took my time to understand it then I discover that was angry n hard on myself. So I decided to write down things I’m angry about n also write things I achieved to be a happy pretty girl. The Director General of the Atiku Abubakar Presidential Campaign Organisation, Otunba Gbenga Daniel yesterday revealed why former Anambra State governor, Mr. Peter Obi, was picked as the running mate to the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
In a statement last night, Daniel said Mr. Obi’s choice was largely influenced by his youthfulness, vast knowledge of global and local economics as well as being a financial expert, all experience which Nigeria is in great need of at this point in time.
“This ticket will be able to steer our nation back on the path of progress, economic prosperity and unity,” Daniel said.
In line with its pre-primary election zoning formula, Atiku yesterday picked ex-Governor Peter Obi as his running mate for the 2019 presidential election.
With the development, the party has returned to the winning formula of the defunct National Party of Nigeria from 1979 to 1983 in which ex-President Shehu Shagari paired with the late former Vice President Alex Ekwueme.
PDP’s zoning of the VP slot to the South East was allegedly designed to woo the Igbo who had been complaining of marginalization.
Since the conclusion of PDP presidential primaries, party leaders have narrowed the choice of vice presidential candidate to the South-West and the South-East.
But Atiku and the party leadership have opted for the South-East in order to address “the marginalization of the zone.”
Already, the PDP has given a copy of the nomination form to Obi to fill with the ex-governor having audience with Atiku at about 5 pm yesterday.
It was also gathered that a South-South governor may be appointed as the Director-General of the Presidential Campaign Organisation of the PDP.
Investigation conducted by our correspondent revealed that the PDP leadership had presented some guidelines to Atiku on how to pick his running mate.
A top source said: “Earlier on Monday, the PDP presented guidelines to Atiku and eventually, it was agreed that ex-Governor Peter Obi fits into the criteria set out.
“The concession of the slot to the South-East was also in line with the wish of Atiku.
“In its power sharing formula, the PDP had conceded the VP slot to the South-East and reneging on the agreement would have been fatal for the party in 2019.
“Apart from being a prudent leader, Obi has rich experience in the private and public sectors which will help him manage the nation’s economy as the Chairman of the National Economic Council (NEC).
“The banking sector, which is the mainstay of the nation’s economy, will have a new lease of life with Obi in charge.
“More importantly, the marginalization of the Igbo was one of the issues which PDP had promised to address.
“Since Ekwueme lost the presidential primaries to ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo, the Igbo have not had a fair share of power at the centre.”
Responding to a question, the source added: “The nomination of Obi will foster the nation’s unity and create a sense of belonging for all tribes.
“It is like a return to the winning formula of the defunct National Party of Nigeria (NPN) between 1979 and 1983. The ultimate objective of PDP is the preservation of the nation’s unity.
“More permutations by the PDP will emerge in the next few weeks. We want to make the election of the PDP a fait accompli with interplay of dynamics.”
At press time, it was gathered that a South-South governor could be appointed as the Director-General of the Presidential Campaign Organization of PDP for 2019 poll.
It was learnt that the said governor is on the verge of completing his second term, a development which has narrowed the choice to Governor Henry Seriake Dickson of Bayelsa State.
But consultations were still ongoing last night on the campaign structure.
A reliable source said: “The thinking in PDP over the DG of the 2019 campaign is to pick a governor from the South-South who is almost completing his second term.
“The idea of the President of the Senate, Dr. Bukola Saraki being the DG is out of place because he leads the National Assembly, which is a strategic arm of government. He has a lot at hand; we do not want to distract him or any of the serving governors.
“I think the DG might be a PDP governor who is almost completing his second term in office.”
Although the source was not forthcoming, it was learnt that the Governor of Bayelsa State, Henry Seriake Dickson, might be appointed the DG.
“Dickson played a key role in mobilising support and perfecting strategies which earned Atiku the presidential mandate, “ a member of the National Working Committee of PDP added.
